"This is a good Korean barbecue restaurant. The price was very affordable, the food was delicious and the food portions were large. The service was good, but I had to remind our server a few times of several items we were missing. Overall, this is a great Korean barbecue restaurant, you will definitely get your moneys worth."
"Good variety of food. I love it that when you can't seem to decide what you're hungry for, they have different options here, so you can get a little bit of everything, or a lotta bit of everything. I wanted to try everything, but it sure adds up; a little bit pricey. But I expected that, since it is Bellevue. The veggies are really good. I liked the green beans, mushrooms, and the avocado salad. The Chinese food was good to, but still kind of reminded me of the Chinese food you get and Chinese buffets or fast food Chinese. I will definitely come here again when I want a little variety for lunch."
"AYCE hot pot with a charming presentation for $28.99. Weekdays from 12 PM - 4 PM are discounted at $25.99 with a free drink. At a glance the price appears reasonable, but adds up easily. Access to the sauce bar, which includes limited appetizers and desserts, costs $3.99. And only the bone broth is complimentary, the rest require an upgrade. We got the combination of two for $12.99: spicy broth and bone broth. All orders are placed on your phone via scanning a QR code. Default selection is decent and even has dishes such as fried rice. Conveniently multiple people can select for the same table and the servers will clear it afterwards for additional orders. Everything was fresh and prepared nicely. We picked two sides to pay extra for:- Kitten Paw-Shaped Shrimp Balls: comes with 6 pieces ($6.99)- Shrimp Balls in Litchi Shape: comes with 5 pieces ($5.99)Service was good and quick. The restaurant is spacious with seating and outside has an open parking lot."
"I met my friend at Hero's BBQ for lunch and had no idea this place existed. I do like the concept, where you can select your own food, including the meats. But it is pricey and if you're expecting the traditional Brazilian steakhouse offerings, then some items you will not find here. Hero's BBQ is located in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland in an older business strip. I visited on a Friday for lunch and the place was busy. I arrived here first and was unsure of how everything worked until I witnessed others getting a plate and helping themselves to the buffet bar and then walking up to a window at the back of the room where you select from the different rotating meats. Then you pay your bill and seat yourself. It is pricey and the food is weighed. It was about $13 per pound and I kid you not, the plate itself was quite heavy. I would recommend getting this as takeout so you can use that container instead of the plate for weighing. Also, nothing at the buffet bar was marked, indicating what it was. That was unhelpful.I did enjoy the food, especially the different cuts of meat I tried. The staff at the meat window was also accommodating, asking what kind of cook I wanted on my meat and if I wanted more slices or the meat to be sliced thicker, etc. That was nice. However, I must say that compared to going to an AYCE Brazilian steakhouse, then your best bet, depending on how hungry you are, would be to actually go to an AYCE steakhouse versus getting items here. My meal ended up being nearly $20, which is costly for lunch. I'd rather just go big and get all the steakhouse meats and buffet items, plus the famous cheesy bread and polenta that you get at the table. Not a bad place, but for my Brazilian meats and buffet offerings, I'll just stick to an actual steakhouse for that."
"My family and a friend (total of 5 of us) and I stopped by for dinner tonight after seeing a movie. Upon walking into the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly host, we paid and started making the rounds. There was a LOT of variety of foods. despite coming around 6:45pm when they close at 8pm everything tasted very fresh and was well stocked. The highlight was the steak that each of us tried. My daughter got their cheeseburger and thought it was so good she didn't even want to put anything on it. The steaks and burgers are cooked to order which is really nice to have your steak cooked to desired pinkness or lack there of. The chef did a spot on job and it was very well seasoned. They also had a build your own pasta bar. We got noodles, shrimp, mushrooms, scallops with Alfredo sauce. It was very flavorful and tasted quite fresh. I put a little of everything (think one bite) on my plate so I could sample and I think the orange chicken was my favorite. It rated better imo than any Chinese restaurant I've been to! The manager Brian stopped by and he was just as friendly and welcoming as their host and the friendly gentleman that kept our table clean of dirty plates. Thank you to everyone working tonight. We will be back."
"very dated decor but the food was legit, old fashioned ice cream sundaes and nice people serving you; what's not to like."
