Covington Creek Nursery

I am a collector of uncommon house plants. This is basically a landscaping company. I can't speak to that, but if you're looking for house plants, they say they have a good selection on the phone but that is not the truth. They have about a dozen pots of a bromeliad and a couple dozen succulents, all very common. No foliage houseplants. They actually need to stay out of the house plant business. Stick to what you're good at. Judging from the selection of outdoor plants and shrubs and trees, you likely excel at outdoor landscaping. Don't make someone drive thirty miles to see your "great selection" of houseplants. You don't have that. But now I know. I would have taken a photo but the plants are in a dark room and you can barely see them.

Great nursery! You can tell they care about their plants. And they are very knowledgeable about their plants which I really appreciate. I thought the prices were very reasonable. The displays were cute and gave me excellent ideas for my indoor and outdoor plants. I purchased a wreath on my last visit here and the smell just gives me goosebumps. Smells so fresh and brings back memories of camping.

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised how close it is to where we live. They have a great selection of plants, trees, shrubs, etc. I like how oranized they are and even have a separate area for indoor plants. Lots of gift ideas on display as well as actual plant/flower arrangements and garden decor. They also have sitting areas and a kids play area. Prices are reasonable. Lots of parking.

What a great find for me. Wonderful customer service, fair prices, good choice of plants.Lots of choices, large lot, with warm, "mom and pop" customer service. Will definitely be using them again!

The new ownership has really turned this place around! I visited over the weekend and was blown away! First of all the sheer variety of plants available is staggering and they're all healthy and beautifully displayed. They even have the greenhouses open to the public now with a fantastic assortment of blooming annuals. This has always been a hidden gem of a neighborhood nursery, but now it's next level! I will be doing all my plant shopping here from now on!

First time here. So helpful. Great selection. So quaint. I'll be back. Can't wait to try the lettuce I just planted.

Unhealthy looking plants. Way overpriced$$$! Ghost town of a nursery. Zero to hardly any customers there on both of my trips. Obvious why. Too many other quality nurseries around to visit this one!Don't bother!!!

Anthem construction, a major part of this business, abruptly quit today, November 8, 2020. They thus defaulted on a long term agreement to accomplish two projects for me for which I had been waiting 7 months. As recently as two weeks ago I was told I was on the schedule. Regardless of reason, this is no way to treat a 17-year faithful customer. I am now severely in the lurch and effectively a year behind on my work. My goal now is to tell everyone I can how unethical and inconsiderate these people are. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism. I suggest that no one, no one, purchase from these people. Life should have consequences. Covington Creek certainly deserves some now. Work with them at your risk. I promise you you will be sorry.

I am so disappointed with this place. The first time I came I wandered around for a half an hour. I could not find a single employee to help me. I even called the phone line to see if someone could come out and help me but no one answered. When I got home, they called me back and the lady explained that they had been short staffed. I understand the challenges many small businesses are facing with staffing shortages, so I decided to give them another chance. I showed up and a flustered looking gal asked me if there was something specific I needed help with and I asked for a specific shrub. She pointed vaguely to the far corner of the nursery and said it's over there. Again I wandered all over the place and couldn't find it. She never bothered to follow up or to show me where the product is. Again I left without being helped. This nursery is literally a minute from my house but I guess I will have to travel further to get anyone to help me. Fred Meyer's garden center has way better customer service than this place. I would have spent quite a bit here getting my garden ready but they obviously can't be bothered to help their customers.
