"My mom recommended this lil spot. You need to park in the back and you can go through the back door, then depending on how busy the restaurant is, it leads right to the "waiting line." Speaking Vietnamese is helpful but not necessary, though I do think it leads to getting your food faster (cause you can order while you are in line). I like that the menu is small so you don't have to agonize over what to get. Prices are fair and food is hearty. I ordered the beef stew with bread, lots of beef (chunks) and though a few were tougher to chew, some were pretty tender. I just wish there was some veggies in there, the stew was slightly sweet but had just enough saltiness to remind you that it's a savory dish. Bread came out hot and toasted. Restaurant is really clean and I saw workers changing gloves multiple times. Each table also has their own bottle of hand sanitizer. Cash only!"
"For a mid-island grocery store, it's about as great as you can ask for. Good selection of liquor, beer, and a wide variety of everything else. Today (Thursday), they were randomly (or maybe not randomly?) selling brisket and bbq ribs to go by the pound, at great prices. The ribs were absolutely delicious and after I ate the four I purchased, I immediately regretted not getting more. Love the Camano Island IGA!"
"Amazing service and amazing ruben sandwich! This place is hidden in the far corner near the freeway but I will always go out of my way to this place if I am in town. Authentic and tasty, Great balance in flavors. I highly recommend this local joint with so much history."
"cute place. It's small, but has a nice deli counter. Chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, potato samosas, curried chicken salad and even corn dogs. yum! Plus they carry Boar's head meat and make cold and panini sandwiches to order there.Samosas were $1.99 each and empanadas are 4.99 each. But the samosas are big. Two of them can make a pretty satisfying lunch, I suppose three if you're really hungry!"
"Great having this around the corner. It sure beats walking to the grocery store. Folks are friendly they've got beer, scratch tickets, and made to order sandwiches. Very reasonable prices."
"I was nearby recently and was hoping to get to a fancy grocery store - turns out there's a PCC in Columbia City!! The neighborhood is really growing up and this is such a welcomed addition!Pretty good size store; seems bigger than Burien. Lots of parking in the underground garage, free of change for customers. This location had a very good selection of ready made items (several of which are veggie friendly) also a good selection of bakery items. The curried tofu warp I got was pretty good...definitely overpriced though. Throughout the store they have a great selection of vegetarian/vegan centric products, tons of dried/bulk goods of various kinds, and a well rounded selection of things you'd expect to find in these kinds of stores.Produce department definitely left me wanting more and I had to go to another store to fill in those needs. Overall a very nice selection of produce, but the quality was lacking for a lot of things and others were 2x the price of regular stores so...Overall PCC is a great store and while they won't be my primary store, they definitely have their place!"
"I work nearby and I like coming here for lunch. For me, it's usually a Caesar salad or chili and it's always good. The service is friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this place for lunch."
"I live down the street from here and am so excited to have found such a great little Vietnamese bakery/ restaurant near me. They have Vietnamese iced coffee which is super good!! And I tried the ham and pork bahn mi which did not disappoint. My friend had a pork plate with rice which he seems to enjoy. They have a variety of pastries and they also have pho. All of it looks really good. Will definitely be coming back here for my iced coffee fix."
"The sandwiches here are so good! I've been coming here for years! Highly recommend this place for lunch."
"Good variety of East Asian condiments and goodies. I got a Punjabi mango pickle relish and a red chili garlic chutney. Also sampled a very delicious cookie with salt and sesame sprinkles . When I came in they had only been open about a week so the deli appliances were not up and running just yet but they promise meat skewers; burgers and more. Very friendly proprietor made me feel very welcome. I'm definitely coming back to explore the deli offerings."
"Only grocery store that was open late when we came (11pm). There were a lot of people trying to buy last minutes items. They have a variety of items. It's a mix between a liquor store and a small grocery store. The wine selection for a small place was pretty good. Same goes for the beers and non alcoholic liquids. They don't have the gallon waters though but liter waters they have. There's also a sandwich shop, not sure what time they open but it was close when we came later in the night. Small mom and pop place but has the necessities."
"Market Grocery is open kind of late (10pm on weeknights), sells wine & beer, and carries various and sundry other products that will see you through until morning, when other things are open. What's not to like about that? I like it because I work downtown, and I can grab something to snack on there. They have a small deli, the man who owns the shop is really nice, and it's easy to find. The only bummer is that if you spend less than $7 (what happened to $5?) when paying with a debit/credit card, they will charge you 50 cents--not the end of the world."