"We went at 1pm on a Monday. There were only a few other tables full. It was very quiet. The restaurant has a large, open room. They have booths and tables. They asked which we wanted to sit at. It was very clean. Our server got our drink order quickly and then we headed over to the buffet. They have a lot of the regular Chinese buffet offerings, which is what we were looking for. I especially liked the crab rangoon as it's one of my favorite Chinese dishes. They also had some sushi in addition to the typical offerings. Most of the food was hot but not overcooked, except for one chicken dish (chicken on a skewer) which was pretty dry. The parking lot is shared with Value Village and a few other stores, so it is large and has lots of spots.I was happy to have had lunch here and will be back the next time I want a Chinese buffet."
"No hand sanitizer anymore for customers. This is a buffet and there should be hand sanitizer. Watched waitress clear dirty dishes and handle fresh food without washing hands several times. She also carried dirty dishes in one hand into Mongolian grill area and start cooking a customers food then go out and get rid of dirty dishes then go back and cook again. No hand washes."
"Even when I was told that this place was good, I didn't believe it. And to be fair, if this food was not from a buffet, I probably wouldn't give it five stars. But I've been to a lot of mediocre Chinese buffets. When it comes down to it, a lot of them choose to cut corners. I've seen buffets that give you an option to pay extra for access to "premium" buffet items. This joint seems to have gone the opposite route, maybe? They have fish, clams, prawns, crabs, oyster, and every other seafood you might want in a Chinese buffet. The seasoned and sauced delicious seafood boil even had full lobster tails as a "promotion." The lobster had excellent umami in the sauce, not too dry or over cooked. Unfortunately, there will probably be multiple customers staring at the line like vultures and grab most of the lobsters whenever they show up, but what can you do. They have eel in their sushi. They have lychee and longan in the fruit section. And they still had room for a Mongolian grill. Instead, they're mostly missing cheap crap like pizza and fries, which I do not miss. Somehow, they have all these more expensive items and good service for only 18 dollars. That's not the cheapest you can find, but with how inflation has been, it's really not far from it. Not sure how they even make a profit exactly. If I didn't know better, I might think this joint is a front for.....I should not say that. I like the tea as well. I think this is the first time I've given a Chinese buffet five stars. I've finally gone insane and lost all credibility."
"This is a new addition to the area at the time of review. This means that they are just getting started out and do expect things to improve over time. The biggest challenge this location has is lack of signage, staff, and a strong language barrier. Only one staff member during our visit spoke some form of English, with the rest either speaking French or Portuguese. Unfortunately, my spouse and I do not speak either of those two.The place is also really understaffed at the moment and there are no signs, menus or instructions of what to do. This means you enter the location, see a buffet for dinner but no idea of how to pay, what things cost, where to sit, etc. They have BBQ during the dinner time too, but it is located in the back, and you have to explicitly go ask for it. They do not bring the meat around (or at least they didn't when we were there for your meal). There is no water station, you must buy a drink, the coffee machine was not pumping properly during our visit, the cashier had trouble weighing the plates (you pay per pound of food per plate during dinner it seems) and it was very confusing. The thing is, there is a lot of potential here. The place is in a great spot, the food overall is decent, abet a little dry and with the addition of a few more staff this place will be a rock star. It simply isn't there yet, so do take that into account if you come here. It will be challenging but it will be an experience either way. We'll try it again in a few months and update our review then."
