"Fresh fruit and Açaí flavor is on point at this Brazilian owned and operated bizz; they have a few kinks to workout with their cash register not working today and although it set my day back about 10 minutes (yes my life is one giant rush) this was a really nice stop today and the custom bowl I got was delicious. I opted for super cereal, cashew butter, and strawberry kiwi, the 8oz was fine for me. I had to eat this like 45 minutes later because of my schedule and I thought it would melt but it was perf. Tip: Groupon deal right now saves $3-4 off all purchases!"
"Just had lunch nearby so decided to get try a drink with my friend who comes here often. I'm not a fan of milk, so I was looking for something with no milk in it, and went for the Tropical Sunrise. You have the option of adding other ingredients into it, so I added kiwi for an additional $1. I really liked my drink; it was refreshing and tart, just what I wanted. My friend got the Spicy Mango, but it wasn't what she was expecting, and she didn't like it. So, she got a new one and I drank her Spicy Mango, which I thought was good, but not as good as my Tropical Sunrise. Staff was really friendly and helpful."
This perfectly crafted thick cut toast is topped with creamy avocado, fresh tomato, roasted peppers & onions, basil, spicy Sriracha, and seasoning.

"Shoutout to this healthy delicious woman owned cafe! The smoothies, salads, bowls and coffee drinks are freshly made and there's not one item I've had here that hasn't been short of amazing. The staff is attentive there's plenty of seating inside and a couple tables outside for days like today (it's 60 degrees). And so convenient to go to after a hearty workout at Impact Fitness another woman owned MI treasure."
"Love this chain :) Cozy shop. Convenient location. friendly staff. Delicious sandwiches and acai bowls per usual."
"Good place for mid day kid friendly refreshments. The staff could smile more... place lacks real aloha. No smiles, no greeting. Four or five behind the counter might as well be working in a munitions factory, they are serious, somber .. or depressed?Something's amiss in the H R Dept.Hope the owners take note: who wants to eat a simple oat milk ice cream with tropical fruits sprinkled on top when it takes a whole ten minutes and meanwhile there is nothing for us to do but study the grim demeanor of these unhappy folk.Where's the Ohana? The Aloha spirit?"
"So excited to see another coffee place come in where queen bee used to be. This is diagonally opposite Safeway on Madison and a good addition to the neighborhood! We got the raspberry white chocolate mocha, cold and it was delicious! You could taste the raspberry note. I only wish I'd got the 16oz lol. The Fremont was a well crafted sandwich (not sure why they call this a panini, as it's just a regular sandwich bread) served with chips and my kiddo loved the lemon cake slice. With smoothies, acai bowls and drink specials, there is enough to make repeated visits here. Staff are quite nice and courteous, but if I'm to nitpick they are sure to get faster with more hours of service."
"One of the best places to get smoothies and açaí bowls! Love the cashew milk and the taste of their smoothies. Great place to dine in or take out."
"We have visited so many Nekters across Washington and didn't even realize this one had popped up in November! We decided to change up which one we were coming to today and are very glad we did. The owner was very sweet and we wanted to hear her story about opening, and are really hoping she gets tons of business with such a great location! Our bowls were packed to the top which we love, safe to say we have been gypped at Nekters in the past with bowls barely half full. We got to try some of the premade items from the fridge as well, which I had never thought to try before. Overall great experience, think we found our new Nekter spot!"
"The açaí bowls here are everything! So creamy and not to sweet. Many combinations to choose from for the perfect açaí bowl or make your own or customize your bowl. The options are endless. No matter which açaí bowl you get, the toppings are always fresh. I mean always. You won't get over ripe or underripe fruit here. The coffee here is a game changer. It's such a high quality. It's medium-dark blend. Smooth and bold without being bitter. These beans from Brazil are the holy grail. And my oh my. The Kitanda bread (pao de queijo) had a nice crust but soft and chewy on the inside. Made from tapioca donuts gluten free too! Pairs so well with the coffee. I do like it plain but it's hard for me to turn down the dove de leite. Brazil's caramel. This location is always clean and the staff is always very friendly and nice."
"Really great spot for a nice health break or post workout. Ordered the admiral bowl and PB Classic smoothie. So fresh and high quality. Finally some açaí that is dense and thick without being icy or too runny. It was the perfect texture. The staff was very attentive as we talked through the menu on what we wanted. It was an indoor outdoor concept with limited seating. Great music and vibe though. It did take awhile to receive our order (~20min) so don't come in a rush. The quality and taste was worth the wait as it's prepared fresh and on spot."
"I first tried Nekter in California, and it was the first time I tried an acai bowl, and I really liked it. So, I ordered the same thing I ordered the very first time, which is the Dragon Fruit Bowl. It was still really good as I remembered it. My bf got the PB Mocha Protein Smoothie, and he enjoyed it. It was a clean and cute place, and service was friendly."

