"I've had the pleasure of going to Alder & Ash several times - but my most recent visit was for happy hour before an event nearby. Their happy hour seriously can't be beat. They have several $10 bar bites but my absolute favorite that I will sing from the rooftops about, is the Salmon Crispy Rice. It is SO good! And honestly, it's quite filling. Because I'm a glutton for it, I could seriously eat two plates but one plate alone does the job. They also have a selection of $10 wines on their happy hour menu and they're all from the PNW which is a nice touch. The overall vibe here is sleek, sexy, and perfect for a date night or gathering with friends! They have several other menu items that are tasty but if you're pressed for time and looking for a solid HH, look no further."
"What a cute spot! I worked here over lunch and absolutely loved the vibes. It has a really cool, modern feel, and was lively enough to be fun but chill enough to be a good spot to work. Our server was very helpful and kind. I am gluten free and they don't offer many gluten free options, but she asked the chef to make the nicoise sandwich as a salad and they were happy to do it. I would love to see them get in some gluten free bread and baked good options in the future. The salad was lovely, and so was my mimosa! Great service, ambiance, but could use a more inclusive menu."

"We came as a party of 2 on Wednesday night at 7:45 PM. We were able to be seated right away, and we enjoyed the view of the bar. We spent our time picking a tequila to try a shot of as we saw a few bottles we did not recognize. We ordered two cocktails-the Chi Le Gusta and the Lychee Guava Mezcalita. Both were wonderful-the Chi Le Gusta is spicy! It came with a roasted jalapeño and was delightfully smoky. I could have had many of these. The Lychee Guava mezcalita was very sweet-a little too sweet for me but still very good.We split the Cochinita Pibil, which was delicious. The slow cooked pork with the flakiness of the deep fried corn tortillas was wonderful. I loved their rice blend that this came with as well.My favorite was the Lasagna Azteca-this was smoky, saucy, savory and hearty. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The flavor and the texture was perfect. We also requested hot sauce. They brought us two made in house-their house made habanero hot sauce packed quite a punch, but I loved it. I felt the heat for awhile but in a good way. Their house red sauce was great too, but the habanero was my favorite. We ended the night with a shot of Insolito Tequila, which we enjoyed at the bar. I loved their flavors and their ambiance-I can't wait to come back!"
"I was really excited to try out Gold Bar and was really pleased that they created such a great place. This is in the location Dacha Diner used to be--but much different layout.Outside, they created a nice are with a couple of benches. I am not sure how often service gets out there, so you may want to go to the bar.The inside kind of eclectic, but also very cozy. As we entered, we were given a friendly greeting by the bartender and picked up some menus. There are many comfy couches and it is set up well for large groups. We started with drinks. I had something called a Pisco Punch and my friend had the Blood In, Blood out. Both were excellent with really complex flavors--I had not had anything like the Punch before. It was hard to pull out any specific flavors, but really tasty. When we went there it looked like they did not have the frier working yet, so the menu was a little limited. It is a nice menu with a lot of comfort food. We ended up having the hummus. It says it is a black eyed pea hummus, but not much different than chickpeas. The veggies were really great, particularly the cauliflower and asparagus. I am eager to go back and try the meatballs or pork belly sando. We will be back often and I hope many people give this place a try."
"Wow, I've been here a handful of times and I've never reviewed this place?? This place is down the street from my house and I always forget it's here. I really enjoy the food and service has always been great. I've been here during the week days and on busy football game days. Always a good time. If you sit in the front, it does get a bit chilly but there tables upstairs. Staff are friendly and always around. It's a sport bars. They're not mean but they do get busy haha. I recently had the brontosaurus wings and those were so good. Love that it didn't have such a strong vinegar taste. I also always randomly crave the seared broccoli and Brussels sprouts from here so it says a lot about their food."
