I am THROUGHLY impressed and feeling so beyond grateful here for the kindness of all of the staff here. I have an inflammatory condition with a very very strict diet so usually it's near impossible and very stressful to go out to eat. Our waiter, Sofia, was so very patient and kind, answered my questions without issue, and went back and asked the kitchen when she didn't know. I planned on getting a gluten free pizza but also brought my vegan cheese just so I could take bites on the side with it due to also not being able to have dairy/ tomato. We ended up asking if they could possibly put it on the pizza and they put it on as a base and chunks on top and brought the rest out plastic wrapped. This is the closest I've had to regular pizza in many years. Their thoughtfulness, flexibility, and warm- heartedness meant the absolute world to me. Thankful doesn't cover it. Also my family's normal food looked INCREDIBLE and the atmosphere and decor in the place is fantastic.HIGHLY recommend!

Great experience, minus the food poisoning. We visited Taproom Friday night and had a great experience at the restaurant. Food tasted great, beer was awesome, and service was attentive. However, my friend and I both ordered the truffalo wings and we both got sick. I was bedridden all day Saturday and Sunday, so I'm not sure whether there was poor food handling practices with the water, chicken wings, ranch, or truffalo sauce. This was extremely unfortunate, as I loved taproom and likely won't be returning.

Bad news: no Good News beer!Jeff helped us out and he was awesome! We've been to this location for years and always love having Jeff as our server. From the Buffalo wings to the beers this location can't miss! The only issue was that our favorite beer Taproom has ever made, the Good News, is no longer on tap. Fortunately enough Jeff was able to help us out and lead us to new beers but we are hoping the Good News will be back next time we visit!

Went for a Friday night dinner and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and came out pretty quick. They have a widely ranged food menu as well as drink menu. They have plenty of different beers to choose from! Our server was kind and attentive. Great place to meet up with friends and/or family dinner! Would def recommend checking out if in the area.

Found my new local beer restaurant to frequent! I've lived in PB for 3 years and never tried SD Taproom because I'm never craving bar food and I don't like beer. However I've heard good things about the food and finally gave it a try and it did not disappoint. It's a good spot for beer and hanging out with friends with good food. We got the truffalo buffalo wings which were moist and fall off the bone wings, the truffle fries were crispy and delicious and the mushroom burger could have used a bit more salt but good too. I would def come back to hang out in the area! Also our server was nice and super upbeat as well. Good people!

Good wings and fries. Definitely hits late at night with a beer. Came on a Tuesday and they had a $5 wings and beer special! We got the spicy mustard, Buffalo and truffalo (truffle + Buffalo). I liked the truffalo most. the Buffalo was not too spicy, more vinegar-y if anything. I liked the spicy mustard but it was strong. They're not shy with their ranch. Truffle fries were fried to perfection. Beer menu is pretty diverse. Service is quick and responsive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

In the old days when I ate in Pacific Beach it was usually at Tony Roma's or Bare Back Grill. Tony Roma's has been gone for years and now there are lots more choices. I was in the mood for a burger and gave San Diego Taproom a try.American Kobe Beef Burger was ordered medium and the beef was tender and juicy. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. I liked how the tender beef was lightly seasoned and had a bit of char. Bacon had a vibrant savory flavor. Great tasting burger. Fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Loved the flavor and texture.2nd visit I tried the American Kobe Beef Burger and paid extra for the sweet potato fries. Burger was juicy and full of delicious flavor just like last time. Sweet potato fries had a thin crunchy layer while the inside was fluffy and full of sweet potato flavor. Great tasting fries. I visited on Monday when they have a $3 off special.Staff was nice and brought my food out promptly. San Diego Taproom is a nice place to have a burger and watch the world go by.