Great açaí place with a better sourced açaí. They also have food and recently added some hand food like cheese balls and coxinha (Brazilian chicken croquettes). This place is the real deal. Owned and operated by Brazilians. If you want the best açaí place fun the region, this is it.

What is one of the top resolutions going into a new year? Eating healthy! If this is on your list like many of us, stop by the new Refresh House Juice Bar in Fairwood. I stopped in January 1st and give it a try. I decided to go for the avocado toast, which was very flavorful, topped with avocado spread, tomato, roasted red pepper and onions, basil and other seasonings. Absolutely delicious! My drink choice was a the peanut butter and chocolate smoothie with banana, almond milk and peanut butter. I went with original version but they offered many add-ins like granola, chia seed, protein powder and an assortment of fresh fruits. Very clean inside and the friendly employees offered to help guide me through the menu. Definitely worth a try!!!

Good açaí bowl, but the wait time is pretty slow. It's not the person, rather the fact that there is typically only one person working behind the counter.

Setting: A very cute cafe in downtown Mercer Island. It has outdoor and indoor seating. It was a nice sunny day so we sat outside and had brunch.Food: We had the Tropical Pitaya acai bowl & Avocado Toast. We didn't have super high expectations for the acai bowl because we haven't found great acai bowls outside of Hawaii. I would say the bowl was decent but nothing amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the portion was a decent size. The avocado toast was solid but also nothing special. Value: We expected to slightly overpay for the food (which is definitely true anytime I get avocado toast). The portions were on the smaller side but it didn't bother me and my husband too much, because once again, that was what we expected. Service: Since you order in the front and seat yourself, there isn't too much other interaction with the staff. You get water yourself as well. Nevertheless, the people at the register were pleasant enough. Other: Great place to get an acai bowl or brunch if you live in Mercer Island or are nearby!

Out of all the kitanda espresso's that I've been to I would say this is my favorite one. I can also say I've learned that acai bowls for breakfast was not invented for people like me, but their baked goods are. I absolutely love coming here for breakfast or lunch. Beware this place is in the Amazon zone right ok the edge of construction so trying to maneuver this area can be a bit tricky. If u miss a turn u may end up many blocks away before turning around in the right direction. Parking is super limited but I've literally always gotten a decent spot. Once you make it inside, smell the food, and see all their options, your realize why its worth it and still better than most smaller cafes you've been to. I always order something sweet and savory when I come. The bread is just amazing. No yeast, yes this is right up my alley. It's so hard to find a yeastless bread that isn't all the way flat. I'm tempted to go almost every day, but I don't out of fear of somehow overdoing it.Did I mention this is a Brazilian inspired cafe. Oh yea makes sense that this bread is so special. They even have the good brands if drinks. My date almost cried when she noticed they had her childhood favorite chocolate milk. That alone was worth it.What about their pricing? Yes it's a Brazilian cafe, but their prices are spot on. Pray they keep it this way so I can keep coming. I've had to stop eating at a lot of my goto spots in the area and have started cooking much more. Well, this place is one of those spots that I can even eat at more than once in a day. Thank you to the people that opened this location. Not even sure how long it's been around, but I can say, I've been taking full advantage. Thanks guys.