"After a lovely dinner, the husband and I wanted a night cap before we went to see our movie. For clarity, I have been trying to get here since they opened. But they don't open until 4 and I was never in town at the right time but I was in luck tonight. We came in around 5 and the place only had a couple of patrons. It's dark and swanky with several places for couples to sit. We found a corner in the recessed sitting area and snuggled up while we looked over the small menu. The drink menu looked interesting and filled with classic and reinvited originals. I had an aviation and a Negroni and they were both delicious. The bartenders were spirited and fun and a master of their craft. Very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend this small and intimate establishment."
"Updating my review as they have implemented so many changes and I've finally curated my order down to my favorite dishes. Pro tip: if you come here on a weekend, try to get here before they open as food will take a while to come out and even longer when you're on the waitlist. I LOVE the radish cakes here. It is definitely fried with less dough and more radish creating the perfect ratio. The chicken feet is my favorite, so well seasoned and delicious. Don't pass on the shrimp rice rolls, they're so much better than the ones with the Chinese doughnuts in them. The eggplant with shrimp is another must as well. We also ordered the fish fillet plate the last time we were here and it's seriously so underrated and I would highly recommend. Ordering has been easier with their tablets so you never have to hunt a waiter down."
"What a fun date night! Great show and delicious food!I came for the Noir Thursday 6pm showing with my husband. They checked IDs upon entering and led us to our seat. We were seated along one of the runaways. We showed up around 5:20pm because it was our first time and we were planning on eating dinner there. Everyone was super friendly at the cabaret from our host to the performers, we enjoyed each interaction. Food: + Mac and Cheese gnocchi was so good and very filling! + pork chop - my husband got this and he enjoyed! Pork was nicely cooked and juicy. + gumbo - loved the flavor and the cheesy grits! I had to get a box to take the rest of my plate home because I got full. + pink chai latte - this was the perfect post meal drink that I enjoyed during the last part of the show. Show: Noir was very entertaining! All of the performers did an amazing job! There were 3 parts with 2 intermissions which was nice they split it up so you can order more things in between or take a restroom break. At the end of the show, you can tip the performers. I really appreciate that they do Venmo since I don't carry cash with me that often. Overall a wonderful experience!"
"3.5 Stars. Came on a Saturday evening. The menu had so much promise. Dumplings, baos, noodles, rice, and protein dishes - all my favorite things.Hits:-Soft Shell Crab Curry Fried Rice ($24) - Salty and delicious with lots of pieces of fried soft shelled crab.-Dan Dan Noodles ($16) - Super soft noodles in a flavorful sauce and minced pork.-Yunnan Ginger Mint Beef ($25) - I tried a few pieces and they were flavorful and succulent.Mixed/Okay:-Honey Walnut Prawn Buns ($10) - The table was raving over these but mine wasn't very flavorful.-Pork Belly Buns ($10) - Nothing too bad but I've just had better, more flavorful / fatty buns. And the pork was not as tender as I usually prefer.-Sichuan Pepper Tofu ($18) - These needed the dipping sauce it came with.Misses:-Chicken and Shitake Dumplings ($16) - these were somewhat disappointing :( It just lacked flavor. Loved the filling to wrapper ratio though.Nice portions. Staff was polite. Interior is trendy and stylish. Cocktail menu looked awesome too."
"If you're looking for a place that offers a nice view, huge portions of food and is by the beach area, Bay Breeze is a solid stop.Came here with a big group and overall, had a nice dining experience here. Things to note: - View: If you want a nice view of the sea, do recommend putting in a reservation and requesting this in advance. Totally worth the extra effort. - Service: Friendly staff! Our server definitely did a great job with accommodating my group as we had a couple of small kids. - Cocktails: Wowzer, these drinks pack a nice kick. Definitely recommend ordering one of the many yummy drinks on the menu. Well crafted and worth the taste.- Food: Overall, generous portion for the dishes and quality was excellent. The menu is quite extensive ranging from typical seafood to some Asian fusion style ones. So definitely take a look at all of the options. For me, had the pleasure to try: - Calamari: Sauce had a nice spicy kick to it surprisingly... pretty good overall - Sriracha Shrimp: Not too spicy but I love the broth! Very hearty and dipping the crispy calamari with this was a pretty good combo- Surf & Turf Salad: This thing was huge!!!! Loaded with super fresh veggies, juicy steak and plump shrimp, I was stuffed by the time I finished this dish. Definitely a shareable dish for those who aren't as hungry. Plus, the sesame sauce = sooo good. - Price: Very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you order."

