Scopa

We came here on Saturday night with another couple. We had reservations at 7. However, there was a minor hiccup with parties before ours, and they had no indoor table for us. It was a gorgeous evening, and the host offered to seat us outdoors with a round of cocktails and appetizers on the house. We accepted! The cocktails were very good, as were the meatballs and eggplant rollatini! It was seasoned well, and the sauce's flavor was spot on. Two of us ordered the shrimp fra diablo, a massive portion of pasta, and large juicy shrimp. I can't remember what the gentlemen ordered, but they devoured it, so it must have been good :) The host came by to check on us, which was very nice. The owner came by to chat as well and surprised us with limoncello shots and limoncello cake to share. All of this was super generous and much appreciated. I cannot comment on the inside, but the deck on a nice fall evening added to the ambiance and made for a perfect evening. When the check came, we were pleasantly surprised that this dinner was quite affordable, given the couple bottles of wine we had and the large portions of delicious food. We cannot wait to return!

This was my first time here for my birthday I can honestly say the food was really delicious fresh upon order I will highly recommend this place to friends and family I definitely will be coming back in the near future

This was our first time at Scopa's on a Sunday night. The restaurant itself is newly renovated with a nice view of the nearby estuary. Our server, Tatiana was excellent and gave us the time to settle in. the calamari was plentiful and tasty. As a new restaurant, I think they are working out the kinks. My wife's seafood Del Mar was soupy and short of pasta; my raviolis were very good with a nice marinara sauce. The cocktail and wine menu seemed limited but the choices were fine. Would definitely return.

Great pork chop good drinks will definitely be back to try something new seating is a little tight but no big deal lemonchello cake was also delicious

I would like to give a big shout out to our server Juan who was fantastic with our large group last Saturday night! He was attentive and very helpful with our questions about the menu and was right there anytime we needed anything. He was such a friendly, knowledgeable young man.We sat on the deck since it was such a nice night. The appetizers we had were delicious, the calamari was my favorite! My husband had seafood cannelloni, it was stuffed with lobster, scallops and shrimp and I had the orecchiette pasta with ground Bianco sausage, both dishes were delicious! Forgot to take a picture of them We ended the night with limoncello shots and complimentary desserts brought out by the Owner, who stopped by our table to say hello. I will be coming back very soon to taste some more of their menu items! It was such a pleasure to dine here, it made a great night out with some friends and even better one!!

Went to Scopa last night with a few friends. Heard some great things about this new restaurant in town. It lived up to the hype. Our table was outside on the deck great spot overlooking the river as the sun was setting. Juan was our server he was fantastic,there were 10 of us and he did a great job of getting us everything we wanted We ordered several appetizers including the Fried calamari and Prosciutto Rollatini. The bread came out with a pesto dipping sauce and was fantastic. My wife had the Linguine and mussels and I tried the Seafood Risotto both were outstanding. We all had a limoncello shot after the meal and the owner stopped by to say hi and offered us a few desserts to try afterwards as well. All in all it was a very good experience. We will be going back to try other dishes soon.

Great! Great! Although the place is a little small, I Love this new restaurant. I've been there two times and wasn't disappointed. I had haddock with lobster and crab topping. Very good. Lobster risotto is excellent! Cocktails and wines are great. Bartenders are great! Can't wait to go back.

The drinks and food were amazing! The portions were large and we loved the marinara sauce. The meatballs appetizer was large and absolutely delicious. We had eggplant and veal parmigiana which were both wonderful. However the service was not great! The management needs to be aware that the waitress service needs to be improved.

The service was great. Food and drinks are amazing. They have an outdoor patio as well looks nice. Definitely recommend you try this place before they become busy and require reservations.