A friend told me about this new restaurant location that has sprouted from a food truck. We chose to eat at Island Blends because we find Hawai'ian food to be lite and refreshing. We got two poke bowls and two açaí bowls. One poke bowl was the traditional ahi tuna with cucumber kimchi and the macaroni salad atop mixed greens. The other poke bowl was two-scoops, one spicy ahi and one salmon with cucumber kimchi and squid salad also atop mixed greens. We had a "Keep It Clean Brah" and a "Nutty Butta" açaí bowls. Everything is delicious and the owner even came to our table to check on us. Granted this was day 2 of their store front being open so I think all hands were on deck to help as needed. We entered then a wave of people came. Despite that, everything came out fast. Our food was fresh and the owner told they get shipments straight from the Big Island to keep everything fresh. The restaurant is across from Tye Lake which would make for great take out. The restaurant is rather small with one picnic style table for a larger party of about six, but most tables (about 4 other tables) are a small round table top with 2 chairs. BUT what matters is the food. We'll be back!

Tons of menu options for a cafe from baked goods, sandwiches, toasts, açaí bowls, and smoothies. Really enjoyed their coffee, smoothie, and bagel sandwich I got. It's pretty spacious and there's street parking next to it or nearby. Maybe Safeway for a quick drop by? Everything also seemed very fresh which made it all reasonable for the price and offerings.

Great immunity shots, whenever I start to feel the sniffles or a cold coming on, just chug two of these per day. And get a good nights rest, and just like that, problem solved. Also great selection of juice options.

