"Wanna be a big kid in a candy store? This is the place! So many treats here! Reminds me of that little shop in Willy Wonka. They had almost everything in there! They had grape bubble gum too and for me personally, I cannot find grape bubble gum anywhere! They also have fudge for all you fudge lovers! They make it fresh Monday's. I am not a fudge person but she asked if I'd like to sample some flavors and there were some I really love. They even have truffles! There's so many to choose from. Customer service is very pleasant. I loved the atmosphere in there. Every adult was just like another big kid wanting to buy some interesting candy."
"Funny story - back in the day my sister used to live in the apartment above Amy's shop. The smell of fresh made truffles, caramels and fudge constantly made it's way upstairs and we've been frequenting Amy's wonderful shop ever since. She offers gourmet caramel apples, individual truffles, brittle, barks and turtles by the pound, chocolate covered strawberries and locally sourced seasonal caramel popcorn during the summer months. Parking can be tricky on a unique small corner but Amy is always in the shop happy to greet and assist customers. They do offer a few small tables inside but I'm usually in and out with my box full of goodies which have 100% become tradition for holidays and special occasions."
"I spent like 30 minutes in their candy store. I did sample fudge and bought fudge. They have so much candy. The fudge was delicious. They also have specialty chocolates. They also sell Seattle chocolate. The price is about right for a shop like this. I bought three different types of fudge for $14. The staff was friendly and patient. Do check out their sales rack. You can find good treasures"
"ROYCE' Chocolate is the best chocolate in the world (yes I know that is a bold statement and yes I stand by that). If you ever visit Japan, this is one of those food items you must purchase and bring back home for family/ friends (and for yourself). It is hard for me to describe their chocolate (I am just talking about their chocolates, not their snacks), but it is creamy and smooth that melts in your mouth. The flavors of their chocolate is just the right balance that you can savor even after you finished a piece of it. With such an experience (every time I have their chocolate), I purchase Royce' chocolate regularly back at home. But because I was shopping at Uwajimaya (which is inside the market), I decided to check them out, thinking it would be nice for me to pick up a box of my favorite chocolates for a friend that we will be visiting in the next few days. When my husband and I entered the store (with our shopping card and grocery items, lol) we were greeted by a friendly sales associate. He asked us if we would like a sample of one of their featured chocolates. We both got a real tiny piece (I have had samples at other Royce Chocolate stores and their samples are significantly larger). Then I was told about the current holiday specials that they had (a few of their holiday specials were on their assorted cookies/ chocolates, etc). I wasn't too sure if my friend would like those items and decided it was best to purchase her a box of my favorite Royce Chocolate, which is from their Nama chocolate collection. I ended up purchasing:Nama Chocolate "Rémy Martin", $21.99- I have not tried this particular flavor before but was told by the sales associate that this has a higher amount of alcohol (double the amount) used, then compared to their other chocolates. I was thinking this would be a nice gift for my friend. Nama Chocolate "Matcha", $19.98- I decided to also pick up myself a box too since I was already here (lol, why not). I have not tried their matcha flavor and so I picked this. But I decided that I would bring both this flavor and the other flavor to my friend's house and let her try both (to introduce her to the world of this beautifully made chocolate) and let her decide which flavor she would prefer (and then this way I can also try both flavors, lol). ------------------------- (Total= $41.98)Initially (before I had decided to let my friend try both flavors), the sales associate helping me wrapped one of the boxes up for me and placed the chocolate in a cute special red bag (complementary wrapping). After I paid for my purchase, I asked the sales associate if he could validate my parking. Please note that if you have never been to Uwajimaya, parking is not free. Parking cost $7.50 for the first hour, $15 for 2-3 hours and then $22 for 3 hours. However, if you make a purchase of $10 (whether it be at the market or any of the businesses in the market), you get the first hour for free (with validation) and a purchase of $20 will get you up to 2 hours for free (with validation). If I lived in the area, I would most likely be a regular (as I am a regular at some of the Royce Chocolate stores back at home)."