"Sitar has been our local go-to Indian place for a little while now. We enjoy other region-specific Indian restaurants, too. For the general fare and for distance, this is our chosen place. Its deco is basic suggesting an indifferent mom & pop type of place without the glitz that is sometimes found at other Kirkland (and Bellevue and Redmond) Indian restaurants. Three TVs on the wall play Indian music videos, kids' cartoons, or soothing travel imagery. It is a funny mix bag for your visual entertainment. The clientele is predominately Indian (always a good thing). We have been here enough times that we now order amongst several favorite dishes. Our food comes reasonably swift. They have robust take-out orders, so a bit of wait during prime dinner time is understandable. Our waitstaff is very courteous. Their prices are a bit better than some/most Eastside restaurants, but cheaper can be found in Seattle. When the temperature is 84F outside, it feels like high 70s inside. Their AC isn't very strong, if that matters to you. The Food/Drinks:Tandoori Chicken, $16 - 5 StarsTandoori chicken (bone-in) is my calibration tool to determine if an Indian restaurant hits the basics correctly. Theirs is impeccably flavored, very well-seasoned, served sizzling on a hot plate. Even the chutney is delicious.Shahi Korma Goat, $19 - 5 Stars This sauce is amazing! So delicious. Goat is +$2 over the baseline of chicken. I think both proteins would be good with this sauce. They serve plenty of sauce for the rice and the naan.Mango Curry Chicken, $17 - 3 StarsThe flavor was pretty good, but the sauce was oddly thick today, possibly too heavy handed with the cream. It didn't mix as well with the rice and oddly thick for the naan. Shrimp Masala Curry, $17 - 4 StarsShrimp is my preferred protein, and this dish is the cheapest way to order shrimp. LOL. While I enjoy a masala curry, it tends to be oily. Garlic Naan, $4 - 4.5 Stars This is my other calibration tool of an Indian restaurant. Theirs is crispy on the bottom with a fluffy chew throughout. Thumbs up.Masala Dosa, $11 - 3.5 Stars I still miss Dakshin that was in downtown Kirkland. This one is good enough but need more potato filling. I want a bit more masala flavor. The crispiness and flavor of the crepe itself is good. Indian Masala Tea, $3 - 3 StarsThe tea was pretty strong (not complaining). It was also oddly thick. A film forms easily on the surface. I ended up adding a bit of water to thin. Likely a personal preference thing, but I probably won't re-order.Mango Lassi, $5 - 4 StarsFairly normal mango lassi. Would order again."

Had an absolutely amazing experience here, this just might be our new go to for all you can eat KBBQ. Open late (until midnight), affordable ($25/person is hard to beat, especially in todays AYCE KBBQ economy. After tax and tip you're looking at just under $33/person), includes a variety of quality meats (beef brisket, pork belly, spicy pork, and marinated beef), solid sides, and service that goes above and beyond!!!I'd like to emphasize that last point. Eko (Icho) the owner was on another level. Insanely proactive, anticipating people's needs before they even ask. Rearrange the restaurant to immediately seat a party of 10+? More meat?? Grill change? Side and sauce refills? Service with a smile and great posture? Eko's got your back! As the menu states "If you are unsatisfied with anything, please ask for Eko." The man can hustle and will bend over backwards to give you the best experience possible! Thank you for the service, can't wait to be back!

This is my goto lunch. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch items. The salad is all organic, fresh and they hace a variety of vegetables. The homemade dressings are yum nd make me want to eat more salad. There have an amazing hot bar and the steamed veggies and spinach lasagna are delicious. The hot bar has breakfast and lunch items. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite as they hve a lot of peppers and onions which adds a good flavor. I like the veggie scramble too. Other than that the cold options like yogurt, cereal, fruit etc is also there.I like that they hvae a flat rate but dislike that I always end up buying more. It is slightly pricey but there are so many options that it is justified I guess.

Overall a 4.5! This place was a very solid ayce hotpot place! It wasn't as fancy inside as, say, Liuyishu but it also wasn't as expensive. Very affordable. Not as busy either, which was good cause my friend and I sat there for a while catching up and were able to do so without getting rushed or feeling bad for taking up a table. It was a little hard to find though - we were like do we drive into this elderly home area? Lol. The outside looks a little run down, but the inside is nice and bright. I would say ambiance and setting was more of a 4 - pretty solid but nothing mind blowing. The menu has the hot pot items that come with, and then there are some other items that you can pay extra for (like the noodles). The meat selection was fairly simple but the variety of stuff they had was nice and felt good for the price point. Their sauce bar was also pretty solid. I feel like this is a place I would def go to regularly if I lived here, but I'm not sure I'd come back as an infrequent visitor.

