My family used to travel from La Mesa to get food here. This is still our favorite Mexican food restaurant.

Update: went here again and ordered a cheese enchilada plate. We went off of the price offered online as they've been regularly consistent and once we got there, was charged extra for the same plate. When asked about the discrepancy in price, the cashier shrugged her shoulders and still charged us. Haven't been back since then and that was a few months ago. Food isn't worth it.

Ive never had an issues at this store. Food has always been great. Cashier is a little bland but I've never received bad service. I've only ordered food here to go but there are a few tables to sit and eat at if you'd like.

Amazing Carne Asada burritos. They are amazing and nice yes I recommend then and I always go back

Got a bean and cheese burrito and the beans weren't hot enough to melt the cheese. Food was still really good!

I was very hungry & had eaten here before. In the past the food was good & fresh but not at this time. The last two times I've gone there the female at the cash register didn't acknowledge me nor come to take my order. There were no other customers giving orders & there were two people waiting for their small orders.I ordered a Milanesa torta which was so bad. It tasted like the meat was old & recooked with oil that smelled. It wasn't inexpensive either.Because I was so hungry I ate half of it & couldn't eat more because I'd throw up. I drank some Squirt I had to settle my stomache & wash the bad taste out of my mouth. It took a good half hour for me to start to feel better.

We have tried this place over and over again and we are never satisfied. California burritos are always almost cold. The French fries are old, the cheese is never melted and the meat tastes like it has been sitting there all day. Today we tried getting breakfast burritos.. the bacon was so hard and crispy, I thought I almost broke a tooth. The cheese was also not melted. The only reason why we give them a star is because we do love their green salsa otherwise it would be 0.

Just moved into the area... i wanted to support local... order 5 rolled tacos extra crispy... green sauce is on point.. after my 2nd taco i noticed a hair in my food... threw the rest of my dinner away..... ill stick with los ranchertios on lake Jennings...

Sunday august the 18th this restaurant had two customers with a filthy dog at a table. I compliant to the counter girl and she turned and siad in spanish to the cook that I was crazy in the head. Having a dirty filty dog in a restaraunt that wsnt a service animal breaks health codes. is disguisting and to have the counter girl call me loco behind my back to the cook. Is an amazimg type of any basic manners or cleaninless. The restruant smeeled like dog poop. And the bathorroms were overwhelmingly smelling of urine Last I visit these unsanitary people. I am also following up with the restaruant health codes in this areas

Ordered the 12 rolled tacos special and a California burrito, nothing crazy and something that would average around $22-25 understandably. Somehow I was charged for $250.16 worth of food. This charge was not on my receipt, but applied to my debit card the next day. The food is good, but not THAT good... if you're not paying cash I'd advise you check your bank statement for the correct charge.
