Savage Moose Sports Pub

I've been to this bar many times, though not as much in recent years since I moved away from Kenmore, but as recent as, well last weekend. So here's what I like about this watering hole:It's a sports bar so it's got the multiple TV's with sports on them. My last visit we were watching the Ass-Tros blanking those damn Yankees in game 3 of the ALCS (I do not like either to be honest). But there was also an ESPN wiffle ball competition on one TV and Footvolley on another.Good selection of pub fare and quantity of food matches quality, so if you are hungry, this is the place to go. I always go for the Moose Burger and tots myself-seriously ono grindz. They used to have a killer Tot-chos back in the day, but I didn't see it on the menu unfortunately, but they do have poutine. Wife and kid seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Decibel level good, the sound of many talking people aside, you can hear the music and still have a conversation without yelling.Entertainment, drunk people aside, lots TV's , lost of games to play like darts, pool, air hockey, skeet ball, pull tabs and Jenga. Yes sometimes the puck on the air hockey machine gets stuck, but just give it a good hit with your fist.Drink selection and prices, on par with most places of this caliber.Patrons, I've been here many times with many friends for drinks and food on a Friday or Saturday evening and the crowd is almost always pretty diverse which makes it nice, but last weekend was the first time I've brought my kid since it's family friendly until 2100 hrs. He loved it and I actually loved having him there. Watch the game, have some burgers and beer (he had a lemonade), play some air hockey and skeet ball. Was good times with the family. Customer service is good, they make the rounds, cup is always full and if they forget to come around go to the bar and they'll take care of you there. Bill has always been accurate. I've never encountered any rude customer service there, but I'm also not looking for that ass kissing kind of customer service either, it's a sports bar and they have a job to do. Just as long as they do their job, I get my drink and food, I'm happy and always tip. So bottom line, service has been good. What I don't like about this watering hole: Not living closer.So bottom while this place ain't no Cheers where everybody knows your name, it definitely ain't no infamous defunct Elbow Room (Dutch Harbor, AK) either. It's the Savage Moose with a great name, good pub atmosphere complete with the smell of stale beer. It's a good place to have a beer, eat a burger, do a shot, watch some ball and shoot some pool and now I know I can bring my kid along, at least until 2100 hrs.

This is my favorote bar in Kenmore and maybe not in Kenmore... I've come here for years. I'm giving them five stars, even tonight.. because the well gin and tonics are the most delicious ever and I don't know why. And the food is amazing... Fried pickles and shrooms are my favorites but I've never had anything bad, ever. Most of the bartenders are great. Family friendly until whatever the cutoff time is at night and I appreciate that I can bring my 21+ kid and my under 21 kid here together.

I moved to Kenmore last year and I'm now within walking (stumbling?) distance from the Moose. I'm very happy to report that it's become my new local pub.I've always had excellent service here; everyone I've been served by has been fantastic. Most of the staff remember our drink orders and start to pouring as soon as they see my fiancé and I walking through the door. If it gets super busy and they're short staffed then yes you might have to go to the bar to order, but this is to be expected.Food is standard pub fare, and it's very well executed. Their wings are on the large size and always delicious. They have an excellent selection of burgers and sandwiches, and as a Canadian I have to say they've got one of the best poutines I've had in the US.I've gone to the Moose to watch a number of Kraken away games this season and there were always a few other folks there that were also cheering for the boys. There are a number of TVs throughout so you can see the game from anywhere; it lives up to its name as a sports bar.All in all I highly recommend hitting up the Moose. 5 stars well earned.

Best margarita I ever try ! Team is amazing and so friendly I LOVE this place !!! Can't wait to go again !!!!!

honestly the service is fine but the food and ambience leaves a lot to be desired. the people at the bar did seem great - maybe it was just a bad night

I was jonesing for some cheese curds but I had my daughter with me. I was in luck because this place is very kid friendly (minors allowed before 9pm), and they have the best fried cheese curds on the eastside hands down! The dipping sauce they came with was a little weird (ketchup with fresh bacon bits) but it worked. They were good naked and I'm sure you could ask for a different sauce if you wanted. One of the best Dive Bars! Food is definitely bar food but one of the best I've ever had. Will plan to come back for the food and sports (lots of TVs!)Pet friendly: noFamily friendly: yes Parking: private lot but not very largeFOOD: - Frickles (Fresh Skagit Valley Madrona Market pickle chips deep fried in the Moose's own secret recipe batter, served with homemade Frickle sauce) $11: 4 Star - There is only one other place that has amazing Frickles (Gaslamp Bar at Issaquah) but this is a lot closer to me! Very dilly-pickley (yes, real words) so if you're a fan of pickles you have to give these a try. The batter is just the right amount, not too thin, not too thick and freshly made so its piping hot. - Fried Shrooms (Fresh mushroom dipped in our own homemade batter, served with choice of dipping sauce) $11: 4 Stars - Full size button mushroom that are battered and fried fresh. Super hot so be careful when eating these! Just like the frickles, they make the batter just right and fried to perfection! - Turkey Club (Moose-carved turkey breast, Daily's bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese on toasted sourdough) $14: 5 Stars - I love a good turkey club. Its seems silly considering most of the component isn't made or cooked, its more like assembled. But theirs is super good, and toasted just right... probably a little messy but who doesn't love a good sauce! - The Afterburner (This burger is a full-scale spicy taste bud assault! 1/2 lbs Angus patty, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, our own chipotle ranch sauce, and LTOP) $15: 4 Stars - Tasty but not very spicy. Most burgers aren't very spicy no matter what they advertise. Their Chipotle ranch sauce is great and should be the sauce for everything. MENU: Good size menu for a dive bar, something for everyone. Mix of Healthy and FRIED!! RESTAURANT: The Restaurant is definitely bigger from the outside LOL I was surprise how big it was considering I don't think they have enough parking for how big the place is. - Their bar area is 21+ but everywhere else is family friendly. - They have some bar games - pool, large jenga, darts, etc.- Tiny "outdoor" seating but for anyone who wants to be outside, there is tables for that. - Very good number of tables and tons of TV so great place if you want to watch the game. SERVICE:- Chris was a great bartender! He was the only one working the front of the house but very attentive and stopped by multiple times to check on us and refill our drink orders. - The kitchen turns food orders pretty quick. There was only a few tables occupied but it was still pretty quick.

Joe puts ice in the urinal! And is also is a rad bartender, but targets in the men's room are great!!! Also the food is incredible.

Rude bartender right from the start. Seemed annoyed and all I wanted was a fucking beer and a menu. Don't know why he was such a arrogant prick? I'll never go there again.
