Sauced Pizzeria

I don't usually do reviews, but I HAD to do it this time. Hands down some of the yummiest pizza in San Diego. My sister, niece and I were walking around PB and my niece wanted pizza so we randomly stopped by. Christina, the owner, was so bright and friendly she served us and recommended a few things for us to try. She takes pride in what she is serving and you can see the heart she has for what she is serving when she speaks! Bread sticks were yummy, the marinara had so much flavor and the pizza was perfect. The place has an old school vibe, but don't let the outside fool you. This place is SO GOOD! I brought a whole meat lovers pizza home for my husband and he loved it, he's pretty picky when it comes to pizza too. We had some the next day and it was still so dang good! Highly recommend this place, so glad we stumbled upon it.

Wonderful dinner We visited Sauced Pizzeria on a Sunday at 6:30 pm, just an hour and a half before their closing time at 8:00 pm. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm, old-school ambiance and the impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant. The friendly hostess greeted us with a smile, quickly seated us, and handed us the menu.Soon after, Christina, the owner, came over to assist us. She was incredibly welcoming and friendly, taking the time to suggest the best items on the menu based on our preferences. Her recommendations did not disappoint. We ordered the Garlic Cheesy Breadsticks, Meatballs, and a sun-dried tomato, pesto, and chicken pizza. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The marinara sauce, in particular, stood out as something special. The food exceeded all our expectations, and the impeccable service from Christina and her team made our experience even better. We will definitely be returning many times and highly recommend Sauced Pizzeria to our neighbors and friends.

I came here with my wife and two boys while on vacation. I thought it was a great spot with tasty food, pizza, and reasonable prices.The owner was super nice and friendly! I'm glad we stumbled upon this place and would come again.

Jalepeño cheese bread was a big hit as was the pepperoni and olive pizza! Two in our party loved the chicken fettuccine, but one thought the noodles were too sticky while still enjoying the taste.

Alright here we go ... we LOVE pizza. First timers at Sauced Pizzeria. Greeted immediately with a friendly smile and picked our seats. Older homey feel inside, nothing new or modern BUT loved how clean it was and the authentic look of the place. We started with the famous breadsticks and marinara sauce, SO GOOD. Hot warm perfect amount of parm, made fresh, highly recommend. Then we had the meatballs. Tasty, sauce was good, cheese on top melted and good. Meatballs were ok, I was hoping for a little more flavor or garlic. Then pizza time ... SO GOOD. The pizza was thin but a great crust. We got two pizzas one was half four cheese and pep with the other half four cheese pep and jalapeño. Then we got the chicken pesto with sun dried tomato VERY GOOD! Service was over the top AWESOME. The owner Christina greeted us and checked in often but not overbearing. Super sweet and friendly. Told us about the place and how she started. Staff all seemed happy to be there. Prices seemed fair not cheap but not pricey. And then last but not least because you know this will make or break a place for me, the bathroom was so clean. Also noticed they have an "A" rating so that was super cool. I mean this is the spot yall gotta check it out! See the pics!

We brought our whole street village of 9 here and everyone loved it! The owner is wonderful, she was so sweet with the kiddos! The food is delicious with large portions big enough to share!

I picked up pizza from Sauced because I got a gift card for them and I'm glad we got it! We had just got done with a long hike so a big old pizza is exactly what we needed. We also got some lasagna and a Caesar salad but I ravenously broke into those before I remembered to grab a picture. The staff were super nice and welcoming when I came in to pick up my food and the inside looked really cool. I was kind of bummed that we didn't go to eat in there but we'll be back. I'd recommend Sauced to anyone looking for a good pizza in SD!

Went here after we flew in and my daughter was starving for pizza. The meatballs were amazing!! I ate 2 1/2 alone. Cheesy bread was good and so was the pizza. The service was amazing! Love a good hometown mom and pop shop with good food and this place is it! Order everything, will not disappoint.

This restaurant was amazing! One of the workers named Tony was super kind, nice, and charismatic. The owner of the restaurant was very engaging and hospitable towards the customers. The cheesy garlic breadsticks were incredible, and the pasta and pizzas were amazing. Over all a very hospitable and family friendly restaurant to go to.

We visited from the L.A. feeling nostalgic for Marino's. Low and behold, new owner. Christina greeted us so kindly; she reviewed the menu in detail and took great care of us. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, garlic noodles, BBQ chicken pizza and the sausage peppers sub. Everything was fantastic. Well worth the trip. We left with some cookies and some merch. If you are in the area, stop by, you won't be disappointed.