This is a Brazilian buffet with churrasco (meats from a spit) also available. The buffet is bigger at lunch. Everything is by weight. You go through the buffet, they go to the window to get fresh-cut churrasco. After 4, you can get a buffet for a flat rate. Churrasco is always extra.Cleanliness is marginal, especially the kids play area (does it ever get cleaned?). Food is decent, good but not great. Brazilian food can be better than this, but this is okay. Beans are the best. It's nice to have a Brazilian buffet in the area, I just wish it were a little better run and a little higher quality.

I was here on a Weds night around 6.The salad greens were not very appetizing and had lots of brown leaves. Many of the items were maybe 1/3 at the most filled and dried out, I wish I had taken a picture of the fried chicken.Prime rib looked good but was cold even with the heating lamp.Chicken fettuccine was about the only thing that was good.Oriental Chicken Salad I think was bad as I have been sick since shortly after arriving home. For what you get over $ 50 for 2 with a senior discount I am sorry to say this place is not worth it, I will definitely not be back.

We tried this place for breakfast on a Saturday. We were up early so we headed over just a bit before they opened and there was a literal line of 10 people. We had no problem finding a booth and the server waited on us immediately. Very good coffee, we had 2 orders of the maple valley breakfast. And the bacon is great! Biscuits and gravy good and eggs were fine. We will be back! Great breakfast superb service and very clean place!

Decent buffet for its price, especially if you're coming for lunch. You can't go wrong with the rice and noodle dishes. The sushi is freshly wrapped and their dim sum is good. Most of the desserts seem to be prepackaged and bulk-ordered but the layered coffee cake was light and fluffy. The egg drop soup was a little watered down and the hibachi station meat looked a little sketchy. However, I did not get sick after eating here. The waitress was kind and attentive. Overall, I would recommend this buffet if you're really hungry and on a budget, but I don't know if I would come back.

itssssss so EFFING GOOD im speechless!!!best buffet ive ever tasted in my whole entire Chinese Buffet Life !!!! WOOOW i have TEARY eyes while eating !! i will tell the whole WORLD about this PLACE !!!!!
Visit Restaurant Page"This place is KBBQ heaven. We came here with a party of four for a late lunch on a Saturday. The place was about half full at the time. The ambiance is that of any cook-your-own KBBQ place. Exhaust hoods hung at each table, and grills flickered with flames. We ordered a wide variety of proteins, except the Pork options, as well as appetizers. The banchan was also not lacking in variety. My favorite was the macaroni salad. As always, the star of the show for me was the Galbi. We cooked and ate until we could no longer and were saddened that we couldn't take the leftovers to go (raw or cooked). We hated to see the food go to waste. It was a wonderful experience. The service was prompt, and the waitress never let our plates get empty or our grills get dirty. I highly recommend this place."
"Hut hut hut, attention please- you need to make a stop at this spot in Belltown! My friends and I were jonesing for Indian food for dinner after going to Us the Duo's concert at the Crocodile. Just a few blocks away was this spot. We were the only ones there, and we got all the love from the staff, which turned out to be all family members! We were served by Roshin aka "Sing," and she said that her husband was the chef in the back. We got:- vegetable pakora ($6.95): mixed vegetable fritters. These were packed with flavor!- samosa chat ($9.95): vegetable samosa with garbanzo beans. This was filled to the brim and the exterior was perfectly crispy.- garlic and basil naan ($3.95): bread topped with onions, cilantro, and spices. This was slightly over toasted and not as buttery as I would've liked, but for the portion you get, this was well worth the price.- lamb korma ($16.95): saffron cashew nut curry with lamb. This was tender. Will have to say that the lamb was really gamey though. Not sure if that's a bad thing or not LOL. The dish came with biryani, which soaked up the remaining curry well.We learned that the business has been in operation since 2010, and they have a Wednesday and Thursday lunch buffet, which I'll have to check out before dance one day!"
"This was my first time having Korean BBQ and my neighbors took me to Cham Garden for a very late birthday dinner. The place is very small and I would not recommend large groups. There were so many options for meats and sides. When requesting some things from staff, there definitely could be a delay in getting assistance. But, overall this was a pretty good first experience in Korean BBQ. However, when you leave... you'll definitely be smelling of cooked meat and smoke."
