Love the food and the high end wines by the glass and yes I'm a local but who DECIDED TO PUT FAKE FLOWERS ON THE TABELS Soooooo tacky

Food is delicious. Everything. I usually go for the filet mignon tacos, but tonight I had the poke.Service is always top notch. Special shout out to Greg.Ambiance from the top floor is great, especially if you get there early.Thanks for the great wine recommendations, Greg.

My friend and I were in Del Mar in March. I had made dinner reservation at another restaurant for that Thursday evening. Killing time in the town, 3:00 PM, we thought to park and just walk around. We happened to get a spot in front of Sbicca and heard the live jazz music and thought to just drop in for a drink at the bar... LOL we never left!!! The bar tender that was serving us was hilarious, we were having so much fun talking with him. We also noticed quit a few regulars enjoying the bar. Nice when the regulars strike up a conversation with new people, as ourselves. It was a fun afternoon/evening.Perfect timing, Happy Hour plus Thursdays 1/2 price bottles of wine! We ordered a couple bottles of wine along with the Happy Hour Veggie Flatbread, Crispy Calamari and Beer Batter Fish Taco. One of the regulars recommended the Lobster & Shrimp Bisque, which I had. All the food we ordered was very good, presentation and taste. The Calamari was perfectly fried. Visiting Del Mar, I would definitely come back.Atmosphere: very nice, great bar! Bar Service: excellent. Food: very good.

Great meal at Sbicca tonight! Pulled off I-5 on my way home to the OC with no idea of were I would dine, but a clear idea of what I was looking for. Thanks to Yelp and a referral from a "local" I ended up at Sbicca. Lucky me! Great ambiance on their outdoor patio, great service (thank you Vinnie), a perfect Pino Noir and an entre that left me looking forward to my next visit (Spinach ravioli with blacked Shrimp). If you are looking for a place to visit when you pull off the I-5 or maybe you too are a "local" be sure to visit Sbicca

I had a friend visiting from the East Coast. Once young single professionals living in a cosmopolitan city. When she is here, we usually visit another great beach town in search of fashion, food and other fabulous finds. We chose to eat at Sbicca, a long established restaurant in downtown Del Mar. Modern fare and not as seafood heavy as its local counterparts. Sbicca began as a local shoe brand, hence meeting our food and fashion needs. The girls and I toasted with mimosas at this perfect place for a girls luncheon by the water. We enjoyed carne asada taco plates with views of the water. Easy parking at 11am on a weekday, and garage parking nearby. Our waiter introduced us to the top deck with fireplace, with sweet views. #DelMar#Sbicca#GirlsLunch#WaterViews#IWillToastToThat

My team and I came here for dinner as some of them were visiting. I've never heard of this restaurant but was quite excited to check it out!It's located in between Del Mar Pizza and Jimmy O's on 15th St in Del Mar. There's unfortunately no on-site parking lot, only street parking or paid public parking lots. Basically a nightmare to find during dinner rush hours. I luckily found street parking a couple blocks away. I thought I was okay until a very kind Samaritan came up to me to tell me that my care was a little bit in the red and that I should move up a little more before I got a ticket. Wait whaaat? Just a little in the red, and I could get a ticket? After dinner, I saw a Tesla across of me with a ticket for being in the red a little! THANK YOU KIND SAMARITAN! Be wary when you park in Del Mar areas because the parking polices are actual sticklers. Not worth that ticket.My team ordered some sharing plates such as the Ahi Poke, Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps, and Shishito Peppers. The ahi poke was frozen but surprisingly not that bad in flavor. Wished there was more chipotle aioli sauce to give it more of a nice kick. It came with three fried wonton pieces to complement the poke. That was kind of stale in my opinion. The Korean beef lettuce wraps were very good. The beef had a lot of flavor and the vegetables gave the beef a nice balance in freshness. I'm not a huge shishito pepper fan but everyone loved it! Two of them started comparing the spiciness of the peppers as some were very spicy and others were not spicy at all. It was interesting to watch LOL.I ordered the Black Tiger Shrimp as my entrée. It came with a spinach and asparagus risotto which was what piqued my interest to try (aside from my love for shrimp LOL). And wow! That risotto was delicious! Super savory without too much saltiness in it. The shrimps were huge and grilled perfectly. I thought the portions of my entrée was tiny at first glance when comparing to other dishes, but it was surprisingly filling. One of my coworkers allowed me to try their Coffee-Rubbed Short Rib, and omg. That short rib was SOOOO tender. Almost as if it melted in my mouth. The flavor of the short rib was just as amazing too. I kind of regretted that I didn't choose this as my entrée. Overall, this restaurant was a great place to get together with work colleagues or for a relatively nice date night. The service was superb and the food, especially the entrees, were quite unique and delicious!

Saturday at leisure. Husband and I split the blue fin app, and I ordered the beet salad. We have been here many times and still enjoy classics like the lettuce wraps.

There are so many things I could mention about the restaurant as a whole, phenomenal would be the first thing. We were seated inside which is easily the better option as it gets cold outside and a lesser quality experience. The staff were very friendly and knew the menu very well. For someone who walked in with high expectations of everything on the menu the entrees did not disappoint. However, I feel the appetizer and dessert I got were very much a memory I don't look back on. It seemed out of place for a dessert to be so mediocre at such an amazing place.
