Scotty Burgers

Yet another grand slam from this joint. Got the Scotty hottie but as a double this time. Even thru Grubhub the burger was hot, juicy and delicious. I know I said this is the best burger in SD but they got me thinking it might be the best in Cali period. Been here a month, ate 7 burgers ( yes I am a fat ass so shuttie) and unfortunately I'm leaving tomorrow but I will be back in September and you can guarantee I will be having a burger day 1. Keep up the good work and I'll see you soon!!

My first time trying Scotty Burgers inside Ye Olde Plank Inn. I ordered loaded fries and they are the best in town!!! Fries were cooked until crispy and deep golden brown, so they held up to the toppings.Loaded with crumbled burger patty, grilled onions and peppers, cheese and aioli topping. Delicious!!!!!!Reasonably priced too!Awesome customer service from Mitchell. :)They have a reward program which I was happy to join.So glad I wandered in today!

Love me a good smash burger. Late night eat. Beefy, cheesy, flavorful with addition of onions.

Ok - so how many of you go to a new town and say 'geez let's google to see where they have a good burger'. Pretty much everyone right? And you read the reviews and you go to the place and you think 'yeah this is a good burger, but I've had some that are better'. Not here my friends - it doesn't get any better. The crazy thing is, this burger is pretty basic. Great patties, seasoned well, good cheese, onions, aioli.... And then you get to the bun. The beautifully soft bun that is warm throughout and perfectly - perfection, there is no other word - this bun is perfectly flat-top grilled to give you a crunch of awesomeness after you get through the soft warm top and before you encounter the wonder of the burger itself. Simple perfection. Counting the hours until I have the next one.

Excellent service (and food ) today at Scotty's. To get here you have to go through the plank and then go into the patio outside the doors. There's a cute sign and a simple (quickly ) menu with reasonable prices. Ordered a Scotty burger, bacon scotty a spicy Scotty, fries, the Glizzy and a loaded fries. All three burgers were delicious and the fries were so crispy! The Glizzy is a take on TJ Dogs WHICH I LOVE!!! The fellows working the front explained all the menu and I will definitely be in for breakfast this weekend! A very very welcomed addition to IB.

Wanted to try but didn't realize it was connected to a bar. Wouldn't let us in with our child which I can understand laws and all that, but the burger place looked like it was in a separate room. Maybe we'll get to come back and try another time. I would suggest adding that to your website so people know, I don't usually check yelp for that information.

Scotty's burger is best addition to this bar and town in general. Food is amazing, staff is great! Best spot in town for burger/snacks and a beer. Highly recommended

Amazing!!! Seriously better than In N Out and that's hard to beat. The guys do a great job at this place. If you haven't tried these burgers yet you're missing out!

Scottys is definitely a burger to try, they have limited hours so if you do get the chance,,, do it your taste buds will thank you!

I tried to go in with my 13 year old and I realized it went through a bar. I've heard that it's good, but they don't allow children just to WALK THROUGH the bar to get to the separate restaurant.