"Excited to discover an affordable buffet North of Seattle with plenty of food! I'm thrilled to reunite with friends after almost a year. Looking forward to good chat and diverse cuisine, especially seafood. The people working are nice and easy to talk to! Can't wait to introduce some friends to a variety of delicious dishes!"
"Not bad at all for a small place inside a huge/fancy and very expensive mall/shopping center.Decent selection of food. You put what you want in your choice of container and go check out.I got a big meal for just over $10.00I've tried many other places nearby where they serve you highly overpriced & tasteless food. At least with Fresh N More you know what you are getting before you pay the bill."
"This place is pretty good, they have a decent selection with tons of American food. The price is great for what you get, the staff is very friendly and they have a private parking lot... They are closed on Tuesday, so keep that in mind.... The reason for the three stars is that the furniture is a bit dated, and worn out, and it is not the "Cleanest " of places... It is not 5 star dining, but it definitely gets the job done"
"When I go to a restaurant, I like the fact that someone has prepared what I ordered for me. So for that reason, I am not that hot with Chandy's. It is a do it yourself place in which you choose what you want to get. Items are sold by the ounce, so you have to be particular of what you are picking up. I guess buying stuff by the ounce/pound makes you want to be selective like you were at a buffet and only pick up the expensive type stuff.Essentially there are about four or five stations of food. There is a sandwich and salad bar, a section for wraps, a specialty section in which it is currently focused on barbecued meats and the hot entrees area. I got a turkey with cranberries wrap and a serving of macaroni & cheese for just under $7 which is a pretty fair price.Overall, I was disappointed with the food though. The wrap could have used some extra seasoning or dressing of some sort. The macaroni and cheese was just okay, nothing special. It was not as good as the version sold downstairs at Pike Place @ The Commons. Though I think Pike's version uses Beecher's, so of course they are beat in this regard. For a healthy bite, Chandy's is a decent option at The Commons. But, I just think the food offerings and the serve yourself setup are not very appealing to my tastes unfortunately."
"New Gangnam BBQ IV (the 4th location of the New Gangnam BBQs) is a pretty good place to get value KBBQ in the greater north Seattle area but comes with the caveat that everything is self-service. The meats were good quality and all the banchan side dishes were to my liking. There is different price tiers of AYCE depending on what cuts of meat you want. You can get AYCE kbbq for as cheap as $25/person. They also do al la carte menu items and combo sets as well. FoodMy friends and I came to do the lowest tier AYCE ($30) since it included the OG staples for us: beef brisket and pork belly. In addition to those cuts, we also tried the marinated bulgogi. Overall, the meat qualities were decent and did not have excessive amounts of fat. The bulgogi marinade wasn't too salty. The $30 AYCE option also comes with other meats such as pork, chicken, octopus, shrimp, or squid (did not try though). The meats are all self-service and you must go get whichever ones you want. Note that the pre-portioned into bowls that can be found in the fridge but you can grab as many as you'd like. The banchan side dishes were also all self-service as well. There is a variety of banchans available and they were all pretty good. There are non-traditional side dishes as well such as pot stickers, tempura, and eggrolls but these were just okay and seemed like they were out of a frozen package. There is a small area for sauces that are all self-service as well. There will be your typical brisket sauce or salt & pepper in sesame oil available. There are a ton of other non-traditional sauces as well though, such as yami yami sauce. AtmosphereThere are primarily booth seating that will seat about 4 people comfortably with a grill built into the table. There are some tables with regular chairs as well. The interior looks good compared to some other kbbq places that I have been to and was clean. The noise level was not very loud during lunch time on the weekend. Casual. PricingPricing was pretty good for the AYCE menu and not overly expensive compared to other hot pot places. See my pictures associated with review for price tiers. There is open bar for sauces and appetizers so you can get as much as you want. Quality was good for what I paid. ServiceFor AYCE everything is self-service when it comes to getting your food (banchan side dishes to meats). Surprisingly, water is not self-service. The server and staff were nice and helpful. OtherPlenty of parking at the restaurant on a Saturday lunch. The entrance is located on the upper half of the building."
"I went here for my birthday and it was a nice and fun experience. The meats were tasty and fresh. The staff was very friendly and funny. I really enjoyed the beef short ribs and pork belly. And the side dishes ."
