"We knew we could find some good Chinese in Tacoma and this spot was the one many recommended on the site. We got there and were seated right away. We have our dishes put in play and I was happy with all but one of them. It basically came down to flavor and the broccoli beef and veggie fried rice were good, but the chicken chow mein lacked flavor. The veggies in the dish were light and didn't help bring it together, but other than that, I was pleased with the amount of food that my girlfriend and I shared. We were looked after well and the owner was a nice guy."
"Stopped in for a late lunch, my other half wanted to eat stone pot rice..he ordered the slice pork and Chinese sausage rice bowl, I ordered Chinese flat rice noodle soup ( haw fun) with beef tripe and duck with a fish broth and Napa cabbage,.This was the first time I ordered this broth. We also ordered pan fried dumplings with pork and chives. The noodle soup 5/5. The.broth was delicious, very memorable! Generous amount of tripe tooThe stone pot rice dish 3/5. Rather bland. Not what he remembers. The dumplings were okay. Lots of meat filling, but I thought too much chives. The chives overpowered the meat. Not a good balance . We are happy this restaurant survived the COVID 19 pandemic, it was 6 years since our last visitRecommend this restaurant, especially for their noodle soups, you can customize your order choose from a large selection of toppings, broths, noodles veggies, etc"
"Really good food at this new spot in Chinatown! The duck was well cooked and super juicy, look at the photos!! The har gow was well made and had full chunks of shrimp in it. The shu mai also had whole pork pieces in it making for a really good texture. The beef chow fun was perfectly cooked and made. I taste the right amount of wok hei and the beef was velveted well. Service was extremely friendly and nice. I'll definitely come back here!"
"Don't come here on Saturday and Sunday. It's so busy! You'll still get your food but know you gotta wait. I had my dinner on a Tuesday night, so I didn't have to wait long, beside had to listen to my toddler's nonsense screaming lol! Each plate is literally shareable between 2-3 people. I'd say 2 people on average. I had to pack the rest of food to go because I couldn't finish them all! My toddler enjoyed the crispy egg rolls and noodles very much."
"We came in as a party of four on a Saturday afternoon with no reservation. We were seated within 10 minutes. We loved their decor and their house tea! We enjoyed chatting and sipping our tea while we waited for our foods. My favorite dishes we enjoyed were the chive and shrimp dumplings, the calamari and the lotus rice. The medley of foods and flavors was delightful. I would come again!"
"This place is so good and cheap!!I met up with a friend here and ordered a shrimp rice roll dish, fried pork buns, sweet soy milk, salt and pepper tofu and egg custard buns. While I loved everything, my two favorite dishes were the salt and pepper tofu and the shrimp rice roll dish. The tofu inside the crispy salt and pepper shell was so soft and fresh... I was floored. The taste of the shrimp rice roll dish was very yummy.Remember - this place is CASH ONLY!!"
"I've been coming to 663 Bistro for several years now, maybe near the time they first opened. This is a very honest assessment. I like their food. 5 Stars! I don't like their service, even at a "local Chinese" level. Yikes. In the past, when I had dine-in service, it was 'ok', depends on who's there. Today's take-out - very cranky people, just mostly stared at us. 2 stars.Their restaurant - it's a dump. 2 stars.Prices - 5 stars. Seriously. One of the best bargains and almost a secret. Even within the ID, their prices are amongst the best deals and portions are generous!Today's take-out:- Roasted Pork with Tofu over Rice - Large portion, delicious, lots of goodies.- Seafood Pan Fried Vermicelli - Large portion, this is my favorite dish in the entire menu. Great Chinese food has that wok 'scent'. This dish has it!- Curry Seafood, HK Style - Also generous portion with lots of seafood! I eat this over a serving of broccoli to make this healthier!During this COVID-19 period, please help out the ID and buy from one of these restaurants that are still open. 663 Bistro is one of them!"
"Came here yesterday with the family. It was hard to review it because the food itself some were really good and some were just horrible. The neighborhood is absolutely horrendous and gross. Huge population of homeless in the back of the store. Litter is everywhere including mattresses. The footballs amazing and a must get. The shumai and hagao is gross as hell. The egg custard filling was spot on but crust was nasty and falling Apart every-time you try to put it in your mouth. Beef Tripe and daikon cake has no flavor. Fried shrimps were surprisingly delicious. Tea was good.Overall, more bad than good food."

Came home from a flight too late for our normal dinner and decided to go out at 7:35PM. First place we tried closed in 20 minutes but Mandarin Kitchen was open until 8:30PM. We ordered 2 individual dinners, one with Mongolian Beef and one with Kung Pao chicken. Soup came out almost immediately along with one glass of wine. As always, the glass was full for $7.50. Both dinners arrived quickly and after eating our fill, there was enough left for lunch the next day so we got a box. We were out of there in 40 minutes. The place is a bit dim and sterile but the food and service are always great and very fast. This is a neighborhood gem we continue to return to again and again. Owner seems to be there all the time and is always friendly.

