So we had plans to go here but we ended up not going in to spend a full time there but we did get to the door and was able to look in and get a feel for the place so I can speak to the ambiance and feel of the place and it is definitely a place we will make sure we come back to get a full experience of. It was a $12 cover per person and we were just a little strapped for cash that night but they had a live band playing that sounded awesome. The inside was not "small" but quaint/cozy. Seemed like a really cool spot to hang out in. We had already eaten that night and I had already had my beer and didn't want any drinks so I can't speak to that or food but the guy that checked our ids was nice enough. Definitely will go back and get the full experience next time though!

Great vibes, good music, and nice bartenders. It's a great place for casual dates, get-togethers, and listening to music.

The Seamonster Lounge is the epicenter of Seattle's funk, soul, and improv scene. They take their music seriously at The Seamonster, but also welcome listeners inside. Wonderful place to catch live music!

Went last night because it said there was live music. Not only was there live music but I had one of the best drinks of my life made by the owner called a Spanish coffee! I saw him make one for someone else and he lit it on fire and said it was made with livid so I knew I had to have one! The atmosphere was amazing, bathroom was clean! And I loved all the little details of the art on the walls and paintings! Definitely recommend coming here and at least getting the Spanish coffee!

I visited SEAMONSTER over 5 years ago on a girlfriend trip up from Portland, and still think of that night fondly. Legit good live music in an intimate space, easy crowd, easy bar...didn't feel too much the aging hipster...perfect for what it was, and what we needed it to be. 5 stars!

I've always wanted to come to this place and there aren't any other jazz bars that I have heard of in Seattle. I was super excited learning this place existed and I was really hoping to go to it. But it turns out this pandemic has not been good for this business, like most business. They are closed for now and I really hope that changes because I would love to go have a drink and listen to amazing music. I hope this business opens its doors again soon.

It was a fun time I went for a salsa night. Everyone was really chill, bartenders went really attentive & I had a nice old fashioned. This is a great little spot to either practice your moves or sit and enjoy the music.

Absolutely killer spot for local music. Often some of Seattle's best musicians are in the crowd watching.

Heck of a nice lounge to experience music. Lots of cool niches and a couple of side rooms gave the place relaxed vibe. Kewl bands like Celestial Navigation play weekly. My girlfriend's favorite local spot.