"Social Distancing Edition ReviewIn this time of uncertainty, there are a few standbys that can help you feel just a little bit better. A strong cup of coffee, cake, a glass of wine, and dare I forget, a solid bag of sweets. So what can you do to accomplish that? Well, you can risk your life and limb at the local grocery store... OR... you can call Randy at Sweet Mickey's and either get home deliver if you are near by, or schedule time with him to get a wonderful "Social Distanced" approved personal schooling opportunity. What lies at in his shop is none other that beautifully hand made fudge, without any of the corn syrups, and bins of candy that fill the mind and soul. Don't worry about touching anything, with the exception of the front door, you are in a no-contact purchasing experience. Cash is king, but if you prefer, he'll take the tap-to-pay or other digital payments. Look, I'm not saying that you should get candy, I'm saying that in this time and age, with all the social distancing, if you need candy, call ahead, parking is plentiful, and get some wonderful candy. Stay calm, eat local, wash your hands."
"I have been to this oasis of libations and meat three times in my life and each time I'm blown away by the selection! The most recent trip was one prior to a dinner at a friend's place. We got a Trappiste Rochefort 10, a 2009 Red Blend from the DuBrul vineyard from Coté Bonnevile and a blackberry sparkling cider from London...this from a market that looks like the sort of spot you'd grab worms and Busch light on your way to the lake! The beer selection here is as vast as any place I've seen, including Johns in Iowa City - seems obscure, but look it up and see that glory for yourself! They probably have 400+ beers in literally every variety you can think of, including plenty of hard to find bottles that I've only seen a handful of time. The wine selection isn't as vast, but (case and point above), they've got some great options! The folks working here are knowledgeable and friendly, making the process of getting in and out a breeze, though there's enough to check out that it's easy to linger. The meats they've got here are impressive as well. Not to the level of the beer, but this was the first place I ever saw fancy bacon and bacon sausage! Life changing moment if there ever was one outside of a wedding and kids! This place is unassuming and deserves a visit from you ASAP!"
"This is too good! Delicious favorites at a bargain! Come in, get a sample then wander through & find some flavors you maybe haven't found before! We got wayyy too much chocolate in different varieties, seriously arms full for under $10!! If you're near? STOP!! Your sweet tooth will thank you!!!"
"I have been here several times before but my first time going on a tour. It was really cool had unique art and sculptures. Fun fact: Boehm was an Olympian. Stones on the roof heat up from the sun and keep the homes warm. There was a vast variety of candy. And tasty ice cream. I spent 70 bucks on candy. Even though I knew I wasn't going to eat it all, my eyes were bigger than my tummy. I gifted a lot of it. They do have a parking lot so no need to worry about finding a spot.Overall, you have to come here and check it out for yourself."
"Oh man ... my long search for a high quality and tasty candy shop in Seattle is finally over! If you've been looking around for great chocolate and are about to give up hope, no worries my friend. You'll find it in The Confectionery! They have a huge selection of pre-wrapped candies and treats, but their real treasure are their fresh selections behind the counter. Coming here, you have to have some of their chocolates and make a bag or box to go. Milk and dark chocolate lovers will be happy with so many flavors and kinds to chose from. At this stop, I got some of wife's favorites and she loved them all (marshmallow, coconut, turtles, caramels, and mints). For me, I got one of their original peanut butter cups --- I simply can't resist those, as they're my favorite! They are pretty pricey for chocolates, but it's so worth it. So much better than the cheap box stuff you get at the drug store and better than the other local shops that many people go to (I won't say the name, but most people can "see" them when they go to the mall). The Confectionery is well worth the higher price and worth fighting the crowds at the U-Village. I'll be back for boxes for special occasions and for when we have that yummy chocolate craving!"
"After trying Royce chocolates at the Chocolate Festival, I was incredibly excited to find out a stand had opened in the Alderwood Mall. It's a little thing, easy to pass by, but the chocolate is just as good as I remember and they hand out free samples. Highly recommend picking up some of their signature stuff. It's a little pricey at $20 a box, but it's worth treating yourself to."