Loved my happy hour experience here! I chose it because my friend and I were going to the paramount that evening for a show and this spot was around the corner. As soon as I arrived the hostess and bartenders were very welcoming and friendly.I quickly ordered some bites and a cocktail before the happy hour prices ended.Luckily the food came out quickly. I tried the veggie tempura, the fancy tots, and salmon fried rice. I really liked the salmon rice out of the apps I had. Then my friend and I split the pasta with bolognese. It did not disappoint!! The pasta was so fresh tasting and the sauce was delicious- I wanted to slurp it up! HahaAll in all, I would highly recommend this place for a swanky happy hour. The drinks were great as well! And I loved the ambiance.

Your new favorite brunch spot on the Eastside. Food is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the meatball sandwich, breakfast sandwich and seasonal mushroom quiche. Food was served in a timely manner even while the place was starting to get packed. Staff are friendly and inviting. The restaurant is family friendly with wide aisles, inclusive restrooms and changing tables. Love that this restaurant is female owned by a Newcastle native.

The first time I had Mexicuban was at an event catered by their catering-only White Center location. It was AMAZING and I was so excited when I found out about the walk in location in Renton. It lived up to the hype and beyond. I headed there with 3 of my friends and we each tried a different cocktail flight. The food was great, we each had something different and we shared chips and salsas that were authentic and had a hot personality to them. I can't wait to go back! I would be a regular here if I didn't live 30 minutes away :)

The ambiance of this spot is quite interesting - it went from pretty calm and chill one minute to music pumping and blasting in front of us the next. The seats inside are also arranged quite casually, so finding a corner to sit at can be a little awkward to arrange. We got a margarita which I believe had jalapeno in it, as well as the strawberry cocktail. The strawberry was definitely the favorite of the two - it had a very pleasant fruitiness to it that made the drink quite delicious. I wasn't the biggest fan of the jalapeno in the margarita, but it was still good to try.

This is everything you want in a local sports bar. 10/10. Not too big and not too small. Open to the outdoors on a beautiful day with indoor and outdoor seating. Quick friendly service. The inside made me feel like I was below deck on a pirate ship with the lighting and wood interior. They had an excellent alcohol selection. I got a cucumber jalapeño cider that I'm still thinking about. The menu has tons of options and we got wings that were solid. I'd like to try more things to get a better feel for it. This is definitely a place I will head to for a game or a drink in West Seattle.

Do you want to talk about premium coffee? Do you love barista craftsmanship? Do you hunger for a cozy cafe vibe? Then, good reader, Il Viale is your new temple of the magical Java bean!Nestled on 5th Ave. S. in Edmonds downtown near Ace Hardware, and buddy-buddy with the new Bar Americano, this elegant even, dare I write, romantic postage stamp-sized espresso bar comes from the fine folks who graced Edmonds with the wonderful Daphne's Bar on Main St. Il Viale's friendly, passionate staff offer a short menu of espresso drinks (reminding me of the cafe's in Florence, Italy) allowing you to choose between whole, non-fat, or oat milk. Hot chocolate is available for your little ones.Speaking of chocolate, the baristas slip you a square of chocolate with each drink order. As for the pastries, heeeeeere we go. Do you squeak at the mere presence of gluten? Do the spirits of spelt and durum laden in cinnamon rolls scream, "Eat me!" to your horror? You're in luck for Il Viale's pastry pastor has eeeexorciiiiiised the gluten demons on a couple of tasty selections -- thumbprint marionberry jam scones and chocolate muffins! But no fears, my fellow gluten eaters, Il Viale have a fantastic selection of croissants, cookies, and other goodies too! Get married to the ham and cheese croissant or the banana bread. You won't be disappointed! No doubt the pasty pastor can preside at your wedding. Congratulations, btw, I'm sure you two will be very happy. Let's talk about the vibe. You have your delicious coffee and pastry. You're ready to sit down and enjoy. During the summer, check out the outdoor seating. It's wonderful and spacious. During the colder months, or if you prefer that cozy vibe I espoused earlier, a few indoor tables are available. I loved the indoor experience--easy to chat with the baristas and ideal for one-on-one conversations with friends and loved ones. I look forward to many visits to Il Viale!
