I went into this charming little shop with the most optimistic and supportive of expectations. It's lovely. The service was adequate, I was surprised to realize that was the owner as she was not very engaging or particularly courteous to the customers in front of me. I spent $50 in an assortment of candies. The reality, though for me, was the candies were too sweet & over cloying. There was nothing particularly unique or special in anything I sampled, while every item was beautiful. ...The espresso truffle was just bland. The amaretto truffle was overwhelmed by white chocolate. it was a little disappointing. I was expecting more sophisticated and nuanced flavors. I saw many beautiful wedding cakes and perhaps that is their strength, but the lack of flavor would not bring me back there.**************I am going to edit my review in response to the owners reply. If her strength is her home-baked items that is not what I purchased or tasted. I will stop in again and taste one of your baked! in house items. It's hard to run a small business, especially with the small baby and I wish you the best of luck.

Very happy to have this bakery open in Kenmore! We tried a variety of cupcakes and cookies (sorry no pics, was too eager to eat!). Our favorite was the lemon bar which I think are new and has a great tart flavor. Also really enjoyed the double chocolate cupcake that had a rich dark frosting and moist cake, and the sugar cookies which aren't super sweet, and the oatmeal chocolate cookie had a nice heft to it. The key lime cheesecake was pretty good with its graham crust but we were hoping for a bit more lime flavor. Passion fruit cupcake frosting was nice and tasty, but the cake was a tad dry. However, that didn't stop us from eating every bite of all these treats, and we definitely will be back to try more goodies!

I was super happy to try some cake trimmings, who doesn't love cake!? Unfortunately I was not a fan of this one. I tried it right when I got it and it was cold and didn't taste right so I figured that was my bad for not waiting for it to come to room temperature. I tried again later. No good. I only shared half a slice before giving up on the rest. The frosting didn't taste as sweet and delicious as you'd expect a cake to taste. Honestly it was a little salty and bland. So I ate around the frosting for just cake. Also a miss. I was shocked and disappointed.Edit: I did try these slices for a fraction of the price and fully expected it to just be a sample of what they offer. If that's what the cake regularly tastes like, then I cannot recommend anything else and would not try more. Cake is cake and even grocery store cake tastes like frosting and cake a few days later. I do think if they don't want their cake trimming to reflect their products, then it shouldn't have been offered.

We saw the sign go up for Seatown in Kenmore and have been patiently waiting for their grand opening this past weekend. They have a modest selection to start but trust it will grow over time - maybe cake slices? Lots and lots of cake pop flavors, a few cupcakes, cookies, and hand pies. Intrigued, we bought the passion fruit and raspberry cupcakes, the apple and cherry hand pies, the snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin cookies to try. For my taste, it was a mixed bag on both ends of the spectrum: the hand pies could use a bit more filling BUT, the cupcakes were out.of.this.WORLD! Amazing texture, flavor, and that buttercream frosting? The best I've ever had. If they are a reflection of her cakes then I will be ordering them in repeat. 5+ stars for the cupcakes!

I couldn't be happier with the cookies that I ordered for an engagement party. The online ordering was clear and easy. The cookies taste as good as they are beautiful. I love the icing and the decorations were just perfect. My order was even ready before I requested it, they sent me an email to let me know it ready for pickup. I will definitely use Seatown Sweets again.

I recently ordered 4 dozen custom designed sugar cookies for a double graduation party. The cookies were beautifully done. Each cookie was decorated with an artist's flourish; the details and color were impeccable. We had two graduates from different institutions, so ordered two different color schemes.I wish I had gotten a photo! The cookies didn't just look good, though. They were absolutely delicious. They were gobbled up so quickly at our graduation party, that I didn't have a chance to take a pic! Order from this place! You will not be disappointed!

So disappointing! I got an email from Seatown about how they had extra Thanksgiving cakes! I excitedly placed an order online and drove in. Maybe these cakes were sitting too long?I was so looking forward to serving this as part of our Thanksgiving dessert spread. The cake itself was beautifully decorated but was SO dense and dry yet soggy at the same time.The moisture from the frosting got wicked into the cake, so that part was dense and soggy. But the rest of the cake was dry. I served this to my family hyping up Seatown Sweets... but one bite in and we all gave each other looks.This was a letdown and it's unfortunate it was on such a special day.Edit in response to Kayla's comment: no the cake was not left in the fridge. But thank you Kayla for responding.

Reminds me of Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills! (Except more boutique-y and less of an ig trap). Not as gigantic as sprinkles, but the buttercream is similarly rich and the cake is moist. This is a good place for a reasonably priced sweet treat (many treats under $5 on their daily menu). I would also consider picking up some sweets as a gift, or for special occasions or events. I tried some cupcakes, a brownie, and a cookie. The chocolate chips in the cookies are huge and it's a very dense, satisfying cookie. The buttercream is very sweet and rich. The staff was super friendly and sweet, very pleasant experience. This location opened up just a month ago. No seating inside. The interior is clean and very cute, lined with display cakes with a cute photo wall.I also love their commitment to reducing food waste and environmental friendliness. I will be back!

I got a Too good to go box from them ( so day old) and I do keep that in mind in writing my review. That said a day old doesn't strip flavor from a cake. This red velvet was missing any flavor. I know red velvet is very hard to get right, as its not really any flavor to begin with, but this was just dry and lacking. The reason for the 3 stars is the frosting was AMAZING. Seriously they should jar this and sell it.