I love this place! :) you can smell the fudge right when you walk in. The servers working there were super friendly :) we tried the strawberry shortcake fudge, it was excellent. A little too sweet for my taste, but I think people will like it! It's $5 per fudge square.

Hands down my go to place for special treats. Caramel apples are hard to find, and we were getting them every time we went to seattle, which wasn't as often as we would like a caramel apple. So, I asked around and everyone mentioned Amy's. I wasn't disappointed! They have so many different caramel apples at any given time. From the classic covered in peanuts, to rocky road covered in all the things! The apples are priced at about $10 each, which I think is about the norm. Their other chocolates seem to be priced a bit high, but not high enough that I would get them for special occasions. The service is always wonderful and they are helpful as can be.

We went back to Royce and they still have wonderful Japanese chocolates. They have a good selection of different percentages of chocolate. I also enjoy the ones that need to be refrigerated as well.

Sweet Mickeys is not only sweet for all the sugar you can find in there, but it's also sweet as in a charming little candy shop. The gentleman helping me today was super sweet and kind. The windows are so adorable. A throwback to a time when shops did wonderful window displays. The shop is a nice blend of chocolate, fudge, and vintage candy options. I have everything from chocolate covered peanuts and malted milk balls to gummy bears, Turkish Taffy, and jawbreakers. Today they had some beautiful truffles that would make a wonderful Valentine's gift. Located in Ballard Central, it's a cute location. The good thing and also at times a drawback is street parking. It's great if you can get it, and a pain when everybody is out and about.

What this place lacks in exterior charm (unlike all the totally adorable storefronts in this downtown Poulsbo corridor) they make up for in substance. They have groceries and beer from all over Europe! Who knew there were dozens of kinds of black licorice? Fish in tins? Yep. My challenge though was not being able to read the foreign language to see what kind it was. From cookies and candies, to clogs and unique socks, they stock all sorts of fun European treats! Prices are a little higher than your average grocery store, but they are imports. Parking- they have a FEW spots out front. But unless you come really early in the morning, you may be out of luck. I recommend parking in the public lot at the end of Front Street and walking.

This is such a fun little stop! Why would one ever buy Roca candy anywhere else? Super affordable, abundant product variety (upon my visit) and SAMPLES abound. I bought way too much chocolate (yes, it's possible) so don't let the low prices cause you to become a pre-diabetic. So much chocolate that my shopping bag handle tore off on the journey home... Embarrassing.Take the tacoma transit, you'll get right to the little gazebo gift shop and not have the headache of traffic/parking.