Visit Restaurant Page"My bestie and I popped into Poirier's for a pre-Christmas girl dinner and it was sooo good! I had never been before, but have been dying to try them since they opened.I arrived a little early, so of course had to try one of their holiday-themed cocktails. My eggnog espresso martini was fabulously delicious. (In fact, when my friend arrived, I might have actually ordered another!)We skipped appies and went right to the main course. I'm a big jambalaya fan and couldn't resist trying theirs. I was a little surprised when I ordered it and the server mentioned it takes half an hour to make - I wish they made note of that in the menu. I probably would have ordered something else had I known; but by now I was craving jambalaya so I was willing to wait!We enjoyed our cocktails while we waited for my jambalaya. When it arrived it was so delicious - hot and spicy and full of yumminess, including jumbo shrimp, sausage, and all the jambalaya goodness. My friend enjoyed her meal, too, and we ended the evening by sharing a bread pudding for dessert. Folks, this was an amazing dish - sweet, creamy, festive, hot, cold, topped with caramel, allllll the good things in one fantastic dessert.Service was great, too! This is a family-friendly spot so it was a bit loud (thanks to a nearby toddler) in our area; if I went back I might sit in the bar to cut down on any potential kiddo interruptions. I hope they bring back their low country boil menu again this summer as I'm dying to try it!"
"Monday in the island and it's a challenge to find many lunch spots open. Bloody Mary's were great..spice was on point and the pickled veggies were tasty and crunchy. Pulled pork sandwich was the perfect size and the bbq sauce was tangy and slightly sweet. I would have loved a side of pickles but that's me. The fries (gluten-free) were shoestring but still thick enough to taste the crispy salted to my taste potato's. Staff was great considering we opted to sit outside and the weather was turning."
"Matsu is one of the very few decent restaurants in Seattle that can accommodate large parties and does reservations. It has a very similar menu to Momiji and Umi (sister restaurants) with a bigger, more corporate feeling vibe. Service has always been great, and I end up here when I can't get a reservation at the other two on short notice. They also have a large bar area for happy hour, though you can get the happy hour menu at the regular tables as well. It's right by the stadium, so parking can be impossible if there's an event going on."
"Food is good here but restaurant is small/right. Parking was also stressful since you have to find parking on the street. While the food was tasty, I'm not sure it warrants another visit (or come out of your way to come here). The seating was tight and it felt very busy which also stressed me out a little seeing the service staff hurriedly drop off food at other tables around me.This restaurant is owned by the Jack's bbq owners."
"I have only had the pizza through DoorDash, but it stands on its own. The Mr. Pink is a unique flavor, and assuming the driver shows up while it's still hot (which can be an assumption), it is pretty good. Is it my favorite pizza ever? No, but it is solid and they have a lot of interesting combinations. It is a little pricey for what you get, but that could be a DoorDash thing anyway."
