Woo hoo, we needed this place. A bit rough and ready, but the food sounds great. More detailed review to follow.

My favorite late night spot in Logan Square. Everything is delicious and the people that work there were super nice!

I'll preface this by saying my review is more about their shady business practices rather than their actual food. Side note: the food is decent. Went in on a Saturday night. Got a Gyro, fries, and a soda. Bill came out to 30 bucks. Cashier crumples up my receipt while I'm trying to do the math in my head. I must have had a confused look on my face because homie at the counter just pointed to a small sign behind me. Apparently, there's an automatic 20% gratuity added after midnight. He didn't mention it once, so I essentially left a 40% tip and he says yeah that happens all the time. Probably won't go back here, there's better late night eats in the city.

Just walked by and saw the sidewalk sign and realized I needed a chicago dog, and whoa this place came through. Perfect dog with a pretzel roll, I was a bit suspect at first, but it's just as good as a poppy seed. Char dog was perfectly burnt, everything else was A+. They threw in some fries as it was my first time, and they were excellent. Cool dudes behind the counter, nice air conditioning, and some wild adult themed aesthetic. "I'll be back."

Better than Taco Bell or McDonald's. The Funchwrap is more hearty than tbell. The McGridles(1) was fresh and came with more syrup but I wish the sausage was spicier. Can't wait to try their whole menu.

Wide variation of inexpensive menu options. Delivery is exceptional as well. Certainly worth a try

I just picked this up literally 20 minutes ago and I couldn't wait to review it. The fried chicken sandwich is insanely good and the ketchup dusted fries are to die for. I will be going here weekly.

Let me be clear, this is not your average late night Chicago spot. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich, which was deliciously crispy with some type of slaw on it, it absolutely blew our minds! The fries come with a ketchup seasoning which was interesting but added a good flavor. We paired the fries with the science cheese which was AMAZINGLY good. I also got a gyro which was yummy as well. The front cashier was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and talked us through everything. I'm honestly scared to that once people find out about how good the food is at Sausage King the line will be out the door and around the corner, but it's definitely deserved!
