Saxonville Burrito Company

I've ordered takeout from Saxonville Burrito Company probably 10 times now and EVERY time the food has been excellent! I have not eaten at the restaurant myself, but a good friend of mine who works down the street has and she says the service is great the restaurant is clean. Portions are great for the $ and the quality is also great. 10/10.

So for close to 50 years, I've driven to and through Framingham. For 99% of those trips, I was in the suburban sprawl of Routes 9 and 30 - Land of Shopping malls, Big box stores and Chain restaurants.But yesterday we went local and ended up in old downtown Framingham. Saxonville Burrito is smack in the middle of a residential and industrial neighborhood. We saw just as many customers walking into Saxonville as driving to it.The interior (as is their parking lot) is quite small with just a few counter seats. So for most of the year, it's a takeout place, but with yesterday's nice weather we took advantage of the tables and chairs set up on the sidewalk in front of the storefront.You order your food by going down the ordering line, and you'll see the various menu ingredients sitting in bins in front of you "Subway" style. Expect to see steak, shrimp, rice, beans, pico, cheese, guacamole, avocado slices, etc.Before you order, you have the difficult decision of choosing exactly what you want to order. You can build your own burrito or bowl, or order one of their nine specialty burritos, nine salads, five flatbreads, seven quesadillas, three pupusas, five tacos, two soups,or twelve appetizers. We ordered off their menu - a Mexico City Salad with added shrimp and a Chicken Quesadilla.My $11.99 Mexico City Salad was described on the menu as "Romaine lettuce, corn, black beans, house rice, tomatoes, tri-color peppers, hard boiled egg, cilantro, shredded Mexican cheese, and avocado". It looked gorgeous, but the advertised hard boiled egg was nowhere to be found. I added on a protein of $4.99 shrimp and that was a good value because it turned out to be ten good sized shrimp. It was a huge and delicious salad and I took half of it home.My wife's $11.99 Chicken Quesadilla was described on the menu as "With grilled onions, grilled peppers, Mexican blend cheese and sour cream on the side". My wife liked it a lot, but because she frequently orders this dish, she commented about the lack of guacamole or salsa that sometimes accompany this dish at similar places. Her portion size was large, and half of hers came home too. Another thing we noticed was the lack of complimentary chips and salsa that seem to be automatic on so many similar places.Our lunch, with a shared $2.79 bottle of sparkling water totaled $38.64 after tax and tip.Bottom line? The large portions of food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was fine, with a nice group of friendly guys working the assembly line. I enjoyed the non-chain local approach to our lunch.

I ordered through their website and picked up the food. The website is easy to navigate. The parking lot is small so be prepared to park on a side street or wait for a spot to open. Went inside and it's clean and colorful inside. Gave my name and picked up my order. They do a lot of take out and delivery service cause it was person after person coming to pick up. The burrito bowls were both as we ordered. Food was fresh and tasted delicious. The cost is reasonable for the portion size. I would recommend this place. They have all kinds of food as their menu is large to make everyone happy.

The food is fresh! It's a authentic Mexican Food! The place smells so good, the service is fast. I really recommend.

This place makes a variety of delicious burritos, each one of them unique and always consistently prepared well. You can modify most of them and the staff are extremely friendly as well as very accommodating, so while the restaurant's decor isn't anything to write home about, it at least has seating that's reasonably comfortable. My favorite is the shrimp burrito but you kinda can't go wrong here. Please tip the staff well cuz they work hard.

You need a burrito from this place! The people working here are amazing, fast, and overall the nicest people. The parking lot it tiny but it's worth finding a spot to park. This place will become the only place you want a burrito or bowl from

Had a work luncheon for 40 catered by Saxonville Burrito and couldn't have been more impressed with them from start to finish. Ordering was seamless, food was delivered piping hot, and everything was delicious. We will definitely order from them again in the future!

So delish and authentic. Ordered 2 burritos and since the original contents of the burrito didn't "fill it" they went back and added more of various items I had ordered to both without additional charge. You don't get that anywhere! Also the food and variety of options is seriously incredible.

One star is harsh but I have to because I will never eat there again. But, in fairness, I will begin this review by saying the burritos we ordered were absolutely delicious. Really great. The service was terrible. I made a dispute about the price and the cashier laughed at me, rolled his eyes, mocked me and kept waving his hands at me. He kept talking over me and not listening. It was a small objection and allowed a quick resolution but apparently this person spends his whole day treating people like this. And my objection to the final price was 100% reasonable. For the owner, my purchase was at 4:45 PM on June 22, 2024.

I really like this place, the food is consistently really good and the staff is always on point.
