Sapporo Teriyaki was my go-to teriyaki restaurant during my three month stay in Seattle. It was conveniently next to my gym and hotel so it was routine for me to order chicken teriyaki to-go after my workout for dinner. The interior is small and a little dirty, but that's part of the charm of Seattle's ubiquitous teriyaki restaurants that dot the suburbs. Sapporo is run by a quiet, old Korean man who comes off a little shy at first but gets to be pretty friendly one you get to know him. The prices are comparable to other teriyaki restaurants and the portions are slightly larger. My go-to order is the chicken teriyaki with steamed vegetables. I've gotten the katsu and the spicy teriyaki chicken but frankly don't think either of them are worth it. The spicy teriyaki chicken is a dollar extra when you can just get the spicy condiment and add it to the teriyaki yourself. There is a meal deal to get potstickers with your chicken but I personally just stick to the basic teriyaki. The chicken is always juicy and tasty with a nice bit of char for added flavor. They include the teriyaki sauce on the side which is great if you're trying to watch your calories. You get the option of a salad or steamed vegetables which I always get the latter. Nothing too special, the veggies were fine. Rice was fine, nice bite and not too mushy when you eat it. You can help yourself to the chili sauce which is nice, and they have free wifi if you dine in. Takeout orders over the phone are quick and painless and the food is usually ready in under 10 minutes. Sapporo is by far my favorite teriyaki restaurant in the area and I will keep coming back.

Been eating teriyaki and spicy chicken here for years. Quality does vary, but it's always good. Sometimes great, but always good. And they've always been friendly and reasonably priced. The interior could use a refresh. Doesn't look like much has been invested back into the business over the years. Can also get crowded at lunch because it's a favorite of Microsoft employees. But, overall, a solid teriyaki joint.

It's a decent teriyaki place, it's the place to go for some of my friends, they especially like the spicy teriyaki. I like it too, but when I got it a few times I was still a little hungry after.I tried the katsu this time and I liked it, it tasted good and the portion was large enough.I just wish they gave more steamed veggies though.

Chicken was moist and tender, fried rice was also moist - I was there well after the lunch rush and the food tasted like it was made to order, not pre-propped.Cashier was friendly and helpful. I will be back !

Tried Sapporo again. What I found is the spicy teriyaki is excellent. Great flavor and nice texture. The regular teriyaki is OK. Not the greatest but adequate. My first time I had the ramen and thought it was a little bland. But I think certain dishes are good at this spot. The best thing is they are charging reasonable prices.

Got Grubhub delivery which took a quite a bit longer than expected, however once the food was received it was great. The teriyaki shrimp with salad and sesame dressing was the classic combo I was lookIng for. Good rice, and sauce was well balanced- good takeout!

Good fast Teriyaki and still mostly reasonably priced. Fast friendly service and they're not sticking an ipad in your face for a 20% gratuity on a to-go order like some do. I took my team here the other day and received good feedback from them too. Defiantly a good goto!

I was really surprised by this stop. I came here to meet a friend for lunch and although it's definitely a little sketchy on the outside, the gyoza and the chicken are fresh and the portions are great for the size. Would recommend!

Decent teriyaki in Eastside! The chicken is tender, but not super flavorful. The teriyaki sauce was good but I probably needed at least twice amount I was given. Pretty affordable though and comes with a side choice of either salad (lettuce with dressing) or steamed vegetables.
