Anytime I'm in Stockbridge and realize I can pop into Sarah 's. It is always a treat! If you're looking for a meet and three he won't get a better plate anywhere but your grandmothers! My fat girl loves the fried pork chops I don't think there's a vegetable I don't like it when they have the baby limas! If you Like fried chicken livers this is your place.... Made fresh order every time! Praying they never close so I can always take advantage when I'm in the area and during their limited hours.

Ambiance is a good lil place . It's always a line , not too much spacing to sit inside & the parking lot is very little spaces. Service was great , It's like lunch style where you go through the line telling them what you want . Food was great , fresh , seasoned . The catfish was very fresh , yams were just the right amount of sweetness and softness, & collard greens was good but might have to add hot sauce for some spice . I will definitely try this place again.

I was so hopeful! The ladies on the live plating orders had supreme customer service, and even the gentleman ringing up the orders did too. However, the fried chicken was subpar at best based on flavor....Popeyes', Publix's, heck even Kroger's fried chicken is better. Now the veggies, they were on point....because of the sides & service, I'll give them another shot.....but I definitely won't be ordering the flavorless fried chicken!

I was so excited to stop by and get lunch to go. It has been a few years of going since I have been there. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the fried chicken. It was dry and unseasoned but my sides the Mac and cheese & cabbage was good. I will definitely go again just won't order the fried chicken.

In the past five - ten years, I've slowly become addicted to pies, just fruit pies. I always try to find a good place if I'm in other parts of Atlanta because the south side lacks a variety of businesses. I found out today that this south side restaurant has the best Peach Cobbler I've ever had. Yes it's a cafeteria style restaurant, yes rotating menu so no peach cobbler everyday but they have cake and apple pie as well. I can't wait to try their other desserts. Fried chicken is daily and my friend said it was good. I thought the cornbread was dry at first, but couldn't stop eating it, so I thinks it's pretty good.Clean place, super nice staff. Open 11-4 weekdays. Be careful of the cobbler, it's so good you won't eat other ones because they will fall short.

Overall I enjoyed my catfish but my mom didn't like the pork chops. She said they needed to be cooked more but she enjoyed collards but not the Mac n cheese.

Came in today because my mom loves this place...now we both do! the fried chicken was perfectly crisp on the outside and still nice and tender on the inside. crunchy okra, wonderful mac and cheese. peach cobbler was delicious. a wonderful little hidden gem!

Sara's food is so good! It's the best county cooking around! Wish they were open for dinner.

I've been a customer since they opened. I've never had anything that wasn't absolutely wonderful. I've had the fried chicken livers, salmon patties, country fried steak and most of the vegetables. If you are looking for a meat and two or three...Sarah's is the place to go in Henry county.
