Service was amazing and Staff was ver accommodating. I am not a Vegan but their veggie dishes blew me away. Would come back again if I'm in area. Also very fairly priced for Newberry St.

Sarva is a fresh addition to the already charming and lively neighborhood of Newbury Street! It's a breath of fresh air for those craving good, earthy Indian food. Sarva's specialty is definitely its wide array of selection of delicacies from salads to soups to tandoor to curries. They have Chaats and Indo-Chinese too. But the cherry on top is definitely a few of its handpicked dishes from the Southern part of India, Kerala thus churning out some amazing mélange of spices and blends with their Cochin Goat Curry and Chicken curry and the signature Kerala fish curry and prawns curry. This is not just a first in Newbury Street but all of Massachusetts! Sarva has a café too that has a good selection of popular Indian quick bites like cutlets, samosas, omelettes, coffee and smoothies. The garlic Naan we ordered was heavenly! Be sure to not miss out on their mouthwatering Lamb Chops, veg cutlets and coconut tomato soup, while you're there. In beverages, you must try the Sulaimani tea and Madras filter coffee. The only downfall was that their Tandoor Rotis are huge and cut into 4 pieces, so please keep that in mind when you order! We were seated outside on a gentle breezy day, but the fireplace kept us really warm and the fuzzy yellow lights and slow music lent the perfect ambience! Sarva is a rare gem and I highly recommend it!

After a long day of walking The Freedom Trail, we were looking for a delicious, savory meal. My husband went searching for some Indian food! We found Sarva. It was a quick subway ride away to the Back Bay Area. We were able to get a seat pretty easily. The staff are all so nice and quick to meet your needs. They have a great selection of naan and I don't think you could make a bad decision with any option. We tried the garlic naan and it was delicious. I had the korma with paneer and my husband had the veg biryani. The food was AMAZING! We both equally loved our dishes. You can specify the spice level - if you are not as comfortable with spicy foods. We also tried the veg samosa as an appetizer, which was also delicious. After a long day of walking, Sarva was the best choice to end the night. An amazing find for us!

Simply fantastic. Wifey and I were walking Newbury st reminiscing of the old times while celebrating our anniversary and stumbled upon their opening night. What a find! First time finding an Indian cuisine that also serves South Indian food with South Indian chefs. I mean, they have fish cutlets. How can you go wrong if you have fish cutlets. Chicken biryani was off the roof. Dum style. Pakora was the bomb. Finished off our dinner with a masala chai and sulemani tea. Chef heard about our anniversary and comp'd us with the most delicious chocolate cake. Service was awesome too. This place was awesome

Excellent chicken biryani with flavorful yoghurt sauce and vegetable samosas. The huge biryani came out steaming hot, and there will definitely be some leftovers. Maybe enough for two people if not absolutely starving.

Sarva is a great edition to Newberry Street. The service and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor ambiance around the fire element was very nice to sit and people watch! We got the garlic naan, basmati rice, and buttered chicken. The garlic naan was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The rice was cooked perfect as well and the buttered chicken was delicious. Good price point, amazing food and setting!

Wow what a great find! So glad we stopped into this new Indian restaurant in the heart of the Back Bay. The service was such a nice experience. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food came quickly , hot and exactly as ordered. We ordered the best Cochin Chicken Curry and Kadai Chicken Curry, both with medium heat. Plenty of food to share and we even brought home leftovers. The Naan was also "YUM". We will make sure to go back before we head back to California.