"When we arrived we were seated promptly. A server came our table and asked if we were ready and we asked them to give us a few minutes. They seemed pretty rude about it. We had ordered some margaritas and we wanted one salted and one with whipped cream, when it came out the salted and whipped cream was all in one and then the server proceeded to blame me and said didn't you want all that and I said no we specifically asked for one with salt and the other one with only whipped cream. She seemed to have an attitude towards us, we really just wanted to add whipped cream to the one that didn't we didn't ask them to remake it. The food was ok. It was all very big portions. I had the chicken mole and it wasn't the typical mole I am used to. It was definitely spicy. We had ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son on the kids menu and it was very hard. The cheese was not very good.Probably the worse thing was when we were leaving they were emptying out their septic tank or something. It was so disgusting and horrible to smell right after eating. I can't imagine anyone having an appetite when smelling that while entering the restaurant."
"Love Love Love coming here. Maybe because it's a comfort place. But still Love coming here. If you go and Nathan is working, ask to sit in his area and tell him Denice said Hi. If you're a person of color and want to support a brother, ask to sit in Nathan's area. Haven't had anything yet that I haven't enjoyed on the menu. And I enjoy trying the different non-IPA beers. Most seating is communal, long connected tables that utilizes the space the best and supports connection. There's some bar seating and outdoor seating. It's a family-friendly place and it's busy and loud as hell in the Winter season. I'm not the only person who loves this place. Vegans and vegetarians can find something but won't have a lot of options. I came back once when I was overcharged but didn't notice it right away. They immediately corrected the mistake without making me prove anything or feel like a criminal. Zero drama. I really appreciated that. This is a Community Place and in the beginning not being a regular season pass holder I definitely felt like an "outsider". Even though I only get there half a dozen times a year, I now feel super comfortable there even solo. Some of the servers actually remember me - even with the hundreds and hundreds of people who dine there annually. It's that kind of place."
"I noticed the obscure Cottontail a couple of months ago walking down 4th Avenue. A sign warned that Cottontail was arriving soon. WTF? However, it was enough to pique my interest. Initially, I found zip on the internet, but then facts came drifting in morsel by morsel. Cottontail is a new bar that took over an old spot and reopened, with its entrance on the alley between Blanchard and Bell and 3rd and 4th. That's less than a block from my place, and my presence was required. These folks also run the Rabbit Hole in Belltown, and I believe Bathtub Gin.Last night I was able to stop in, and am I glad I did. This is an eclectic watering hole, welcoming an array of humanity. It was refreshing to be amongst every possible subculture Seattle maintains. I was the oldest cat in the bar, but no one cared. Bryce, the Minot, North Dakota native was my barkeep, and he handled my annoying questions with panache. The atmosphere would be called "speakeasy," but it's just comfy and welcoming. Everyone was friendly, and I had a great time, leaving after three drinks with a big shit eating grin on my face. Despite the cold temperatures, I was toasty. The Cottontail is a unique lounge for this area in Belltown. Welcome to the hood."
"This restaurant was beside our hotel. So we gave it a try. Went on a Monday night it wasn't busy. We got a table right away. The lady on the front was very welcoming. We waited for a while until she took our order. The food was excellent. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was delicious. Somewhat over priced. My wife ordered the fajitas and it was also tasty. Love the Spanish music they were playing. But a little too loud. Overall it was a satisfying meal."
"Family friendly clean restaurant if you happen to crave for pizza, wings and pasta in one place. We ordered half order of ceasar salad, appy platter, and medium size garlic creamy chicken pizza. The Appy platter has 4 half south west rolls, 6 pcs boneless Buffalo chicken, 3 meatball no marinara sauce, 4 pcs jalapeno poppers. They surprisingly taste pretty good, kinda pricey..it's $30 for the platter. They have 2 section area, the bar area and the restaurant side. From the greeter, to the servers, they are very nice and happy. I love when they are happy and smiley, it makes the whole atmosphere so light and better when you eat. Our server is very helpful. We asked for marinara sauce for the meatballs and other dipping sauces for the boneless chicken. The restaurant side was kinda empty, the bar side has few people. Plenty of parking considering they located by the mall."