This is a cry far from a true grocery store!! Is old and dated and most of the employees that work here are rude and unhelpful. The last time we bought steak from this so called grocery store. It was hard like a rock and couldn't eat it. So we threw it awayPrices aren't that great either and the produce department is horrible. I rather drive 20 minutes and shop at QFC or Hagens than come here

Second time was just as great as the first. The Reuben is by far one of the best I have eaten. Warning...it can be a hot mess, but doesn't that contribute to the flavor and texture and wonderful experience? MHM makes sandwiches with love and passion! Keep up the great work!

The local go to store for beer, wine, cigs, drinks, snacks and deli sandwiches. Its a really clean, nice shop and some items are overpriced, but that is to be expected for this type of convenience store.

Love this small store! They make good deli sandwiches and offer many lunch/snack sized items in the store. The son made me a sandwich & the Dad rang up my order - they were both really friendly and appreciative of the business. Prices were decent (and this egg-salad sandwich is really good!).

Local community market with fantastic produce, gorgeous, fish and meats, and a delightful bakery. The food court has an array of everything from salads to desserts, hot and cold food alike. This is the place to buy a fresh turkey for the holidays!

This place rocks!! Love visiting on my lunch break. I've tried the turkey panini, the reuben, and the BBQ and all are delish! The wait time is always minimal! I'm talking less then 5 minutes even with the lunch rush! An absolute must for the BOTHELL area! Yum!

Came here to try their pho as a cure to my headache, and I have to say it's pretty solid! There are probably other restaurants in the area that specialize more in their pho but one thing I like about Le's is the nice peaceful vibe they have. The restaurant space is pretty big so if you're looking for dine-in you can easily find yourself a quiet secluded corner to enjoy your meal. It gave me quiet cafe/coffee shop vibes. I had a pretty nasty headache so I knew I wouldn't be able to stand the loudness at some of the other pho restaurants in the area. The pho broth here was solid. Anytime I don't need to add hoisin sauce means the broth had enough flavor, which it did. It was $13.50 for a decent sized bowl which isn't exactly cheap but definitely filling. It's also a deli/bakery first so you'll pick up your food when it's ready rather than having a dedicated server.Overall, great spot for Vietnamese food in the South Seattle area with awesome vibes.

