Hidden Gem
The coffee stand at Cowen! Might be nice to have some more food options in the afternoon, but overall a fine place to sit on a sunny day.
Latte with passion fruit tart
This thing makes really good espresso.
Heaven in a cup... Yummmm!

Sweet treat for later. I love really, really dark chocolate, sometimes it's a bit much for me, but I still manage. Lol.
A bit off on their latte art this morning, but it's still delicious.

If you love quality, fresh ground coffee, top shelf french pastries while jazz music plays as you see the kids play at the park- this is your place. This coffee shop speaks to my soul, the owner is lovely and thoughtful. The family who owns the coffee shop and grocery store care deeply about their local community and neighborhood. Very happy to have found this gem.

This is a review primarily of the cafe that's a part of this store. I LOVE the place and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. It's close enough to my apartment; it's right across the street from my favourite park in the world; it has the cheapest oat-milk-latte in Seattle; it's never crowded; they always have Le Fournil pastries; what's not to love?

This place must have changed hands in the last year. You will not find an upscale deli, coffees grocery store. The shelves are stocked with what appears to be a random selection of stuff bought from walmart or costco.2 stars because they do sell beer and wine at a reasonable price.

This place is amazing They serve amazing coffee & delicious baked goods. The shop also couldn't be owned by nicer people. The woman who usually works the coffee bar never fails to brighten my day. She is an angel!

I love this local spot for coffee and pastries. The owners of the coffee shop and grocery are both so kind - it's a family owned business and it shows. You feel a part of the neighborhood! The coffee is great and the pastries - from Le Fournie - are delish. I recommend this over Herkimer, which is right up the street.

If I could give no stars I would. The owner of this cafe is flat out rude. I went in there yesterday to buy 3 pastries. She gave me a hard time because I was taking away pastries from her regular customers. I said I was a regular customer. She said everyday customer. She said in the future if I wanted that many I should call ahead to order and prepay. For 3 measly pastries? When I could go down the street to Il Fournil and buy the same pastry without the marked up price? She has been rude to me for some time, but I live here and want to support my neighborhood vendors. But never again. During the pandemic I went there once and left a $50 tip for a cup of coffee. Now I will patronize Seven, or Herkimers or Starbucks even. They are all near by. And be treated politely, and not rudely.