"Such a fun and cute spot! Met my friend here for HH and to catch up on work and life. Wasn't crowded when we arrived but def filled up as we were leaving. Our server was so cute and always checked in when walking around. I ordered mango habeñero wings and he got ceviche since he just had his ortho visit. Couldn't really eat anything too hard. My wings were tender and very flavorful. Wasn't spicy but that's okay. Drinks were on the stronger side. Will probably be back in the future as it's only a few min away from the office."
"This was a quick stop after a long hike. It's nicely located in the small town of north bend next to mount Si. The BLT had huge thick slices of bacon. Kids' pepperoni pizza was big and tasty. The clam chowder, however, was disappointing. I don't recommend ordering it. Server was sweet and attentive. The restaurant is big with lots of tables and open areas. I bet it's great to come here for dinner. Wouldn't mind stopping in again when in the area."
"I have been to their Seattle location and this one is not much different. We made reservations for 2 for a Sunday dinner just in case, which is a good call since it was fairly busy. Regardless there were still tables open, even though it was Father's Day so the restaurant was a bit busier than usual. We got the yakitori combo and seafood combo, 2x of 4 items per order, as well as the garlic beef skewer a la carte (2 skewers per order), so a total of 18 skewers for 2 people, which is a good amount for a nice meal. We also got various cocktails but I liked the Yuzu Mojito a lot. For the skewers, the scallops and the garlic beef are the standouts, but everything else were solid and up to my expectations."
"A Caribbean-Trinidadian restaurant with through-the-roof flavors, a confusing ordering system, and an owner who makes you feel like family. It wasn't at all crowded during dinnertime on a Friday night and strangely, they had limited amounts of each dish so many things were already out or not available. As others have mentioned, the multistep ordering system through the app seemed like an unnecessary hassle. The waitress ended up taking care of us at the end. But the food was worth it!We ordered a goat curry and a jerk chicken sandwich. The curry was too salty but so deliciously flavorful, and the sweet coconut fry bread of the sandwich blew our socks off and brought out the rich spicy meat perfectly. I've also heard great things about their rum punch! And I love that it's family owned. In the middle of our meal the owner called to all of us to "Get the shrimp, it's really good!" Everyone was having a great time and we felt very welcome. My one complaint is that this one entree and sandwich cost almost $60. While delicious, the price was a stretch for the moderate portion sizes and homey atmosphere. However, we had a great experience and I am happy to support Pam's."
"We were in the city this weekend to attend an event in SODO, and lunch was calling our name. We were traveling via Link so we hopped off on Capitol Hill and headed to Olmstead. I have no regrets!I was worried they'd be busy at the height of the Saturday brunch/lunch rush, but we were able to get a seat immediately and near the open-air portion of the space. This made for some great Broadway people watching while we sipped our beers and awaited lunch. We shared their house salad, which was huge, fresh and adorned with sweet, roasted hazelnuts. We also split what is, apparently, their legendary chicken burger with what I'm pretty sure is the best fried chicken breast I've ever had. The coating was thick, crunchy, and sublime with its subtle spices. It was adhered to a giant, tender, and equally delicious chicken breast, and served atop a fresh bun with all the fixings. The plate was also full of some tasty fries that were similar in style to those served at local Dick's burgers chain - but way better tasting, crispier, and far less greasy. Our server, Miles, was friendly and attentive, and after our meal we got a little tour of the restaurant and their other cool spaces by another employee who was super friendly but I didn't get his name. In the back is their garden room, which they use for a variety of fun events, as well as a full bar which looked like a great spot to grab a drink (or a bloody mary, which I will definitely be wanting to indulge in on my next visit).I can see why this is a popular spot for brunch, and I feel fortunate we somehow snuck in between rushes of hungry patrons!"
