"Wonderful family owned and operated store has a little bit of everything! Local, imported and national liquors! And they can deliver for your party so you don't have to run around getting your liquor and mixers!"
"Came here after wine tasting because we've always seen it but never been. My wife is a vodka fan but I'm not. I'm used to that terrible vodka after taste, but this place has changed my mind! We shared a vodka tasting ($15) and every vodka we had was delicious! They had a honey infused one, a cinnamon one that smelled like fireball but was not as terrible as fireball, a cold brew one, a whiskey barrel aged one, and their original. Afterwards we asked for a couple mixed drinks and those were also amazing! The two people working are the best! They walked us through everything and even shared drink recipes. Overall, you should definitely come and check this place out if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed."
"cute place. It's small, but has a nice deli counter. Chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, potato samosas, curried chicken salad and even corn dogs. yum! Plus they carry Boar's head meat and make cold and panini sandwiches to order there.Samosas were $1.99 each and empanadas are 4.99 each. But the samosas are big. Two of them can make a pretty satisfying lunch, I suppose three if you're really hungry!"
"Wine bar, club with super friendly staff and a knock your socks off bargain back room. Enjoy lunch on the patio and take a few bottles home. (Beer too)"
"Great little brew pub that let's you being dogs. Large selection of beers on tap along with bottles and cans available. They provided water bowels and dog treats (bonus stars)"
"Love this store! Great selection of nice bourbons. Easy to find parking. A little pricey, but I don't mind since it is not a chain store. Shop local!"
"A great stop in Poulsbo, after a very warm ferry ride over to Brainbridge Island. Interesting and welcoming interior, modeled after quite a bit of old lumber harvesting tools and red cedar plank walls throughout.. thus the name..Western Red. Not too busy when I first arrived, but as the Kraken game was playing, a few people arrived to watch as well as a party starting upstairs. Donna was great telling me about the history behind the name and knowledgeable about the great selection of beers they made, as well as ciders and wines available. Of course, seeing they made a red ale, it was first to try on my list. Not too heavy, smooth drinking and great flavor, a good solid dark red ale. It went down quickly, being a unusually warm afternoon for the area. Next up, was the Hop Assault, which was surprisingly smooth given the amount of hops, four varieties jammed into this crisp, perfectly hopped masterpiece, well made and not over hopped, another great beer actually anytime, I can see why it is one of the popular beers. I still had time for one more, before checking in to the hotel, so I selected the Strawberry blonde ale, another popular one, and another with a low octane level, lots of strawberry flavor, which was great, as most strawberry ale I've tried, have been a little weak on strawberry taste. Definitely the best strawberry blonde I've had. Lots of seating inside and you can see where they make all the brews as well, light snacks are available and plenty of parking, it's a little outside the busy downtown area of Poulsbo, which helps with parking. Definitely worth trying when in the area. Yelping on! Cheers!"
"I stopped by Arete while in Northbend after reading all the positive Yelp reviews. While they don't have their own parking lot, there's lots of street parking on the adjacent streets. It took me a little while to find Arete because it shares a space with a skiing/hiking store. With that said, they have a fair amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. Many people were chatting and studying when I arrived.I ordered a basic iced latte with light ice and oat milk. I think it's about $1 extra for plant milk substitutions. My total came to $6.The barista was friendly and I got my order in less than 10 minutes after ordering. The coffee was smooth and stronger than a typical Starbucks coffee in my opinion. I definitely felt the buzz. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. They sell stickers, books, and other outdoors equipment.Overall, 4/5 for coffee, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere"
"My family loves Molly! Close to a member of the family status (which is saying a lot as we didn't know her before she opened up the street from us). Great wine, knowledgeable, but also not snotty (which I like). Small shop, but she is limiting folks in (great). One of the best wine shops in Seattle."
"Only grocery store that was open late when we came (11pm). There were a lot of people trying to buy last minutes items. They have a variety of items. It's a mix between a liquor store and a small grocery store. The wine selection for a small place was pretty good. Same goes for the beers and non alcoholic liquids. They don't have the gallon waters though but liter waters they have. There's also a sandwich shop, not sure what time they open but it was close when we came later in the night. Small mom and pop place but has the necessities."