"Wow! What a yummy experience! My sister and I love Mongolian Grill style restaurants and this was a new one for us! They had a great selection of veggies and ingredients. Plus, I like how you can put in your own meat. Usually the restaurant does that for you... but here you can add as much or little as you'd like. One of the employees was very eager to help and made our sauces for us. It was helpful but maybe a skosh overbearing. The food was delicious!!! So many great sauces to add on after cooking too. She treated us to Thai tea and it was delicious."
"MY FAVORITE Korean bbq spot period located in Fed Way! This is the most cleanest and affordable Korean spot so far that I have enjoyed. Your are definitely going to get your moneys worth hands down. I absolutely love coming here due to the fact it's buffet styled , which means you yourself can pick from the buffet your types of meat, veggies, sides & even cooked items like stir fried noodles, sushi & etc whenever you want and as much as you want. Lots of options for meat like bulgogi, pork belly, short ribs , seafood it's amazing. The service is TOP NOTCH every time my drink was empty they always came and asked if I wanted a refill , or took our used plates or changed out our grill if it looked burnt. EVERYTHING IS SO DELICIOUS AND CLEAN. Tons of parking. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away, because this place is wonderful for your Korean bbq fans! Definitely get your moneys worth and fantastic service."
"Market Fresh is on the ground floor of the Fourth & Madison building but on the 3rd Ave entrance side, go figure. It's a good spot to stop by in the morning to grab some breakfast. It's buffet style where you just grab a box and fill it up with whatever. They have eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausages, potatoes, waffles, and all that. They have some lighter options like yogurt, with all kinds of toppings from granola, fruit, seeds and they also have a oatmeal bar. Also some baked goods like cookies and banana bread. Pricing is pretty good, my breakfast usually cost me under $5 so that's a pretty good deal for breakfast. The ladies that work there are very nice, will keep an eye out if items are running low and refill it pretty quickly. At lunch time, the line is going out the door so it's pretty popular with the work crowd that works in the building or the neighboring ones. The food seems to be mainly Asian themed with teriyaki, meats, noodles, sushi rolls etc. But they have salads, veggies and lighter fare if you trying to stay svelte. Overall, it's super convenient for me and will continue to stop by."
"I can't decide between 4 stars or 5 stars. I ended up with 5 stars because although it is definitely not a fine dining cuisine type of place, it is fast, efficient, convenient, and so darn fresh, just like the name. I love the idea of this salad bar. At first, I thought it was just salad, which kind of sucked to me. However, once I walked to the salad bar, I was in love. There are so many things offered in each bar. The salads come with the usual iceberg lettuce chopped, very fresh looking, nothing old at all. Then there's the more spring garden mix (my favorite!). I love it because it does have all the works. There's even more--spinach and some other power green. Next to that, oh gosh, there's shrimp, cucumber, carrots, red onions (yummm) more vegetables, and more toppings! I'm in salad heaven because the ingredients are clean, and very fresh to me. Lots of fresh grilled chicken breast and every kind of topping you can imagine. Left of the salad bar (which is in the center) is the hot foods. I appreciate that they are vegetarian friendly because I am on Lent. They have tons of hot foods from mac & cheese, to chicken parmesan to pastas to fishes, and then vegetarian dishes. It is truly endless! Following that is more cold food like mac salads, friend mushrooms, fried potatoes, vegetables in vinegar, and even further down there is my favorite: Black Bean Noodles!!!! Ahhh, they are cold, tasty, and so refreshing. I am in love because the flavors are so fresh off of sesame and there are mushrooms, zucchini (or cucumbers, I'm not sure) in them. Yum! Across from that is the other side of the salad bar. Yumm to chick peas, several options of cheeses, croutons, and all the other stuff you can think of. They have so many dressings to choose from too. My favorite is the asian sesame which is perfect to me! They have lots of vinaigrette, caesar, ranch, you name it! I love that when you check out, it is SUPER fast. Seriously, it takes 30 seconds or less for you to weigh your food and pay. It is $6.99/lb... I think it's a good price, but I do wish it was a little cheaper because I once got the wrong salad and couldn't throw it out so it added extra weight to my total. On a good day, I will spend $5 on a to-go box which fills me up. On a "my eyes are bigger than my stomach but I'm starving because I missed breakfast" day, I will spend roughly $8. Not too bad if you ask me because I get to design my own salad, dress it up, and enjoy other sides if I decide to. Definitely peak times around 12:00-1:00PM where the rush sometimes gets crazy and you feel like you're standing there too long as you are unsure of which toppings you'd love to accompany your greens. Love the fresh food options, love the flavors of things, and it is so fast! I appreciate that they have some Asian food, but of course, they cater to their main audience, American food. I hear their salmon is good... I'll have to come by when it's not crazy and try that for myself. Yumm fresh!"