"They just reopened today after being closed for a year and wow have they changed! Brand new kitchen and dining room and boy, is the staff excited to be back! The menu is new (no breakfast, sadly) but a nice variety. They had a grand re-opening special of a Hamburger meal which included a HUGE hamburger made of Angus beef, leaf lettuce, red onion and some sort of delicious seasoning; a heaping serving of fries, and a fountain drink for only $8.99. There was so much food, their To Go container could barely hold it all!Seriously... the best burger I have had in a long time. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty...reminded me of the type of burger you would make yourself on your own grill in your backyard. If you haven't been here in a while (and from the reviews, it sounds like a lot of the less flattering reviews were from several years ago) give them another try. I've never met a friendlier group of people serving better food at such a reasonable price."
"I absolutely have and will always love Jersey Mikes. They have the best staff, the best sandwiches allllll the time. They have a ton of seating inside and it's pretty spacious. I normally order the Turkey provolone, Mikes way with extra pickles and yellow mustard; but the Big Kahuna and Italian are also delicious. Thank you for having the best sandwiches around!"
"This place is literally freaky fast. I ordered my food as I headed home, which was only 6 minutes away. As I walk into the lobby to wait for the JJ guy, he was already there. Sandwich was made perfectly"
"I was super critical of the store because of my ice cream fiasco in my first review. I really should have been more comprehensive, and generous, in my review then to state my friend had a good experience purchasing her snacks.I stopped by tonight on my way home, even though I had said I would not go to that store again, I got an ice cream cone. It was black cherry Dreyer's brand ice cream and it was delicious. Totally hit the spot. And the cashier/ice cream server was super friendly.I had never paid attention to the store before. I had only been in there once when I got that sour ice cream a while back. But it looks like a pretty cool place where lots of people hang out. There were tons of young people there today they look like they were having fun."
"Kind of a cross between a gift shop and a very small grocery....a "grift shop" perhaps? The emphasis is on Filapino foods and gifts. This store is tucked along a strip in the North City area of Shoreline so its not too easy to find."
"A solid little deli & beer/wine store. I stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich one morning and the service was quick and the food was good. Relatively inexpensive and a pretty wide variety of nice quality meats and cheeses."
"This review is for the banh mi at the deli here. I was at Hello Banh Mi nearby to grab some banh mi and bubble tea, and after ordering, forgot to order the banh mi. So I remembered they sell them here, and decided to give them a try. I ordered the Grilled Chicken one and the Grilled Pork. They were decently priced, a little bit under $4 each. They were both pretty good. Bread wasn't too hard or dry, and the meat was tender. And I liked that they used paté instead of mayo. If nearby, I wouldn't mind trying other sandwiches."
"Came here for breakfast, ordered the magnificent Breakfast of Champions sandwich, and found my new favorite breakfast sandwich! While my sandwich was being made, I took a nice stroll through the market. A fantastic array of wines, beers, deli items, and many things that I can find only in much larger supermarkets.Again, a great market and I'll be visiting again whenever I'm in the area!"
"New Town Deli is right where I live! So you can imagine how amazingly convenient this place is for me. I have been going here 2-3 times every week since I discovered it. I can get basic groceries - milk, bread, candies, snacks, and wines+beer. They also have a Boar Head sandwich counter, which makes for quick and dirty meals. All of this praise, and a 3 star review? That's because I would happily go to another place if I could. Everything is overpriced. The folks here keep changing and they are all quirky in their own way. One guy doesn't say a single unnecessary word and behaves like a strict teacher. Another one tries to joke around, but I struggle to get what he's trying to say. A third one is always watching something on his phone and just can't look away, even when I need to ask him something.I come here solely because of how close by it is and I would not recommend anyone to go out of their way to come here."
"Wow! This place carries sweets and food items that bring back childhood memories. In my childhood I used to consume the best turkish goodies! I feel lucky to have found Koza in kirkland. Friendly, Clean and Organized"
"Ok I'll start with the good...for the most part, this was a really tasty sandwich. The meat, cheese and veggies were all fresh and high quality, and the pickles, peppers, and gardiniera were great. If that's where the story ended, this would be a 5-star review. The beginning of the bad is that for a $14 sandwich, there definitely wasn't enough meat (eg 2 slices of salami), and the bread was fairly dry, particularly at the butt ends. They also claim their sandwiches are 9", but as you can see my roll barely hit the 8" mark. If that's where the story ended, this would be a 4-star review. Where my visit really went downhill was watching my cold sandwich be made with bare hands. That's right, no gloves used to handle the meat, lettuce, onions, pickles - anything. The woman working here was very nice, and I didn't have the heart to say anything...but I should have. It should be glaringly obvious, even if we weren't in the midst of a pandemic, that you need to wear gloves when preparing ready-to-eat food in a restaurant. It also happens to be ILLEGAL not to. Not cool, and I definitely can't recommend you eat an establishment that has this attitude towards food safety."
"Thing to keep in mind, this business is very tailored to the customer base that surrounds it. This is an industrial part of Tacoma/fife so a lot of the customer base is construction, warehouse, freight etc. and quite frankly, we don't care too much about how dim or bright the deli is. Much more focused on getting good, hot food quickly and for a decent price. This is the only restaurant in the area where you can walk in and walk out within minutes. They keep the pace moving which I love! It may come off as cold or rude to people who are used to a more sit-down restaurant style but the owner is very friendly and will remember you and your order once you become a regular. They have "the soup of the day" which my favorites are chicken corn chowder and chicken noodle. The days they aren't serving my fave soup, I will get the chicken Bulgogi bowl and it is soooo good!! I tend to stay away from spicy foods but the bulgogi bowl is worth the numbing of my lips. It is rice topped with the chicken bulgogi, grilled onions, slaw, greens and a drizzle of sauce. The flavor is amazing and it is always fresh and hot. They also have a self serve salad bar. It's 6.99/lb which adds up quickly."