"We came in on Sunday night for happy hour :) We came at around 5:00 and enjoyed some amazing food and drinks. Here is what I had: The Blood Diamond: this mezcal drink is incredible! It is sweet, salt and smoky in perfect harmony. This was so good and the right amount of sour.Mezcal margarita: I ordered this on impulse and it did not disappoint. This margarita packed a mezcal punch, and the tajin on the top really made this pucker (in a good way). Truffle fries-pure indulgence. Their lemon aioli was really packed with zing, and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crisp. Extra points for a really fun presentation! Casio E Pepe-this is a cheese and black pepper noodle lover's dream. This was creamy and wonderful, and it was a shame to share with anyone. Southern Buttermilk Fried Chicken- This came with rosemary cornbread with honey glazed on the top. This chicken was fried but not greasy-very savory with the right amount of sweet.I enjoyed all these foods with hot sauce (Cholula). Our waiter was wonderful-he made great recommendations, and the Herb & Bitter is simply beautiful to look at. They have QR codes at the tables to scan for their menus. I loved their bar with the gold big cat statues. We felt like we could come as we were-we were dazzled as walk ins and next time we will be making a reservation! We could not have had a better time."
"Nue has a very eclectic menu if you want to try something new or stick with a variation of a classic. The ambiance matched the menu and there's lots of different art and knick knacks along the wall. Service was not bad as well.South African bunny chow: the cure was reminiscent of a Japanese curry and delicious overall with the bread bowl. No complaints here.Portuguese peri peri chicken sandwich: juicy delicious chicken sandwich with a hint of spice. The meal overall had no issues and was a nice change to a standard item.Overall, a restaurant that stands out with a wide variety of options. I will definitely be back!"
"I was up in Bham recently hanging out for a friend's bday and we decided to go to JUXT. Wow, what a cool place! I love that they have cocktail flights so I could try a few different things. My man and I shared a flight and it was a great opportunity to taste their innovative drink offerings. We also shared a plate of their nachos, and nibbled on our friends' cheese curds and fries - all of which were delicious. Most impressive was the service! We were there during their busy happy hour time, but our server was so prompt and patient with us too (since we couldn't decide what to order). Drinks came out a little slower than I would have liked, but I think it was because they were busy. Looks like they also have a good taplist, so next time I'm out on the town in Bham I might stop here for a brew instead of a cocktail.Great addition to downtown Bham!"
"Came here for dinner and everything was fantastic! From the service to the unlimited chai, and delicious food! Parking - good size lot, easy to find We made reservations in advance but they had tables open so I think walking in for dinner on a weekday would have been fine. Ambiance is great for any occasion! We loved it for our dinner date before heading to the movies! Service - wonderful! They always made sure my chai cup was filled and they were all very attentive and friendly which made the experience here really great. Food + mango lassi - delicious! + chai tea - unlimited refills - I will come back just for this! + butter lamb - this sauce was so good! + saag paneer - loved it! + garlic naan - biggest I've ever seen! + kheer rice pudding was a great way to end the meal! My husband and I loved the ambiance and food. We will definitely be back again!"
"It upsets me that this place has a low rating because I think it's the best sushi restaurant in Capitol Hill. Sashimi quality for its quantity is so worth it.It has a cute shoes-off seating area for bigger parties. It's also the only place where I can get a little bit of everything I want in a bento box for only $25. Happy Hour from 4-6pm: worth it, never busy!"
"This is a great lunch spot in Fremont. My eyes quickly went to the lunch sets, which are only served Monday-Friday. We each got the Pork Belly Curry Lunch Set and shared the Bread Crumb Shrimp Cakes. All were delish and priced at $15 each. Kin Len is a sister restaurant to Isarn. For a Friday, it was a busy lunch crowd with no wait. I would recommend parking a block or 2 away from the restaurant where there is free 2 hour parking. It looks like they have a great selection at happy hour. Service was prompt and friendly. It is a little weird that the entrance and waiting area is in it's own separate area. There's not great flow here."