"This is not the tony upmarket beer spot. This is the spot where you can hang out and be goofy and drink great beer. It's a bit of a neighborhood hang maybe even more than it is a craft beer mecca, though all the pieces are here to make it fully solid as a craft beer spot. It's just that the vibe of regulars trumps the beer nerd vibe. It's great that beer bars are now starting to morph into other places rather than all trying to project that same tight focus on only the beer--since bars always develop their own personality over time, anyway. It's on LCW, which means parking is a bit of a hassle, but it also means there are quite a few decent places to eat around here lately. That combines well with a night of drinking. There's even a great big brewery across the street that's pulling in bumper crops of hungry local families. TBA seems to pick up everybody who's not clamoring for the family vibe across the way. There's a patio outside where you can sit and relax, and there are plenty of booths and stools inside. There are coolers, and there's a great tap lineup with about a dozen faucets, maybe more. The staff hustles and bustles, and they have a lot going on besides just the beer. There's trivia, foosball, all kinds of stuff happening that not too many other beer bars offer, but feels very familiar in a neighborhood corner spot. It's a great hybrid."
"This is a wonderful little wine shop! I went to their weekly free tasting today and tried 3 different whites and 3 reds. We had a couple that we liked and one of my friends bought a bottle of Argentinian wine. The ONLY disappointment I experienced was that we got way smaller pours than everybody else. I get that the others could have been regulars and they all looked 40+ (while we are in our twenties), but we're still new customers. Don't they want to grab our interest now and have us become loyal customers for many years to come?"

My wife and I dropped in to find a birthday present for a friend and were greeted by a very nice person. We told her what we were looking for and our price range and she made several recommendations and even offered to gift wrap. I didn't think the prices were out of line as other reviewers have stated, I have a feeling there might have been a management change since the two other reviews were submitted. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful oh, we can't wait to go back and give them more of our business.

The local go to store for beer, wine, cigs, drinks, snacks and deli sandwiches. Its a really clean, nice shop and some items are overpriced, but that is to be expected for this type of convenience store.

Okay...the outdoor space is essential for sunny days! I walked by with a friend, looking for a place to drink some wine, and we decided to try it. You order wine inside and then seat yourself, so it can get busy and hard to find an open spot. I hovered around for like 10 mins and grabbed a table once a group left. They do serve some small cheese plates, but you can order food from other restaurants and eat it on the patio so we ordered Zeeks pizza to eat with our wine. It's super quaint and cozy, and it's right by the water. Summer is coming so keep this place in mind!

I was at a friend's wedding in the area, and my search of local liquor stores left me cold, until I found this place. The selection of the other liquor stores was sorely lacking. This place doesn't look very large from the outside, but it's very packed inside. It had everything I was looking for, things I didn't know I wanted, and was super-well organized. It's got a flow to it that made it quite easy to find what I was looking for.The guy at the front counter knew his stuff, answered all my questions handily, asked some in return, and was very helpful and pleasant.I agree with the other reviews. The name is fitting. This is a proper liquor store.

My wife and I stopped into WRB while visiting Poulsbo since they were listed in our Hop Passport.Free limited time (2 hr) parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment.Indoors is large and spacious. Perfect for large groups. WRB is family friendly.WRB offers complimentary popcorn and cards/board-games to enjoy while slurping on a couple of pints. Outdoor food is allowed since WRB doesn't have a kitchen on-site.My wife and I each enjoyed a couple Single Buck IPA's and Export Stout's for $6 each. We both enjoyed our slurp choice.Orders are place at the counter so staff interaction is minimal. The interaction on the day of our visit was friendly.Thank you WRB for whetting our whistle.

Wanted to check this place out after visiting Snoqualmie Falls. A cute and cozy coffee shop tucked in Pro Ski. It wasn't obvious as I passed by the building several times. Lost tourist problems. Anywho, I ordered northwest cubano panini and strawberry matcha latte (which I saw on their website, but didn't find it on their menu). I ordered my food to go since I had places to go and places to see. The panini had the meats, cheese, and pickled red onion, did it for me. I loved the pairing of the matcha and strawberry, very much spring vibes even though the weather was too cold for my liking. My sandwich also came with chips, which was an added bonus. All in all, good eats and drink. They do have online ordering, which is an added bonus.