The food is made to order and is served in a giant portion. On arrival you are given a hot tea and a menu. If you go for the noodles you get to:1. Choose broth2. Choose noodle type3. Choose veggies4. Choose a protein This restaurant is nice for a quick lunch solo or with friends. This is my second visit and I will keep coming back!

We were the first customers in the morning and had the entire place to ourselves! We didn't want to order too much since we were eating around Chinatown, so we just got Siu Mai, Cheung Fun, and Har Gow. A nice man gave us hot tea and was very friendly. He played Chinese documentaries on the large TV. The restaurant was decorated in red for the mid-August festival. Food took about 15-20 minutes, he apologized for the wait and explained it took longer since it was fresh. Definitely didn't mind and so worth it! Everything was super yummy and totally hit the spot! Highly recommend, one of my favorite spots in Seattle!

Delicious food!! Ordered their duck, sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper fish and Singapore noodles. The best sweet and sour pork I've ever had!! The people are also very nice working there. Our new go to take out place.

Under new Management and new chefs; I heard from a friend who is also a great chef told me that the food here now improved so much. Everything tastes very authentic and flavorful (not too sweet and not too salty); We love everything especially Dim Sum, Cooked Food, and Peking Duck! All the seats arrangements and services are great.. all decorations are cleaned and comfort not over crowded at all and nice lighting - we love the decor and the tv's showing Chinese Street Foods are very awesome touches!!
Visit Restaurant Page"Ooo I was passing through Issaquah on my way to an event & saw this dim sum spot while driving. On our way back we had some extra time and stopped in. When I tell you this is a honey hole for dim sum I'm not lying. The service was so nice, the restaurant was clean & the prices were unbeatable! I loved how the staff was eating family style together. It made my heart warm to see that. All of the servings were very generous and the flavor was perfectly matched. I can't wait to go back!"
"Canton Wonton House was a roadtrip lunch for us. We decided to try them because they offered sui kau (dumplings). Sui kau (Cantonese style dumplings) is something that has been discontinued in most Southern California restaurants. So, when my wife and I saw it on their menu, we had to try it. I ordered one sui kau noodle, and a sui kau noodle with beef tendon. The sui kau were filled with pork, shrimp and wood ear mushrooms. They were a little smaller than what we have tried recently in Vancouver and New York, but, they had both a good texture and taste. The tendons were also some of the smallest that I've seen. But, they were braised until tender. They were delicious in my bowl of noodles. The noodles were nice and al dente. It seemed like a mom and pop shop with the kids at the back table Service was good with the woman (mom) taking my order. Although the food did taste good, my wife does prefer bigger sui kau. Canton Noodle House was a good stop for me during the roadtrip and was another reason why I didn't have to stop at McDonalds."
"Sorry T&T it's been a while since the mid rating. There's a reason it's constantly packed on the weekends. Looking back, I feel like I was too critical for the wrong reasons. We all know service at Chinese places differs greatly but it's not intentionally negative, just the culture. Best dim sum north of Seattle for sure.Anyway, considering all the times I come here, I feel like my old opinion is inadequate. Last reviews of food is all the same, but my scale has definitely changed, especially considering the holistic user experience."
"It haven't been here for so many years and after so many owners. Now, the beef noodle is tasty with wok chi. Sweet n sour pork rib is on par in sweetness and crunchiness. Portion size is on the smaller size from CID. Dinner with seafood is a good option here."
"Went here for Lunar New Year with 24 people in our party. Service was prompt, great people, amazing food. Authentic and festive. Our first time eating here and will be back again!"
"Our first Cantonese food/noodle joint on our Seattle adventure. 4.5 stars for flavor, 3 stars for value, and 3.5 stars for portion size.....so that averages out to 4.We stopped at 3 of the top Cantonese-style noodle houses in Seattle and ordered beef brisket and wonton noodle soup (it's like a go-to dish at these simple Chinese diners) at each place.Finding ourselves in South Seattle, this shop was convenient. It was pricier than the places in International District which was surprising since you'd think rent would've been less. The noodle was spot-on though a bit skimpy for the large bowl. A total of 9 large won ton/ siu kau came with the large bowl, and 8-9 pieces of beef brisket were in the large bowl of noodle soup. The beef brisket was lean and lacked deep flavor. The noodle soups were good, not great and we were still hungry afterwards, so not a good value. The mall where this diner was located is looking run down and uninviting. If you're in the area, and hankering chinese noodle soup, maybe stop by, but not my first choice in Seattle."
