"This is a very small, packed to the brim store. It's quite randomly stocked. They sell a little bit of everything. The very cool thing is that they make and sell injera for 60 cents a piece. I will definitely be returning to pick some up soon."
"Great place to get hot food and also love all of the pre-seasoned meats that they have."
"Very friendly place with great customer service! Fantastic fresh bread and an amazing meat counter. You will find alot of high quality european favorites here. Love this place!"
"For an un-assuming bodega, this place has a TON of grocery options at your disposal. Surprisingly so.The first time I went in here I was shocked at how much space (quite a bit) and items you can find. We were on the hunt for tortillas and they had like 6 kinds, plus taco shells, hot sauces, you name it! Not to mention all the basics -- milk, eggs, bread, cheese, etc. As far as staples go you can find most everything here, even "potato rounds" -- flat little tater tots which I like more than actual tots themselves. The beer selection is sadly quite abysmal, but I have the Local 76 to cater to my needs there at least. The Indian couple running this place are super friendly too! So say hello and explore a bit while you are here, cuz you are bound to find something ~interesting~ at the last."
"This market has a restaurant inside... I believe it's the same name for both the market and the restaurant. Anyway I have eaten there several times already and I have to tell you their food is excellent. Really good size portions, authentic Mexican taste. Their aguas naturales are so delicious. If you have a chance give it a try I think you won't be disappointed. The staff are very friendly as well and the price is good too."

"Great friendly service in a well lighted, clean & organized minimart. Extra nice to have the growler filler."
"Open in here for the usual things one needs at a corner deli/ fuel station, & every need was met & surpassed. Fuel prices very reasonable, staff very friendly, Bathrooms clean. Had a club sandwich at the deli with delicious large portion & the gal was super-friendly as she gave me a side salad. Another regular customer gave a high-recommendation to their burgers."
"The food is good, including their sandwiches, breakfast items, salad bar, hot buffet, meats, not to mention all the other stuff they manage to fit in there. Plus, if you request an item, whether it be a vegetable for the salad bar or a kind of soda, they will stock it for you. As an added bonus, the employees are extremely kind."
"This place is so friendly. They listen to their customers and bring in new items that are requested. The customers are friendly too. This is a great place to get drinks; there's a awesome and increasing variety; it's getting better over time. Of course, they have a good variety of Lotto and scratch tickets too. There are plenty of snack items as well. If you need a last minute gift; well, check it out. Look for the nick knacks and stuff for kids. You'll find something; if not, please ask, and YOU will be listened to. There are lots of family friendly greeting cards too. Watch for the early morning Food Truck coming very soon! Yummy!"
"We were staying at a nearby rental and I ventured out to look for a place close by to buy some snacks. Came across this place which seemed pretty new as it never showed up on Google maps and I didn't find anything on the Internet. The interior also was very clean and modern as if it had been recently renovated. Ended up making 3 trips here over about a week. First time, I ended up purchasing some breakfast for my wife--- essentially you can pick whatever breakfast items (e.g., bacon) you want. My wife enjoyed the food. The next two times I came here for some drinks/snacks. This is a small establishment but it still has a decent selection, with some unique items. For example, I bought a Voodoo Ranger IPA during one trip. Appears to be a family operation and they seem friendly enough. Being from Hawaii, I was pleasantly surprised that they were selling spam musubi... although it was a bit pricey compared to what I'm used to. Overall, just a nice, convenient place if you're in the neighborhood and craving some snacks, drinks, etc."
"Small convenient store located centrally in Eastlake. It's a great location, in the middle of eastlake( which isn't very big). Eastlake does not have a large grocery store. This one is nice it has really everything you need for a small corner store. It's very small but it includes a hot case of food made daily, including cold sandwiches pre-made. Best of all they carry a large selection of gummy candies including hi-chews. It's a very important part of my vegetarian diet. The family who runs and operates the business are so nice. Probably the most personable for a convenient store. I recommend it for the "Oh, I forgot (blank), do you think the market will have it?" yes they do!"

I'm super grateful we live so close to this little convenient store! It has all those everyday items you need to function, and a whole lot more. They have your usual convenience store items like eggs, milk, ketchup, etc., but then they also have dried shiitake mushrooms, sesame oil, fresh garlic, and avacados! On top of that, their owners are also very kind and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

Found the Mexican mini mart that reminds us of home. Plus they had some additional like live tilapia, live crab, oysters. And they will fry anything they sell at no extra charge.