Staff: They were moderately nice. The service was so so. Quality: Wow, the chocolate here is so good. Ambiance: Loved the way it felt like you were on a small German town. They have a tour you can take but if not you can do a self tour through the window as each window had details of the different stations of the factory. Value:Pricing was fine. Overall:I'd be back for sure. Our family lives not too far away from here so when we visit them we most definitely will return. Pro Tip:You can actually get married in the back at the chapel.
Visit Restaurant Page"The shop in Enumclaw was the cutest little ice cream/coffee shop ever. When you walk inside the smell is absolutely amazing there is a ton of selection of sweets, flavored popcorn, scone mixes, jams and ice cream! There was only one guy scooping up ice cream I felt really bad he was super friendly and he apologized for the wait even though we didn't even wait that long we just wanted to make sure the shop front wasn't too crowded with people before stepping inside. The ice cream was absolutely delicious I will be back to enjoy all that Enumclaw has to offer!"
"This gets 5 stars for featuring gummy candies I've never tried before, an awesome attendant, and delightfully CHEAP candy. $4 for 1lb?! YES PLEASE. Come on, you pay $1 for 3oz at your typical store. Check it out!!"
"Do I love coming here or what!!!! Tiny store with baking supplies of all kinds. They also have chocolate making classes, I have not attended but plan to in the future. The store is small and packed. Decent prices and lots of variety of things. I just love coming here. Don't expect fancy equipment but expect knowledgeable and friendly staff."
"Hazelnut, gianduja chocolates are approved by yours truly. There's one that had an edelweiss screen printed atop, it's so pretty. My niece liked her butterscotch one. My dad liked the raspberry truffle and my sibling enjoyed the amaretto chocolate."
"Every market needs a candy store for diversity. This is sugar heaven of your favorites, your forgotten favorites and your new favorites. My eyes went into a sugar coma when I saw 2 lb pucks of Reese PB Cups...I am NOT kidding. 2 f-ing pounds. It would take me weeks to eat that (and I love my Cups). The selection when all put together looks visually intriguing, however, it's candy that you can get anywhere else. I am just a sucker for candy (pun totally intended)."
"A bit expensive for the mocha milkshake (i didn't really taste too much coffee) but it was to support local business. It was a busy spot. Kid's single scoop is $4.75."
"This place has a few good bins - the most important part is that you get to make CANDY BAGS!Very tiny and not a lot of room. Only 2 people can really be in the store at a time."
"Have always wanted to get something here and it was even better than expected. A very cute place that makes it hard not to want to come in. They had some pretty delicious flavors but what stood out the most was the customer service. They were great and polite and everything you could ask for despite how busy the place was. How refreshing!"
"I've never had the opportunity to check out this cute little chocolate shop, but we needed a coffee and this was nearby. The shop itself has some really cool gifts and lots of unique chocolates I want to try! Snickerdoodle, PB&J, and Raspberry Cheesecake fudge just to name a few. The white chocolate mocha we ended up getting was very meh. It had waaay too much foam for a mocha, and it for some reason had a fruity undertone to it. I won't be coming back for coffee but I might need to try those chocolates."
"I stumbled upon this place while walking along the streets of old Port Orchard. I should have read the reviews and got the fudge! I got several soft center chocolates - coffee, lemon, raspberry, huckleberry, and lemon. Sounds good, right? But other than the huckleberry the centers had very weak flavor and I wasn't too impressed. Next time I'll be sure to get the fudge or taffy!"
"I enjoyed the factory tour and learned a lot about the history and science of chocolate in the process. We sampled itty bitty pieces of chocolate throughout the tour and moved through a few rooms. You are encouraged to take lots of pictures and if you post them on social media they want to be tagged. Our tour guide kept the conversation moving and knew how to engage a group. It lasted about an hour and included a question and answer session. Afterwards we ended up in the gift shop with a twenty percent off coupon."
"Looking for an ice cream option in Pike Pl, you might end up here just like us. Many flavors, but unreasonable charges - $5/$6 for a scoop? too much! . Service is good. The girl at the shop was friendly with everyone. It's a busy place. Not just ice creams, they have souvenirs, t-shirts, chocolates etc as well."
"I don't know it it's just me, but it's really difficult to find ice cream in the touristy areas of Seattle! Anyway, found this via a Yelp search and made it there just before closing. They are located in the armory food court near the Space Needle and yes, their specialty is fudge, BUT they also have the most amazing ice cream. I got the Huckleberry ice cream in a waffle cone and it's very generously portioned and so good. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy and hit the spot on a warm day in the city. Since we were probably one of the last customers of the day, service was quick. Happy we found this place!"
"A chocolate lover's dream. It's always fun checking these places out, better appreciation than say, a Purdy's.And not sure if this is a good thing for your body, but they also offer bulk buys too. So good for the wallet ;)Good selection."
"Mad Candy donated a gorgeous FILLED pinata to the Garfield High School B4L Bash. At Ty's request I sent in a picture, and their creation was incredible! Their generosity and donation are very much appreciated."
