Fast service even with a longer line. Ice cream was delicious! In addition to meet the 85 character minimum imposed upon me by this app, I should also mention the outside seating was very nice. Big tables with umbrellas!

An ice cream lovers paradise!This place was so good! I was visiting with a friend and we decided to grab ice cream. We didn't check out this place before so we had no idea what was on the menu and I was so impressed. They had a large assortment of a lot of ice cream flavors and a lot of different options. You could have your ice cream/dessert. You could get a classic ice cream, scoop or cone, a shake, and even an açai bowl. There were many toppings and fun ways to customize your dessert. Everything looked and smelled really good. I was so happy to see vegan ice cream options. And not just one, there were 3 with a seasonal special too! I got the oat chocolate chip cookie dough which was 10/10! One of the best vegan ice cream experiences I have had in a long time. I would definitely get again. The inside of the store is mainly just to place your order, pay, and get your ice cream. If your order takes long they have you wait outside or around and we'll call it over speaker to avoid build up of people waiting inside. They have a lot of outdoor seating as well, which is really nice especially since you're so close to the beach and can just watch the sunset if you happen to be there and evening. Otherwise there isn't seating inside and you were just take your ice cream to go. The service is also super nice and friendly. They give out samples if you needed to try a flavor too so you don't need to feel pressured to just pick one flavor that you might already know. Would highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area I'm looking for a fun summer ice cream spot in San Diego!

Awesome variety of tried & true ice cream flavors & unique ones too! They also serve shakes, crepes, & coffee.Shoutout to the ladies who let us indecisive girls try many samples! You guys are real ones!The shop itself is small, simply meant to order & go. But they have seating outside too.Honeycomb: Delicious & I loved the crunchy honeycomb pieces, yum!

Stopped by for icecream after a beach day and it hit the spot. The person helping us was super friendly and patient. We tried a couple of flavors and got the brown sugar cookie dough icecream. It was pretty good. Had the right amount of sweetness.. i was tempted with other interesting flavors so hopefully next time!

We stopped in for dessert after dinner in La Jolla and had a great experience. Our kids were pretty indecisive, and the staff was amazing offering samples, and eventually getting them their ice cream. The ice cream is great, we had several flavors and all were good. The interior is also very cool: my wife loved the hombre with some intentionally misplaced tiles, and the general aesthetic was very cool. Great place to stop.

Ice cream was really sweet. It was not my favorite for the price. But place was convenient by the beach.

Can you say YUM?! I have never had such delicious strawberry ice cream. And I know what you're thinking, "STRAWBERRY??! Out of all their amazing flavors you got strawberry?" The answer is, "No, I didn't, but my 6 year old did and it was FANTASTIC!" We also got the brown sugar cookie dough and if they don't have that flavor in heaven, I don't want in. It is delectable. It is NEXT level. It will be in my dreams for years to come

Ice cream was great. Why I'm really writing this review.... We came in last night and ordered ice cream for our family. The girl that took our order asked if we had any allergies, which I have never ever been asked before when getting ice cream. My son has a peanut allergy and I was so happily surprised the sweet girl asked. She offered to get freshly sanitized scooper for less likely cross contamination. Then another gal said if they needed to, they would open a new chocolate ice cream if necessary for my son. This was our first time at Scoops, so I'm not sure if this is the standard, but I was so stoked they took allergies into consideration. Next time I'm in La Jolla, we will definitely be going back!

3 blocks from the beach, and tasty ice cream! What a great delight! What more can the person want? Fabulous shop with ample outdoor seating, selling ice creams, crepes and shakes! Ice creams are good. They are made by someone else but the waffle cones are made by Scoops! Service is good although line can be a bit long. Flavors are changing but I found that person can find at least 3 flavors they will love!!

Three months ago, an ice cream goddess named Preni gave me two scoops of heaven. I've tried Handels, I've tried Paradise, I've tried 21 Choices. Yet nothing has matches the pure bliss I found at Scoops. The ice cream - phenomenal. The service - divine. God himself could not have crafted a better scoop of ice cream. To this day, nothing compares to the seven minutes of ecstasy provided by one of your finest employees