If you're from Oakland California, East Los Angeles, the Bronx New York or any Hood in America, this is the bodega, everything that represents the bad in America. It seems they specialize in porn and beer. The owners speak very good English but choose not to and pretend they don't understand you when a question is asked or trying to be polite. It seems that these folks are used to helping the north Everett garbage people that know exactly where to go, the beer cooler or the porn corner. This will be the last time I stop here for anything and I will be sure to let all of the people that I know driving through the area not to stop and be insulted or waste their time. I feel like I should give a reason for 2 stars instead of 1. They specialize in cooler refreshments. That's it! I'm willing to bet that the a.m. p.m. right across the street carries the same stuff. Please do not shop here unless you don't mind lining the pockets of people who receive grants and cheat our tax system and our nation. I work hard for my money and I promise you, absolutely nothing was given to me. As an American born minority I've received 0 grants or freebees of any kind after 3 years of applications and lobbying local government. 10 - 1 these folks received the "government package" and spit on the people that line their pockets. P.S.I apologize for the extremely negative review. Try them, you will see.

Lucky 5 is a total asset to the West Seattle Gatewood community. Clean and modern pumps (always stocked with receipt paper). The cheapest gas (or within pennies of it) in the area. Growlers filled with rotating local beers and all of the typical convenience store items. I especially appreciate the friendly staff, always adding a genuine "good luck" when I use the savings on gas to occasionally buy a lottery ticket. Where else would you play an insanely impossible game of chance than a place called Lucky 5?