"Came by for some buns before the train. It was fresh and quick. I especially liked the large chicken bun which had a nice mix of textures and flavors. The roast pork bun was just a bit sweet for me. The pan fried pork bun wasn't very fried but had a good filling. Totally adding this to me list of train travel go-tos!"
"Harmony Palace is a new-ish eatery (several months opened) in the Chinatown portion of International District, replacing Fortuna 2.0. They cover primarily breakfast and lunch, with an official closing time at 5pm. We were snooping at 4:55, and they waved us to enter. The staff was having their end-of-day meal, but they asked us to sit down anyway. The lady said it's fine because they would have been working in the back anyway. From what I can tell, it's a very small team where the owners are there with their sleeves rolled up. We ordered extra, extra to have leftovers and to make their extended time worthwhile. The food is basic homey quality, tasty, with generous portions, and very reasonably priced. Their menu is closer to a Hong Kong Style Café, aka cha chaan teng, with dim sum added. There's a bit of everything. Being newly remodeled, they have an "Excellent" rating from King County for food safety handling rating. I must admit that is uncommon for CID and is a pleasant surprise to see here. The Food:Ha Gow, aka Shrimp Dumpling, $5.95 - 5 Stars Generously sized and tasty. This item is a win.Siu Mai - aka Fish Roe & Pork Shui Mai, $5.50 - 4 StarsAlso generously sized, this is very good but not great. Some restaurants do their pork mixed with shrimp and Chinese mushrooms for a more complex flavor profile and texture. Theirs is more in the normal category. Tomato Beef over Rice, $11.75 - 4.5 StarsThe serving size is huge! This dish is easily two servings for most people. Very tomato-y and good chucks of beef. Shrimp Chow Mein, $11.95 - 4 StarsFor the price, there aren't too many shrimps, which is understandable. I genuinely don't mind. I like the thin egg noodles they used. The dish is not oily, nor are the noodles lumped together. It sort of lacks wok hei, but the noodles weren't lifeless. I thought it was a very good dish overall. The portion is comfortable. Someone might be able to finish it, if it's the only thing they ordered. Mixed Mushrooms Cheung Fun, aka rice roll, $6.25 - 3.5 Stars The rice wrap is a bit off in the texture. I can't put a description on it exactly, maybe a bit on the gelatinous side and needs to be a bit limper. People who know cheung fun will know what I'm trying to say. On the flip side, this is one of the most well stuffed cheung fun ever. Lots of mushrooms!Shrimp Spring Rolls, $5.50 - 5 StarsThis was another gem. Well stuffed pieces of crispy fried spring rolls with lots of shrimps. This is the version I grew up and happy to see it again. Note the color of them (see photo); it's relatively light color. When the food is crispy, that means the oil isn't excessively used. It's a good thing.Phoenix Claws, aka Steamed Chicken Feet, $5.50 - 3.5 StarsLove them or hate them or don't want to have anything to do with them, HKers love these. The color is a tad light, and the flavor is a touch on the mild side. Maybe they need to use dark soy? Not sure. Hong Kong style Milk Tea, Iced, $3.95 - 3 StarsThis is just ok. I like my HK milk tea with a stronger tea flavor."
"Was craving some kind of noodle soup, so we came here for dinner. We ordered a couple snacks, two noodle soups, and two drinks. The Popcorn Chicken was really good and nicely-seasoned; didn't even need dipping sauce, although I did dip in their chili oil. The Pork & Shrimp Wonton w/ Chili Oil was my favorite thing out of what we ordered. Might be the best chili oil wontons that I've had. The Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and the Pork Knuckle Noodle Soup were both really good. They were way bigger than I expected and lots of meat. We were full and did not finish our noodles. I ordered two drinks to-go: Watermelon Juice with boba and Grapefruit Green Tea with crystal boba. Both were good. The only thing that I didn't love here was the boba; the texture was a bit too mushy for me."
"Pretty pricy but they prob deserve it! :) Make sure its fresh before leaving!! I love coming here to get take out and then grocery shopping and grabbing it on my way out!"
"LOL I only came here for two things .... their crispy honey walnut prawns which were amazingggggg and their hot cup of horlick :) Customer service was great and friendly. Place was clean and organized as well. I will definitely be back here when I am in Seattle again !"
"Best location for barbecue meats and owners are super sweet. You can tell by the photo how juicy and soft the chicken looks.Opened daily 10am- 7:30pm except for Monday's. My family come all the way from Burien to buy it even though it's out of the way because it's that good. Not much of a eat in place but there is a lot of seating as well."
