Scone Lady Bakery

Amazing scones!! I absolutely love them--some of the best I've ever had.The one downside (and why this isn't a 5-star review) is that their business hours can be inconsistent, not matching what's online--or even their sign outside, which can often sit there even when they're not actually open. That's happened to my family on a number of occasions, and is super disappointing. BUT, I will still go back, whenever they are actually open ;), as the scones are just that good!

Can I give this 10 stars. I've never had a better scone. We had the almond cherry (absolutely amazing) and the Marion berry. Will definitely be back.

So glad we stopped here after visiting the tulip fields. It is tucked away on the first floor of a building of small shops. The only parking seemed to be on the street along 1st, Centre or Morris Street. They close at 2pm on Friday and am I glad we just made it 5 minutes before closing. Purchased three different scone flavors: coconut cream, strawberry white chocolate and blueberry lemon. I'd rate the strawberry #1, coconut #2 and blueberry lemon #3. But I wouldn't turn away any of the three. Strawberry white chocolate had small pieces of delicious strawberries and mini white chocolate chips. Coconut cream was rich with coconut flakes and a rich, moist cream flavor and light glaze on the top. So good!! The blueberry lemon was full of blueberries with a citrusy lemon flavor throughout the scone. All scones were still most the next day and the consistency of each scone was not as dense as other scones I've had. The blueberry lemon was the most cake-like/muffin-like consistency if you know what I mean. There also were other pastries in the case but I was on a scone mission today and this little place excels in their scones.I will definitely be back when in the area and not cut the time so close so I can spend more time checking out the other pastry options and beverage choices.

I had never heard of The Scone Lady before, but in search of an afternoon coffee and treat we had to try it. We got the Marionberry and the Coconut Cream and both were great!!! They were a little lighter and fluffier than most scones I've had but still a little "crust" on the outside. The coconut had the flavor of the coconut syrup I used to get in Hawaii with some shredded coconut mixed in, but not too sweet; SO GOOD! When we were there they were not serving coffee, but the server steered us to a couple of places. He told us the lemon-blueberry were the most popular but they were sold out. They offer cookies, and a few other baked goods as well as "vintage" scones (day old) for a slightly reduced price, I can't wait to go back!

lemon blueberry. That's all you need to know. You can't really go wrong with any of the flavors and their giant cookies are fantastic too.

We heard how good the scone lady bakery was and they weren't joking. I had a bite of the coconut cream scone and it was delicious. I also had a bite of the Raspberry scone and it was delicious. These scones are dangerous with goodness and the homemade Granola with to added sugar WOWWWW YUMMERS.

Advertised as the best. We disagree. The scones were okay but not great. Friendly staff. Not terrible but not worth a return trip.

Tried the scones at a farmers market in Lake Stevens last year and had to make the trip to La Conner to get some this year! The coconut cream scone is especially moist and soo good.

We got a Tart Lemon, Raspberry, and a Marionberry scone (had a bite of each, delicious!). We also got a GIANT molasses cookie that we've yet to try. Very friendly and personable. The scones are huge and a good price for what you get. Will definitely go back the next time we are in town.
