Food was okay. Waiter was very nice and attentive. They don't have a variety of options to choose from (only 2 pages of the menu). I don't like it how they charge you extra for a to go box (50 cents). No other restaurant charges a box to go. Like come on? Really? Also they charge extra for each refill for "Parchita" for a speciality fruit drink. I have been to some really highly rated Venezuela restaurants that are way better than this one.I only came to this one to try something new. Don't get me wrong, I love Venezuela food and I have seen better quality Venezuela food than this one and unlike the extra charges they charge you. I would recommend considering going to a different Venezuela restaurant.

My wife and I tried it for the first time tonight. I had the steak churrasco and she had the lomo negro. Both came with rice and fried plantains while mine had black beans and hers had a potato salad. We were both very happy. She loved my black beans (she always eats off my plate). This place is clean, fast, and tasty. It's also close to the house. We'll be back and if the food is this good next time, we may add it to our regular rotation. Nice little restaurant.

Sazon Latino is in the location where El Mojito used to be. Much of the decor is the same, but the focus is now on Venezuelan food. I stopped in the other day for lunch and had one of their patacones (a sandwich made with fried plantain as the bun), with pork and all the Venezuelan trimmings. Accompanied that with some fried yucca, a papelon con limon (not the right name--more on that later) and Tres Leches cake for dessert.Sazon Latino aims to be Venezuelan fine dining, so they do not hurry. It took longer than I thought to get started, possibly because they had to heat up the oil for frying the yucca. The fried yucca came out first, and was served with two cheeses--a firm white Venezuelan cheese and a white cheese sauce. The sauce complemented the yucca well, and it was nicely fried, but I would have liked ketchup even better, for more flavor. The patacon is not something you would pick up, though it looks like a sandwich. I ate it with a knife and fork. The pork was dressed with shredded cheese, tomatoes, and a mild cheese sauce. The meat was very tender. The flavor was pretty subtle. The fried plantain has very little flavor so I did not eat it all. Overall I would say it was OK.The papelon con limon was very tasty. This is a combination of lemonade, brown sugar and tea that is highly refreshing. It's one of several non-alcoholic drinks on the menu, in addition to a full bar.Not all of the desserts on the menu were available. The server recommended the Tres Leches cake, so I went with that. It was a good version, very sweet and moist. This lunch set me back over $40, before the tip. I thought the food was OK, but not super exciting. The bathrooms were clean and ready, and service was polite if relaxed in pace. I did try to look some things up on the restaurant website, including a menu, but couldn't do it--the website is thoroughly hacked. Don't click on anything if you try.

Great place to have some Venezuelan food, tequeños are very good option and also the plantain baskets, I didn't eat it, but there was also a very nice plate including some grilled chicken and sausage that looked delicious. The place and the attention from owners and employees is super nice too. There are plenty of screens to watch your favorite sport. When there is live music, it can get loud! So be ready to speak less and dance more. Kind of difficult to spot it from the outside I guess it needs a better sign! But if you get there you will have a nice time.Tequenos

Was in woodlands and hungry for latin food. Searched and found this restaurant. As you drive to the place if you are not looking for it you can miss it as it's kind of hidden. When you get in, it has Venezuelan art decor and one TV. There was no one to sit us as we went in and we sat at the table closest to the TV because we wanted to watch a soccer game that was on. Finally a guy came over and rudely asked us to move to a smaller table because the table we sat on was for a bigger family and it was just two of us. We were so hungry that we decided to stay. Guy started arguing with cook and was a bit rude until we said something and I think he over head us and changed his attitude. Food was really good but won't be planning on going back because of customer service. Giving it two stars only because the food was really good.

i selected 1 star because it didn't give me en option of leaving a -100 the place looks great but at soon as me and my hubby walked in, everyone looked at us like we were aliens. the service was poor and no one will talk to us! music was great but it made us feel out of place! semes that they will only acknowledge you if you're part of a big group. I have never been in a Latino place where I felt so out of place! I'm Mexican but I enjoy all type of Latino music. idk if I'll ever come back!!!!!