Visit Restaurant Page"Some of the best smoked salmon we've ever had, we purchased here! I only wish we had bought a larger bag, because it was gone within six hours of arriving back home! Couple that with a savory array of cheeses, spices, sauces, meats, eats and other treats, and you end up with one of my favorite stores in Poulsbo! This is the kind of place that fuels the fire of our food-tourism tendencies! An absolute must-stop in Poulsbo!"

"My neighbor and I take walks weekly and stumbled upon Greater Good I knew they took over the Noble Fir space but hadn't paid a visit so we decided to try them yesterday after our weekly walk. They had their soft opening about four weeks ago and the grand opening was about two weeks ago. Love the aesthetic of the space it photographed so beautifully made me wish I had my camera with me. My neighbor ordered a glass of rose $12 and I had the Beet Nik cocktail $13. We both had a Deluxe Dog full beef I had mine the way the menu said with mustard, relish and fried onions my friend wanted ketchup and no relish, we split the tots $5. Small menu but what was on it looked good the other items from memory on the menu were Humus and Asparagus, a burrata prosciutto salad with arugula and a shredded pork verde sandwich. The hotdog buns were nicely toasted and it was really a good dog.I loved my cocktail. There were two front of the house staff working and they were both friendly and fun to talk to. Would definitely bring friends. The owners also own Underbelly in Pioneer Square I'm told which makes me want to visit Underbelly."
"I can't say enough great things about this quaint wine bar/shop. It is intimate, and cozy, and the owner Carol is not only a sweetheart but extremely knowledgeable. She is quick to tell you all the details about the wines they sell and are pouring during their daily tastings. Stop by anytime Tuesday -Saturday for a very reasonable 5$ tasting, or a cheese and antipasto plate (or both). They also serve wines by the glass that range in price but are all extremely affordable. This is a great place to spend an hour (or three) any given afternoon chatting and sipping it up. Everyone who visits the shop is extremely friendly and there is a genuine sense of community that comes across. So glad to have wild side wines not only because of the amazing wine and atmosphere, but because of the people I have met from stopping by."
"Wonderful liquor store--actually beautiful displays in a gorgeous building... doesn't feel seedy or big box store-y."
"Great friendly service in a well lighted, clean & organized minimart. Extra nice to have the growler filler."
"A solid little deli & beer/wine store. I stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich one morning and the service was quick and the food was good. Relatively inexpensive and a pretty wide variety of nice quality meats and cheeses."
"Over the past few years, I have started to enjoy European wines more and more, in addition to some of my faves from WA and OR. And while most stores will have some European wines, it's Champion's area of focus. So it was a great find for me, especially as it's only a mile away. The owners are awesome - super nice people who will really work hard to find the right wine for your taste profile and budget. The store is small and packed with a great selection, and during COVID, they are taking appointment for in person shopping on Mondays, which is like having a personal session with a wine expert. Otherwise, they have a walk up window where you can chat away and discuss your wine needs. While they specialize in European wines, with a deeper selection of French and some Italians, I have also picked up some great PNW wines as well. Overall, it's my go to wine shop in Seattle now where I can pick up some unique wines that are fairly priced and with a personalized level of service of a great small business."
"I have a preference for porters and stouts. This place has the highest quality options in town. Like good tequila, you get what you pay for. He periodically introduces to me something new that came in that is in line with my taste. I've never been disappointed."
"New Town Deli is right where I live! So you can imagine how amazingly convenient this place is for me. I have been going here 2-3 times every week since I discovered it. I can get basic groceries - milk, bread, candies, snacks, and wines+beer. They also have a Boar Head sandwich counter, which makes for quick and dirty meals. All of this praise, and a 3 star review? That's because I would happily go to another place if I could. Everything is overpriced. The folks here keep changing and they are all quirky in their own way. One guy doesn't say a single unnecessary word and behaves like a strict teacher. Another one tries to joke around, but I struggle to get what he's trying to say. A third one is always watching something on his phone and just can't look away, even when I need to ask him something.I come here solely because of how close by it is and I would not recommend anyone to go out of their way to come here."