Totally convenient and the best gas prices around. We always gas up here. Also good if you just need a very basic staple (like wine or beer.... well, ok. Milk and some other things, too) and you're coming from Hansville or Eglon, and are too lazy to go all the way to Albertson's. (Oh, please. We've all been there!) I haven't had anything from the deli, but reading the other reviews, I may have to stop here for a quick bite. I've also noticed it's always clean and well-lit, inside and out.
Visit Restaurant Page"I always joke that if you looked up "sketchy convenience store" in the dictionary, there'd be a picture of Parnells. Indeed, it's dimly lit, with faded signage and there are usually at least three or four sketchy-looking individuals hanging out in the parking lot, or around the corner. But if you can get past the sketchy people (and they're generally very polite to me), it's not too bad of a place. In fact, it's a fine place to buy candy, soda and beer. Prices are reasonable and they have a lot of selection. If you walk to the back, you can find milk, eggs, frozen dinners, and pantry staples. The owners are quiet and mild mannered, but look like they could kick some serious ass if the situation called for it.So even though I would love it if they tore it down and put a Trader Joe's in its place, it's perfectly fine for what it is."
"Nice place. Everything is overpriced, but hey.. It's a gas station.. AnywayThe workers there suck except one. The only good worker there is the guy that is working nights until 8 AM. He's a really friendly and cool guy. The rest like I said is really not good.. And careful! Some of them charge you extra stuff. I don't know if that's on purpose or not!"
"This is the closest store to my house to buy emergency milk for my cereal or quick beer run! The store is very small, similar to 7-11 or Circle K. Prices are 10-25% above normal grocery prices. You definitely pay for convenience! The store is family owned and I have only seen two different employees. Every time I go in I feel watched, like they suspect I will shoplift? Not sure if that's been an issue before with other patrons, but not a good feeling! Never get a smile or "thank you"??? Just not a good experience. Rather go up two blocks to Bartell's or Safeway."
"The guys that work here crack me up. There is always a dude at the door ready to tackle anyone attempting any shenanigans. Good place to snag a bottle of water or energy drink, wouldn't buy much else here..."
"I will say the setup is quite odd. It's like a gas station with no gas, but there's a bar. I will say the staff are friendly and the area is very well cleaned. Worth another visit."
"The freshest and best tasting Mexican food on the East side for the lowest price. MY MOM AND I ORDER TO FOOD TO GO HERE at least 3-4 TIMES A WEEK. What do we order: -Beef Taco Plate- well-seasoned meat and scrumptious street tacos that are the opposite of fried and dried out.-Sopes plate with sopes MADE FROM SCRATCH! -Burrito Diabolito with chicken; a huge burrito that could easily serve two. Inside you will find homemade rice, grilled onions, and lots of meat. It isn't spicy at all so if you like spicy ask for extra green or red sauce. Burrito comes topped with cheese and delicious sauce!-Club Sandwich- fresh bacon, avocado and swiss cheese. Loved IT!The quality of this Mexican food is as good as top Mexican restaurants and the prices are about 2/3 cheaper!"
"Convenience at its finest. Whether you're stopping in to buy a drink, a random chocolate bar, or a can of Spam, J's has you covered. The employees are friendly, the inventory is well-supplied, I can't ask for anything more. City Market is just down the street but I find that place a bit sketch. J's will always be my top choice."
"Surprisingly delicious! This place would have gotten a 5 star if they were faster. But no biggie, great sandwiches and good prices."
"This is the gas station closest to my house. I come here a lot. It has a redbox outside. They sell gas for a few cents cheaper than the places up the road. Gas can definitely be found cheaper elsewhere. We get beer here a lot. They do have a nice variety. I also find some of the wines to be reasonably priced. People are friendly enough. Its open 24 hours. There's a bathroom outside."
"I grew up riding my bike to this former 7-11. I think the name is actually from the previous owner, a pretty nice lady named Ronnie? I stopped in a little while back to see if she was still working. But, not so much, this place has gone the way of the random knives and knick knack sales at the counter. If you need stuff that you would ordinarily find at 7-11, you can find it here."
"The 50th st Maket is back! After a long awaited (well, by me anyway) hiatus, they reopened last week under "new management." Everything looks pretty much the same, thank god. I need a market in my neighborhood that is not corporate. (Other choices are Shell, QFC, and 7-11.) Sure, it's really just a market and some things are a little more expensive than the grocery store. BUT, I'm supporting local business, the new employees/owners are nice and friendly (I got free gum!), and it's 2 blocks from my house. When I need emergency beer, wine, or ice cream, this is the spot. They have an impressive selection of micros and wine for a small market also."
"This was a pleasant find and it ain't no regular mini market. When I first stepped inside, at first it did feel like just another mini mart with the usual junk snacks, mainstream beverages, and basic auto & household stuff. But just a look here, a glance there and you'll notice things that aren't common. My nifty find among their decent selection of regular and vegan goods was a Himalayan pink salt shaker (usually mini marts _might_ have a processed table salt or few). And then just when I thought I was ready to head out, the sweet timing of eavesdropping worked perfectly. I'd overheard a nice conversation the next aisle over with a customer and owner that mentioned a chai(!). Apparently, they serve chai on Fridays for customers?! Suh-weet! Unfortunately, while I'm sure it's probably really good, I stopped drinking milk from animals. If you try it, let me know how it is! They seem like wonderful people, as well.Just a hop, skip away from Mighty-O Donuts nearby; 2 trips in one, yes?"
"Stopping into Westlake Deli & Grocery was a quick in and out after a long hike. The service was friendly and helpful and they carried travel size ibuprofen which was perfect for what I needed. They do take cards but we ended up paying in cash because the price was so reasonable for the over the counter pain relief.A big thank you to to Westlake Deli & Grocery for being there when my tired legs needed you. Much appreciated!"
"H Mart on University Way is a tremendous resource, and has long been one of my favorites. Since the last time I was there, it has expanded to the entire second floor, and the many deli options across the street in the H Mart Grab & Go! Wonderful, wonderful selections in all three locations!"
"Live this spot for my bacon English muffins with fruit. Chicken wings or sandwich. Great menu & great prices. Staff is a little standoffish but they are a great spot to drop in"
"I'm not so sure about this place. Convenient? Yes. But that's their whole shtick!I was walking passed today and considered popping into the City Market just another block south. But... because I'm lazy, I decided not to walk that extra block. Prices here were steeper than I expected and when compared to their competition just a block away, they are pretty forgettable.I've read reviews about really negative experiences and it makes me hesitant to go back. I can't prove I was overcharged but I paid with a debit card and didn't get a receipt. In fact - you know those machines you use to enter your pin? Typically they reflect the price you are being charged before you enter your pin. This machine didn't. I thought twice about it and then decided just to enter my pin and leave. So... I'm not sure what exactly my total was or what I was charged for each item...Without the deli, the quality, or the variety of the place just a block away, I don't think I'll be going back. Heck... I could use the extra 2 min walk downhill to go elsewhere."
"I reserve my five star reviews for businesses that exceed expectations, not meet them. HP Corner Store is one of those places. It fills a need in the neighborhood for a limited selection of grocery items. They sell a mind boggling array of beers, lined up and looking fabulous and just begging you to buy them (there are singles!).They have a small deli with drinks, coffee, sandwiches and ice cream. And it was the first time in my life I've had a beer smoothie. I was unsure (as one would be) but tasting it changed my mind quickly. It's more of a beer granita than a smoothie but it was cold, sweet and tangy, a unique and wonderful taste.I know it's hard to get to this area with the bridge closure but this place is worth it. Support small business!"
"Been here quite a few times recently and I must say I love what has been done with this shop. New renovation has given this place a welcoming and modern feel. Inside they have everything you would expect to find in an convenience store and more. The new owners are super kind and are putting in work to make this place great!"
"Ran in to grab a drink. Not much of a selection when it comes to non-alcoholic beverages that aren't soda. Some of the cases are empty.Saw that all of the over-the-counter meds are stored behind the register.Cashier was all right."
"Nice enough "corner store" better stocked than a gas station grocery and busy enough nothing gets stale. Serves its purpose well."
"tiny grocer in caphill limited merchdise but always friendly and has the best tv i ever saw in a grocery store.."
"Sam rules. Slim rules and so does penny. If you need a snack or smokes or beer/wine this is the local spot. Easy, friendly, cheap. Booyacasha"
"I frequently work in this area and stop by here for a sandwich or gyro for lunch. The family who own and work here are very nice polite people who make delicious food that is very reasonably priced. I have eaten here many times and gotten sandwiches for the crew I work with and they too enjoyed them as much as I. The service and quality here far exceeds the nominal price and I would recommend it to anyone."
