Came here bc the lines at the food trucks at the conventions were so long. So my friend and I opted to eat off campus.Cool ambiance, but I'm really writing this review to talk about the French fries. Very good here. Arguably the best in the state/northern hemisphere.French dip sandwich was really good too. Got a Bloody Mary pls do not tell my boss. I don't feel turnt or anything; I feel good

I've ate at SAVR four times in the recent past. My opinion is for the management, or anyone thinking of a visit in the near future. I usually remove these reviews after a short period, positive or negative. This place is on no one's radar. It has no internet presence whatsoever. I stumbled into it, and I was really impressed.First, The bread was adequate.Second, they offer their pasta dishes in full or half portions for very reasonable prices. The lemon ravoli were spectacular, and can go toe to toe with the best Italian this city has to offer. The pesto is zesty with a healthy topping of burrata. Impressive. The Cacio e Pepe lacked that same zest. Others may appreciate a mild presentation, but it was not for me. There were so many peas in that bowl it was completely ruined, and almost inedible. Third, The burger was one of the worst I've ever had. It has no consistency. It was mush between two pieces of bread. The Pork Belly appetizer was one of the best I've had, and the price was reasonable. This app stood out. Lastly, Their Chocolate Terrine dessert was outstanding. Four years ago began tracking down and eat at the best restaurants in Boston. If it has an internet signature of any sort, I've researched it at the very least, and likely ate there at the cost of thousands of dollars. This place may be hit or miss, but what they do right, they do spectacularly well. Not only do I recommend SAVR, they make my short list.

Came here for a work dinner with two colleagues and all I can say is, I'm glad I was able to expense it. The restaurants and vibes were immaculate; dark, cozy, romantic (if on a date), great views and the menu had a wide variety of items for everyone's palate. We started with the Lobster Scallop Potsticker and loved them. They were a unique twist on a regular potsticker and it worked very well. Would definitely recommend. For an entree, I got the Sea Bass. It was to die for. Melted in your mouth. Perfectly seasoned. But at the low price of $58, not sure I would order it again. A bit pricey imo. All in all - the food and ambiance here is a 10/10. The only downside is the price, but if price isn't a factor and/or you are looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion - this is the place!

SAVR is a new restaurant in the St. Regis residence building in Seaport that is multilevel and has a patio overlooking the water. I went recently to get brunch with my dad and chose this place mostly because of the view.I would say the biggest draw in coming here is the atmosphere since it's brand new so it's a clean and classy atmosphere and the servers are all younger and friendly (in my experience). It's definitely a good spot for drinks and luckily they had Hugo Spritz. I got the tenderloin benedict which I was super excited about, and it was good but underwhelming. One of the best egg benedict's I have had was at Woods Hill and this one sadly didn't live up to that one. The tenderloin was supposed to be medium rare and it was cooked through and a bit dryer than I would have hoped. The benedict part was good though. It came with some fruit and this potato hash shaped into a little cake form which was also okay (I wish it was home fries!) Love this restaurant for the atmosphere and it would be perfect to have some drinks and maybe apps especially if you're on the second floor patio, but if you're looking for excellent food this probably isn't the place. I would come back for drinks because it's very nice and feels like a good place for younger people but probably not for food!

Every once in a while I find myself dining out alone (usually on a business trip), and when I do, I don't necessarily look for the 5-star food experience. I look for something that I know will be good (thanks to Yelp), of course. But I save the places I think will be exceptional for nights out with my better half or friends. Well, that formula didn't work this time... I found a place that I want to bring my date and friends to: SAVR.On this night I had the Beef Carpaccio for an appetizer and the Lobster Fra Diavolo (small portion) for my main course. Both were excellent, as was the service. I'm looking forward to a return visit with others.

A group of us were wandering around the seaport area looking for a place to sit and chat. We randomly stumbled upon Savr and decided to give it a try. We went upstairs and ordered our drinks at the bar. The bartender was nice and gave recommendations. We were able to grab some seats overlooking the water, which was nice. Overall exactly what you would expect out of a nice rooftop bar, nothing really stands out but it was still a good experience!

Visited SAVR for my birthday dinner this year and also once before. Each time I've had a similar experience of having great food, amazing service, and great vibes. SAVR is a newer addition to the seaport line up of restaurants. It's a multi-level establishment with a bar downstairs which has an open air concept during the summer. Upstairs is the main dining floor with a wrap around deck outside with additional seating. If you can get a seat up there, highly recommend as the waterfront provides a very nice vibe. Food: The whole party had a variety of entrees but the highlights were the tagliatelle pasta dish and brick chicken. The pasta was ordered by half the table and everyone RAVED about it. I loved the chicken dish as it came with potatoes and a nice sauce. Pretty hefty portions too, the appetizer size of pasta may be perfect if you're looking for a lighter option. We also loved the crème brûlée and strawberry shortcake dessert. My friends also got the espresso martini flights which were so cute! Service/ambiance: The waitstaff were very kind and accommodating to allergies. They also give bread service which cmon, what's not to love about that. The overall vibe of SAVR is classy seaport dinner so you can expect higher prices here. Can get loud at times too. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely visit again!

It's a stunning multi-level restaurant on the water. I enjoy sitting at the upstairs bar and looking at the water-planes. The wait staff and bartenders provide great service and are very attentive. The espresso martini flight is such a fun idea! I really enjoy their blue cheese stuff olives in the martini. When it comes to the food everything is just good/okay, nothing to write home about and it is pretty pricey. I would say you are paying for the ambience more than the food. If you are dining there I recommend the beef carpaccio, lobster pasta and the lamb chops!

Food 3 starsService and ambiance was 5 stars.Beautiful setting. Server was attentive. Unfortunately the food was just ok. The lobster potstickers were a little bland. The tuna tartare also was bland. The Mac and cheese with lobster was extremely overstated (we ate the lobster out of it and left most of the Mac). The shining star was the chicken meatball appetizer (the sauce was great) and the spinach prosciutto ravioli. Yum. I also thought the beet salad was good but not amazing (I wanted more beet and it was more like a salad with some beets sprinkled on top which was a bit disappointing).I think overall I'm not sure I would go back because the price point was a bit high for just okay food.