"True to form, PCC offers an abundance of fresh produce, enticing "healthy" treats and prices that make it somewhat improbable for the majority. We love coming here (and to other locations) to enjoy the free piece (single serving) of fruit/vegetable available to little ones shopping with their adults. The produce always seems fresh and clean, very seldom ready to go off in a day or two. The dairy products are a go-to for us, as they are sourced amiably from trustworthy companies."
"This is the second Marvel Grocery Store and one I haven't ever been into until this past weekend. The place is very popular and gets congested terribly easy with customers. The deli set up is slightly different than the Tacoma location as it must be common to have heavy customer traffic and you have to pick a number in order to get waited on at the deli. They have about the same merchandise as the Tacoma location other than a few noticeable differences like the Auburn location has a hot case area(The Tacoma used to have one but no longer does) so you can get ready to eat food items like sausages and chicken. We had a chicken piece in a deep fried batter which was delicious but there was no sign for the name of what we had. Best get to the hot case area early in the day as the close it up in early to mid afternoon. On the flip side the Tacoma location has what looks like a fully functional bakery where you can purchase freshly baked breads while the Auburn location has packaged breads that looked shipped in.This location and the Tacoma location both have a wonderful freshly made dessert pastry section so there is plenty of sweet temptations at both locations but a few of those options look like they vary between the two locations."
"HUGE disappointment with their customer service. I had a coupon code from T-Mobile for a free sandwich from the T-Mobile Tuesday giveaway promotions. Not surprising, both my husband and I have T-Mobile, and we both have a free sandwich code as a result. Hubby ordered his yesterday, using his code, and the process was fine. Today, I asked my husband to order mine for me since he already created an account to get his free sandwich the previous day using his own code. But the store manager would not let him get my free sandwich since it was ordered from same account. Because it was a unique code, the online ordering system accepted the order, and the order was validated. It wasn't until my husband arrived at Jimmy John's to pick up the sandwich, that the store manager then declined to provide it. I'm sorry but that's total B.S. If your system allows the code to go through, AND the customer is already standing in front of you to pick up, YOU SHOULD HONOR IT!! Because the coupon is now "used", I can't create my own account to get *my* free sandwich. It's a complete waste of time, and an extremely poor customer relationship. If Jimmy John is having this promotion with T-Mobile to drum up business, then do it properly!! You do NOT waste a customer's time by validating the transaction online and then declining it in person. That's just ridiculous!!YOU owe me a sandwich and gas money!"
"Open in here for the usual things one needs at a corner deli/ fuel station, & every need was met & surpassed. Fuel prices very reasonable, staff very friendly, Bathrooms clean. Had a club sandwich at the deli with delicious large portion & the gal was super-friendly as she gave me a side salad. Another regular customer gave a high-recommendation to their burgers."
"The food is good, including their sandwiches, breakfast items, salad bar, hot buffet, meats, not to mention all the other stuff they manage to fit in there. Plus, if you request an item, whether it be a vegetable for the salad bar or a kind of soda, they will stock it for you. As an added bonus, the employees are extremely kind."
"This was the most magnificent breakfast place that was recommended to us from our hotel that is attached to this restaurant. I was overwhelmed by the menu, and I wish I had quite some time to stare at the menu before I had ordered however, I was quite happy with what I got. I wish I could go back several times over to get different things. This place does not disappoint, but make sure you go there early because it's very busy. I got the haystack, and it was amazing"
"Fast friendly service at great prices and the food is fresh & delicious! Perfect place for a fast lunch."
"It's a small place but there is seating inside and outside so there were lots of people there but it wasn't crowded. The service was great. Quick and friendly!I thought the selection on the menu wasn't the best. It's half breakfast items, which is not what I wanted.I had the patty melt with fries. The burger was pretty good and the fries were great. They gave me a lot of fries.A downside is that their soda is in a can and it's $2.75. That seems pretty high for a can of Coke. I would just get water next time. The area has lots of street parking and I was able to get a good spot on a busy Saturday."
"I enjoy frequenting PCC for what it is and when I want stuff. I've been shopping this local PNW chain since just before the old small & charming Seward Park location closed.A new prominent fixture on a cozy corner right in the CD, this moderate sized natural/organic grocery store is a welcoming & refreshing update with a nice thoughtful art installation overhead. Well stocked, clean and airy are a few of my favorite things. You can't refill bulk spices here (nearest refill is at CC) but there's still plenty of good staples in the packaged & produce sections. My favorite snack is the Kasha Bar that happens to be naturally vegan and quite wholesome, I might add. The garage is decent; be aware that upon exiting the sidewalk is a blind spot and as such approach it very slow or treat as a stop sign.Room for improvement: Similar to the CC location, the parking garage design just seems mediocre. Probably becoming an industry standard, they seem designed for medium to compact vehicles. My favorite pet peeve is incorporating the floor columns into the parking stalls and not even painting them a good safety color. I hope they paint a mural along the empty north wall; that would be sweet."