I'm disappointed the Brazilian latte tasted no different than one I could get from Starbucks, not that I'm a supporter of the chain either. The condensed milk maybe adds some density to the drink, but essentially it was just milk with a splash of coffee. The rest of the drink menu is standard and if what I received was representative of other things, then consider me unimpressed.I don't need award winning service for basic coffee, but it seems the staff would rather continue on their conversation rather than start my order in a timely manner."
"Very good ube dalgona coffee! Definitely make sure to stir, drinks came out fast, lots of seating inside. I'll be sure to come back!"
"One of my go to spots in Redmond for a quick meal! I love personalizing my own bowl and impressed with the variety and selection of ingredients. Their sauces are really good too! This is definitely my favorite poke place in the area. The servers are kind and always cautious about my gluten allergy. I do find that now that they weigh the portions you get less than in the past, but I understand the policy. This location is clean and nice and I eat in person here at times, but it is great for takeout too!"
"Been waiting for months for this place to open and it's finally happened! Love their incredibly fresh juices, salads and chia jars! Can be spendy, but worth it for the fresh taste and fresh ingredients. I recommend the green juice. If you're expecting something more sweet, try the one with beets and cinnamon which is a pleasant surprise. Also 10/10 for the casual but upscale decor and ambiance."
"Not sure why it took us so long to visit this place. They are open! And I think they have been open for months. We really enjoy their smoothies because they are not too sweet and the price seems to be right on par. They have quite a few options. I always get the berry berry and my husband gets the peanut butter smoothie. A 24 ounce is quite filling and definitely suits your craving. Use your coupons in the smart blue envelope that comes in the mail. Also I think they have a rewards program if you put your phone number in their system at point of sale. We generally buy one smoothie a week and a special treat for ourselves. They are just so darn refreshing!"
"Glad to see that Kitanda had opened up at Alderwood mall! They are located right outside the food court near Jamba Juice. I really enjoy their smoothies and Kitanda bread! The space is open and clean however there is limited seating inside."
"Happy to have this new business at the shopping center. I had looked at the menu prior to going in so I could have an idea of what they had, however, did not see the item we wanted on the big menu up above. There was a picture of something similar but I was told that was a custom item so it was an extra $3. Ended up costing $16 which seems kind of steep. My recommendation would be to really get to know their menu before ordering to avoid additional costs. Staff was nice but it seemed to take a long time to get our items. Will def come back because of its convenient location."
"I love acai bowls and Kitanda has been one of my favorite places to go even waaaaaaay back in the day when acai bowl places were far and few. I usually just get the Traditional bowl, but I switched it up and got the Louco bowl (nuts and peanut butter galore). I think the best bowls are more "fruity" that "nutty", but just my preference! They use Sambazon Acai puree packs which is my favorite to use at home (can be found in shop as well). A must try is the "cheesy bread" which come in small and regular sizes. You can also buy some frozen bread to make at home (delicious fresh out of the oven)."
"This place for Sports drinks and Smoothies is inside La Fitness Gym. It is very clean, The two people who serve there are Super Friendly, the smoothies that they prepare there are excellent, They also have a great variety of Sport drinks. Actually this Gym needed a Sport Bar. Guys!! Congratulations!! I wish Great Success in your Business."
"These guys are definitely open there on 320th! Wow! Never been to a emerald smoothie and I think I'm hooked! I got a strawberry banana low-fat milk and she added cherries for me! Absolutely over-the-top delicious! And the two employees working were extremely helpful courteous and friendly! I will be back!"
"I absolutely love the Kitanda chain (acai bowls are a pinch to find around Seattle!) and the Greenlake location does not disappoint. The Romeo and Juliet ($3.99) was a delicious snack and the Lena bowl ($6.99) was also fresh, well made and yummy. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating."
"I love coming to Emerald City Smoothie. This was my first time at the Tukwila location and the whole experience there was fantastic! The inside is pretty spacious and well kept. There is a little area for customers to sit down on the side while you wait and/or consume your order. The customer service was great as the employees are always so patient when taking orders and verifying/confirming orders before customers pay for them. We ordered a Vegan Dream Smoothie and one of their monthly special smoothies, Bahama Mama (I don't remember what was in it exactly). Both smoothies were great."
"A great find for me during my Washington trip!I found this place after searching for a breakfast spot to grab something quick to eat before my group drove from Seattle to Ellensburg. We wanted something quick and easy, but also still healthy and not going to weigh us down so we didn't feel sluggish driving. And of course, vegan-friendly options because I'm vegan! We didn't expect it to be part of a gym! However, it made a lot of sense and I wish my gym had this cafe connected to it! This place is super vegan-friendly, focusing on Acai bowls, smoothies, and coffees, but they had warm food offerings and snacks as well.I ordered the Zen Acai bowl, which has strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, coconut, and cacao nibs. I added peanut granola (all their granola toppings are vegan!) and agave nectar as my sweetener. The bowl is tasty, refreshing, sweet, and light! I actually got full eating my Micro-sized bowl, but without feeling bloated. Loved the light fresh fruit with the heavier granola and cacao. They also have vegan waffles and avocado toast as warm menu options! Plus an assortment of drinks to-go for whatever need you have - Energy, relaxation, CBD, vitamins, etc. There is seating to enjoy your drinks and food and people-watch and I barely noticed the gym next door at all. Overall, great find!"
"Verve takes you on an enthusiastic and vigorous journey. The acai bowl packs a fruitful frenzy in your mouth. Great ratio of acai bowl with toppings. Furthermore, the main quality of every topping was amazing. The place doesn't really have a seating area, so it is a take out type of spot. Nonetheless, the acai bowls were so good. I think the only reason why it didn't go to the 5 level was flavor and consistency. There were times where it was a bit watery. The flavor was so solid, just not out of this world. Absolutely a good bowl. I repeat; absolutely a good bowl!"
"This place has good food, consistency, and quick service. I tried the main 2 sushi burritos they have and it was delicious! My favorite of the 2 was the California roll with shrimp tempura inside. So happy this place exist, will be back to get it again."
"No. Crowded. Not well kept. Coffee was meh. Baked good were just okay. Won't be back to this one."
"Delicious tofu banh mi and açaí bowls! Great customer service as well. We will be returning!"

"I fell in love with Kitanda from the very first time. I'm a huge fan of their coffee here. It's bold but smooth. This location can get busy but they do a great job of moving it along pretty fast and the wait is never too long. There is plenty of sitting in the small shop if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee and food. The açaí bowls remain a fave but it's hard to not the get bread with the Dulce de leite. You can also do some shopping for some of your favorites from Brazil."
"Love the entire Kitanda chain but this branch was just way cleaner, brighter, friendlier, and packaged items way better :) A++++++++"
