Was out in the Lynwood area with friends to visit nearby Ranch 99 to pick up some supplies. We were craving Thai food and saw Savvy Thai in the same complex area. We ordered to go. The good: Crab Rangoon. Crispy and tasty. Savvy wings. Tasty some pieces a little dryBasil Fried rice. Yummy. Thai iced tea Thai iced coffee The mediocre: Phad Thai with chicken.Crab Fried Rice. Very little crab but tastyThe terrible: Pad See Euw with beef. The beef was not good and the noodles were mushy. The AWFUL: Customer service from the lady at the front. She was just so unpleasant and rude. We didn't ask for anything special. She just has the rudest demeanor. She barely wanted to talk to you. When we asked if our order was ready she pointed to the bags on the counter. Then proceeded to scream at us that it wasn't all the bags. Why would you grunt and point to all the bags? There were zero labels on any of the bags or any attached receipts to help us visually decipher. I guess she thought I should have read her mind between her grunts and pointing at the bags on the counter. I wouldn't go again. If you enjoy really rude and lazy customer service and mostly mediocre Thai food, then this would be a match for you. Ps. My friend had come to this restaurant many years ago when it was called Tasty Thai and he said the food was really good. Clearly they have new ownership and a new name.

Visiting from out of town for a tournament and stopped here on our way to Canada. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with faux plants everywhere, including the bathroom! The food was delicious, filling, and huge portions. I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken - 10/10. It wasn't spicy at all so I unleashed half a jar of chili paste into it and it was about perfect. Also ordered the Thai tea and I thought it was refreshing and tasty. Staff is super friendly. Will come back if I'm hungry and around the area.

My favorite here is the spicy noodles.I can choose whatever meat I like.It is made of flat thick noodles and stir fried-pretty match and it's spicy enough that I have to drink cold water right away. It's gotta kick and a good one too.Their prices also have gone up and I'm a little disappointed that their portions have also shrunk.Otherwise, it is still near me and I can call for take out. They serve their own version of boat noodle soup as well.

Most pleasant ambiance, service and the food is exceptional. Best Thai restaurant I've eaten at since Phad Thai in Greenwood closed. Bee was our waitress. Pleasant and delightful in every way. Her courtesy is rare to find these days. Kris, the owner, took her time, came to our table and chatted a bit. The presentation of our food was perfect. The food itself was top notch. All organic ingredients according to Kris. A new #1 Thai restaurant in my book! Try it, you'll like it.

Super clean restaurant with modern atmosphere. We were seated with regular menus at 11am on a weekday but were not given lunch special menus. I had to go get them. Two of our party ordered regular entrees but I decided on a lunch because it came with Thai tea or coffee. When the server took our orders she asked about spice levels to those who ordered full entrees but not me. Maybe lunch specials are made in advance. My garlic chicken had some flavor but not enough and zero spice. It lacked that Thai zing I am used to. The egg and rice were cooked perfectly. I had to ask about my included tea in order to get it. I think service is 3/5 here and food is 4/5. I did check in on Yelp to get a beverage for my friend.

I think I finally found the best Thai restaurant in Snohomish County! I'm always on the hunt for the tastiest pad see ew and I'm certain Savvy Thai has won the title as number one. It might even be the best in Washington, but I don't want to jinx anything. The chicken is soft, not tough like everywhere else, and it has a nice char flavor, which definitely gives the chicken a nice kick. The broccoli was perfectly cooked, so it wasn't too hard or too soft. The soy sauce is smoked and brings out all of the flavors and scents you crave in a pad see ew dish. That first bite was everything I could ask for. The restaurant also has a cool modern vibe to it with beautiful photos and decor. There are even some children's books for kids to read while they wait for their food.

We started doing take-out from here rather than our usual place. So far we haven't looked back! Everything is fresh, absolutely flavorful, and big portions. We've gotten soups, noodle dishes, stir fries, meaty and tofu stuff. Everything's been really great.

Can't believe other people are posting that this place is good. There are so many options for Thai food in Seattle, savvy Thai is not one you should considerFirstly, the portion size on the panang curry is borderline fraud for the price. I actually laughed when I saw how small the portion was, and of course it was packed with tofu. There was barely any curry. The curry that was there was very mediocreTo my confusion, the yellow curry came in a larger, what you might consider a normal sized container. It was packed with potatoes that were hard and undercooked. Curry flavor on this was very mediocre as well. The pad see ew actually tasted decent, but same thing with the portion size. There were hardly any noodles. It seemed like a half portion, for a 1.5x portion price. The food is mediocre, but the real shame here is the price savvy Thai charges for how little food they gave you. I honestly felt taken advantage of.

i can't believe haven't been here since 2013, and when did the name change? i go to 99 Ranch all the time and i never noticed the name change to Savvy Thai.we ended up at Savvy Thai last night for dinner because i saw Kai Jeow was on the menu. i'd forgotten it was Tasty Thai way back when.the interior is updated and it is not as dark as before. the bright well-kept red umbrellas outside-seating is welcoming.on friday at 5:30 4 of then 8 tables were occupied. pick-up orders were steady. the lone server was very busy tending to the already seated guests. the server behind the counter (handing out pick-up orders) finally broke away and took our order. both staff were very polite and the lone server on the floor apologized profusely for not attending to us.kai Jeow jeow puu (thai crab omelet): i love kai jeow. i always order it when i see it on a menu. this one was a bit dry. i would not have known there was crab in it if not for the menu. the sweet chili sauce was tasty.rama noodles: very pretty. not drowned in peanut sauce like Swimming Rama. we applied the peanut sauce as needed. noodles were not stuck together.beer $5.20: no other information! turned out to be ice cold singha served with an ice old glass. i might return to try their boat noodle soup.

We went to this restaurant on 03/22/2024. Never expect there is a worst restaurant in Seattle. We ordered Mussaman curry, there were only 5 pieces chicken breast, few pieces onion and potato, that's it, priced $14.95. Obviously, it was too much over price. We definitely will not go back to this restaurant again.