"The breakfast has changed a bit over the past year at The Victor Tavern. It's still excellent and one of the best places to enjoy brunch on the weekends. However, the thick bacon is just a bit smaller and thinner and the pancakes are also portioned back a bit. The biscuits and gravy has good flavor.I did try their $9 after 9 and the sandwiches were pretty good, worth a return visit at least."
"I saw an ad on Instagram for locally made Amaro by a woman-owned distillery. That caught my eye and I'm glad it did because this stuff is INCREDIBLE!I bought both Americano and Americano Bianco online, for pickup at their distillery/tasting room. The building itself is out of the way and not something you'd find casually walking around. Parking is good and they have good wheelchair/crutches access which I note now after having been on crutches twice in two years.I wandered in expecting to just pick up my bottles and leave. But they had a small crew (masks on) there and invited us for a tasting! They kept their masks on and stayed at a distance - and they had a big space with an open garage style door so it was really safe!I was blown away especially by the Americano Bianco. It's herbaceous and just sweet enough. FULL of flavor! It is good enough to drink neat and I just made a fabulous Negroni with it at home. The standard Amaro is good but not quite as much as a stand-out to me as the Bianco.Regardless, both are well worth the price. And the company's story? Priceless.Jamie told us about their two year process in developing the recipe. And they explained how they source their ingredients, which they have gone to great lengths to procure sustainably and locally. For example, they get saffron from farmers in Chelan and worked with them to pick the exact strain that would suit the Amaro's flavor profile. This company is dealing admirably with Covid-19 restrictions and with the very strict liquor restrictions in King County/Seattle. They say they hope to have tastings outside as soon as they can get approval.I will definitely be back to support this company because of their great product, very nice people, and what appear to be phenomenal business values."
"Owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Seemed like a good dude. Helped me pick out a more expensive wine to cellar for a bit and a inexpensive wine to drink with pizza this week. I'll be back."
"The only way I can describe Save U More, is a blend of IGA, Smart & Final and, Cost Plus World Market.I enjoy perusing international markets for unusual, interesting, and unique items. Predominantly Indo-European & Asian food, with a small selection of fresh produce. It's an odd set up, the interior is divided into 5 different areas, pet supply store, bakery, international foods, & restaurant supplies, there is also a deli/cafe located on the premises. It is an eclectic international market, with a large variety of imports, uncommon products, and extensive selection juices and sodas, Russian pastries, English cheese, German cookies, Armenian preserves, Filipino longanisa, Greek jams, and more, I am almost certain, they carry a few items from every country in the world, currently that's 195 if you were wondering. In spite of it's small size by today's supermarket standards, I have a hard time shopping here, other than sodas, pet supplies, and produce, nothing else is easy to find, the layout is awkward at best, it's more expensive than other local stores, and lastly, good luck asking someone to help you find a product, no one seems to have a clue what they have in stock. The bottom line, there are other international markets nearby with better prices, and larger selection."
"I've been wanting to try this place for several years. I knew I had to try almost everything. I ordered 1 lb brisket, 1/2 lb pulled pork and a hot link sausage. The brisket was my favorite, it was juicy and moist. The hot link was a little spicy and flavorful. The pulled pork was slightly dry but went great with their bbq sauce. For sides, we ordered the smoked jalapeño mac & cheese and potato salad. I personally liked their potato salad with the skin on. The mac & cheese was also very good and mild in spice. On another note, I was happy to they had sweet tea and it was made right too. I would highly recommend this place."
"Taco Joint at a location like this? We wanted to try it. Their menu looked great, some impressive options. They have tacos, vegan tacos, kid's tacos, breakfast tacos, kids breakfast options and non-taco options with Margaritas & lemonades as well. They have limited seating inside and outdoors are always an option. That's pretty nice. Ambiance of this place is quite casual, unlike the impression from outside. The service was good. They make the tacos really fast and interactions were friendly as well.First of all they didn't have all the tacos available that day. There were specials, we picked up a few tacos from their regular and special menus. They costs from $6-$8 per tacos - a little costlier than the regular tacos. But quantity wise it's double the size of a regular taco. I tried their special - Tailgate Chicken Taco. Shredded chicken on a Corn Tortilla with BBQ sauce, Queso and pickled onion. The taco was too soggy to even hold it my hands. Is it because of the excessive BBQ sauce or the grease from the meat - not sure. I have had better tacos before. Not really impressed. Heard opinions in similar lines from my friends as well. I saw some great reviews while searching for this. But unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations."