"This is one of mu neighbors favorite restaurants in our neighborhood. We had been on a walk and decided to have dinner it's close to home. My neighbor had her ho to the coconut curry chicken medium and had the Chicken Vindalooone step up in spice as I like my dishes a little spicier than her but not so much that I can't taste the flavors. It was the perfect amount of kick for me came with basmati rice in beautiful bowls from India. The staff is friendly and were very accommodating they do a great job of taking care of those dining with the large amount of take out they do. Water glass was always full. The owner is so nice , definitely won't wait so long to return."
"I have been seeing some great posts lately about this restaurant from a local group. I had been here once before a few years ago but ended up not liking the sit down buffet.. We had arrived just as the place opened so some food was not completely heated up. There never seemed to be many people parked there either. HOWEVER.... The take out was great. They have been very busy so I ordered ahead of time for a later pick up. I got so much food that fed 6 of us with a ton of left overs. It was made fresh and was very tasty. The price was phenomenal as well. There is no way we could get that much for for that price anywhere in Monroe. I love Chinese food, so in am super excited to have a take out place close by. This place will be on my return list for sure..I know they had a buffet pay by the pound, but most of their attention was on takeout. Takeout is the way to go hands down. You also get a to go dessert box to fill before your departure and enough rice to feed an army."
"With the impacts of Covid on the buffet scene it appears Mandarin has the market cornered. Plates clearly from the acquisition of employees and cookware from Haiku and quality definitely improved I think this will be where one takes the Asian Aunties and Uncles who like to eat their weight in crab legs and salt n pepper shrimp. My daughter definitely ate her weight in seafood! The silken fried tofu was a classy touch. I also liked the coco mouse and the flan and crème brûlée. Chocolate fondue tower a must. Excuse me while I loosen my buffet pant drawstrings."
"NO! NO! NO! HORRIBLE! The only people going here should be THE HEALTH DEPT! This place is a BAD JOKE! Dirty, Greasy, Musty, & Smelly, and that's just the inside. The food was scary, overcooked on the outside, frozen on the inside. No one speaks English, the waiter(???) used his fingers to coax the sauce into a serving dish, as there really wasn't much left, And he had Dirty clothes and was very Sketchy looking, especially because he kept staring at us!PLEASE DON'T GO HERE"
"Wonderful informal Brazilian joint. Really reasonable price for AYCE. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff. Seemed to be mostly Brazilians eating there (an excellent sign IMO). My teenagers both enjoyed it: "glad we came here.""
"Ignore all the ridiculous reviews! It's under $15 for a huge variety of all you could eat Chinese food and everyone's complaining in the reviews like they expected a Michelin star meal Get over yourselves. This place is awesome! They have everything from Mongolian BBQ, sushi, hot and sour as well as egg drop soup to crab rangoons and gyoza. They even have a salad bar if you're into wasting space in your stomach on that. The food isn't the best sushi or Chinese you've ever had but it's good and cheap!! The people working are nice too. They've always been very accommodating when I go with a large groups of friends and they don't judge us when we eat more than we should.10/10 recommended"
"Before my grandmother passed away, one of the places my parents and I took her out to lunch was the Super China Buffet in Shoreline. She lived in Foss Home and liked this location, plus it was not too far from her residence. The interior of the restaurant was level and she did not have a problem getting to the table(s).Food was easy to access and the dishes were straightforward to find. Offerings were varied and what I had was good. My parents said what they got was a little more hit or miss. My grandma was more like me and liked what she got as well. Workers were friendly and professional."
