Excellent service, atmosphere, and most importantly excellent food. Perfect Naan (not over done). Chicken coconut curry and chicken saag. The lamb samosa appetizer was also fantastic with the mint and tamarind saucesMore of an casual-elegant atmosphere.We're lucky to have such an excellent Indian restaurant in Rancho Bernardo.

5 Stars for their fried onion appetizer.For some reason Chili's thinks people don't want the "Awesome Blossum" anymore... so we don't go there anymore. But here? They realize deep fried battered onions with dipping sauces are EXACTLY what people want.-2 Stars because there is NO LUNCH BUFFET. This is the only Indian place I've been to without at least the OPTION to have a lunch buffet. They actually even have the buffet tables visible as you walk in... they just don't use them for some reason.Sadly won't be returning, because when I go out for Indian Food, I want the VARIETY of getting portions of lots of different dishes... but with no Lunch Buffet, YOU'RE STUCK JUST ORDERING ONE SINGLE DISH instead of being able to get lots of different ones, like every other Indian restaurant around here which is why I will be going to others instead of returning here......which is too bad because their food is REALLY GREAT QUALITY AND FLAVOR.

Just ate at Sapphires on Father's Day. It's a new restaurant in Rancho Bernardo.It's delicious. Good price. I had chicken tikka masala, my husband had chicken tandoori. The garlic Nan was the best I have eaten. Enjoyed the samosa.. we will be going back.

Food is amazing and very fresh. Staff is excellent. Came for dinner, but the event space is large! Grateful for such a great Indian chef in the area. We had Salmon Coconut Curry, Chicken tiki and Goat curry with garlic naan. Apps were the chick-pea salad and chili chicken. Everything was perfect. They also have beer and wine with a wide array for traditional Indian beverages. Can't wait to go back. Thank you! Menu is phenomenal

Place was empty at early dinner around 5pm. So we didn't have to wait! Brightly decorated dining room with Indian decor and furniture felt welcoming. Service was very good and food delicious. Pani puri appetizer was my favorite with sweet and tangy chutney. Garlic Naan can use a bit more garlic but baked well, deliciously chewy not too doughy nor hard. Yum!Prawn Vindaloo was tangy and spicy just the way I like it. Tandoori chicken was served sizzling hot on a stone griddle and marinated and baked just right. Fine Indian Dining with lesser known appetizers and authentic entrees at reasonable prices. Will return and plan to recommend to others.

We came for lunch and ordered their lunch special. Food is delicious and fresh. Service is ok, we were seated immediately but the silver wares and napkin came in after the food was served. Ambiance was nice, table cloths and good natural light from big windows.

I came into town for work and found this place on yelp. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and very large portions for a great price! I wish I lived here so I could be a regular. I would highly recommend! More people need to know about this place

We ordered food to go and half of our food was missing. We called the restaurant and they hang up the phone on us. Very bad customer service.

Great food service and decor. Delicious desserts too. We having been looking for a nice restaurant to eat out at and wahla we found Saphirre! Great flavors.

My husband and I ate here for the first time. The restaurant is lovely and it's very nice to have linen tablecloths and napkins. The food was very good and the service was the best that I've had in a long time. We will definitely be back.