"This is a great wine shop with everything you need (glassware on down). They have a great mix of wines from all over the old world and the new, with plenty of west coast US selections. It's a large space, with a long ramp down into the main shop. You see wooden cases of tons of interesting reds, including what seem to be some very nice specialty items. Up front are tons of signs, tableware, utensils, and glasses appropriate for every style. Really a gorgeous selection. We poked around and found some nice WA bottles, and the owner was super helpful and well-informed, very graciously guiding us through some pretty general questions about what was interesting in the shop.Although the focus on tastings here seems a bit less than some other shops in the area, I will definitely be back when I need a nice bottle, especially old world stuff."
"Very nice store. Lots of great produce and many organic and bulk options. The store is clean, well organized and the staff is helpful."
"I have been to this oasis of libations and meat three times in my life and each time I'm blown away by the selection! The most recent trip was one prior to a dinner at a friend's place. We got a Trappiste Rochefort 10, a 2009 Red Blend from the DuBrul vineyard from Coté Bonnevile and a blackberry sparkling cider from London...this from a market that looks like the sort of spot you'd grab worms and Busch light on your way to the lake! The beer selection here is as vast as any place I've seen, including Johns in Iowa City - seems obscure, but look it up and see that glory for yourself! They probably have 400+ beers in literally every variety you can think of, including plenty of hard to find bottles that I've only seen a handful of time. The wine selection isn't as vast, but (case and point above), they've got some great options! The folks working here are knowledgeable and friendly, making the process of getting in and out a breeze, though there's enough to check out that it's easy to linger. The meats they've got here are impressive as well. Not to the level of the beer, but this was the first place I ever saw fancy bacon and bacon sausage! Life changing moment if there ever was one outside of a wedding and kids! This place is unassuming and deserves a visit from you ASAP!"
"This place is small, and parking in Mill Creek Town Center is not exactly a breeze on this block. But they pack the shelves with really interesting wines, and they seem to have a really lively calendar of tastings, with good bar snacks on offer. You're in a created mall area, and that has pros and cons. There's parking out back, but you might not always be in the mood for the sluggishness of traffic plodding through these blocks. If you don't mind it, though, this seems like one of the more fun places to drink in this area. They have a little bit of outdoor seating--just a couple tables, and certainly out of commission in the fall and winter, when we visited. Inside, they have a couple of medium-sized highboys, and a nice long bar. You see those first, and you realize they really do want you to stay and partake here. There are long high racks of shelves down the side and back of the space, filled with interesting bottles, all custom-constructed of nice wood, to create a pleasant home-cellar effect. There are big comfortable stools everywhere. The wine selection focuses on the west coast, especially CA. Lots of nice reds, including some real specialty bottles, some at double the prices they fetch in CA. That happens, especially with the rare and fancy stuff. There appeared to be tons of really reasonable selections available, though. The staff here are super friendly and nice, offering thoughtful, thorough answers to every question, and creating a very upbeat and welcoming environment. We were just here to find an interesting bottle, but I immediately filed the place into memory as a future drinking spot, especially on a cold or blustery day for red wines."
"Never would have thought I'd come to a golf course to try a restaurant without actually playing a round, but here we are. I can't say anything about the service, nor compare to the 'post-remodel' as I've only stopped by this year for take-out, but the restaurant is bright and feels open with large windows overlooking the course. Staff is friendly and patiently walked me through some items on the menu. Their signature steakhouse burger is actually quite amazing; juicy and flavorful cooked to medium-rare. The steak fries and sweet potato fries are decent, run of the mill stuff. Their smoked brisket nachos looked amazing, but left more to be desired as the portion was more appetizer than shareable (I assume shareable to be large and 'shareable'). I don't drink so I can't say anything about the bar or it's selection.Minus one star because parking can be difficult and those god awful speedbumps are not lowered/exotic car friendly."