"I came into town for a conference and wanted something different from my usual Duke's meals...I found China Harbor and decided to take the bus to get some Chinese food, little did I know it was this giant black building I had seen in the past and almost joked that it was a surprising Chinese food place (that i had never been to before)-- waterfront and all!I got seated by a window overseeing the boats in Lake Union while the rain fell.I ordered the Imperial Duck and the Pan Fried Noodles with Seafood. The noodles came out piping hot, a piece or two of the squid was a scoche chewy but the scallops and shrimp were just right. Crispy noodles drowned in the gravy and soaked up all the flavor and the bok choy perfectly cooked with a slight crispiness left to it. The only thing I would change is less squid (there was a lot) and maybe replace with some fish instead. The imperial duck - amazing. This was the first time I'd had it with glazed lemon slices and peanut butter-hoisin sauce. They even provided chives, cilantro, radish strip and cucumber - what a heavenly combo. I ate half there and took the rest back to my hotel I was so full and my belly was so happy.Servers were extremely nice and friendly, I will definitely be back with family to get more imperial duck next visit!!"
"Man, I don't know if I can trust you guys anymore. Three stars? Really?!?Just got home from a trip and decided to do take out since I don't have much food in the house. A friend mentioned that she was going to get dim sum tonight, and it got the gears rollin' ...In my area, I only had two places open to pick from when I searched for dumpling. One only had Potstickers, but Jade had all the options. I was reluctant after reading the reviews, but then I read the comments on Jade from the guy who said he's Chinese AND from the San Francisco area, and HE said it was the BEST he's had. So, I went for it.Without exaggeration, the Shui Mai was EASILY the best I've ever had in my life. Probably my favorite of everything I got. The pan fried potstickers are unforgettable. The only place I've ever had any even comparable was at Journey's East up in Tulalip. The pork and peanut dumplings had me a little suspicious at first, but one bite of the perfect filling was all I needed to be convinced. The bok choy buns were fantastic, doughy, not at all greasy, and like little pillows of Heaven on Earth. You all are going to have to trust me and San Fran Man on this one. This is no three star joint. FIVE ENORMOUS STARS, all the way. I'm SO STOKED I found Jade Garden!"
"Mediocre food, lackluster service. $1.25/person for tea. No wait at 10:30AM on a Saturday. My favorite thing about Lucky House is the carts with food already available - one has steamed items and one has fried and baked stuff. However, none of the dishes I usually get at a dim sum restaurant (Siu Mai, Steamed Bean Curd Roll, BBQ Pork Bun, Custard Bun) stood out; all were just alright. We spent a little over $60 for 2 adults and 3 kids, which isn't cheap, especially for the food quality."
"Insane. Insanely good. Wow I can't wait to go back, this place is just amazing!Price - super reasonable especially if you come for lunch they have lunch specialsFood - addictive, the crispy pork is good but their char siu (roast pork) is the star. Nice crispy edge, not too fatty, and just explosion of flavorCome for the charsiu. Stay for the cholesterol!"
"Really good Chinese food and free parking! Came here early evening on a Sunday and the place was practically empty. Has a nice old school Chinese restaurant vibe. All of the food was really good. We went back for seconds on the bbq pork chow mein and the wings. Peking duck with the pinch buns was really good too. They also have a full bar which we appreciated. I'd say the only downside was the service wasn't great. Had to flag down our server for more rounds of drinks and water. She seemed distracted and didn't check on us much, even though we were literally 1 of 3 seated tables in the place. Overall, our group really enjoyed the meal. I'd like to come back for dim sum soon!"
"This was one of the best noddle soups I've ever had! No exaggeration! This is a decent size restaurant, cash only. I ordered the beef noodle and wonton soup. A large size was shareable depending how hungry you are. The wontons were very good and the beef very flavorful. They serve you tea at no extra charge. People come and go very fast, you feel a bit rushed,'z they brought out check almost right after the food. Very generous amounts for the price. You must stop here when you are in Seattle's Chinatown!"
"With our hotel providing us evening appetizers, we didn't really need much for dinner. Not knowing the area, we Yelped the Chinese restaurants in the area. This sounded like a great place for roast duck. The problem? When we arrived, they ran out. But, with a vast menu of things we like, we were able to order half a chicken, and their soft egg with beef chowfun. The soft egg with beef chowfun was just like the stuff my wife and daughter likes in Southern California. It basically is a beef chowfun with a eggy sauce with peas and carrots. They said the flavoring was good, though I have never been a fan of it. The chicken was poached. The green onion oil gave the chicken a great good taste. We had so much food that we couldn't finish it all. May May Hong Kong BBQ was a nice find for us. Their menu is pretty vast and the food we ordered was good. 4 stars."
"Honey char siu was my favorite. I tried the shoyu chicken and it was dry. Wouldn't recommend. I liked the combo of the rice with the honey char siu. The rice was cooked well and had a bit of sauce on it.I would come back just for the char siu."
