Gelato was delicious -- we had salted caramel, forest berry & lemon curd cookie. Scoop sizes were incredibly inconsistent hence the 3 star rating. My husband ordered a single scoop in a cup ($4.50) while I ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone ($6.50 + $1.50 for cone) and his portion seemed the same. There was no kid size but our child's portion was noticeably smaller but still $4.50.

Just had a great little experience here. Came to the park for a walk and spotted this place. Super cute inside, very welcoming. The girl who helped us was very kind. We got a scoop of pink guava and lemon. Both fantastic. Will definitely be back.

After an amazing dinner at Evergreen Pizza Co upstairs, we stopped in for a sweet treat. We initially thought it was closed because its dark inside and there was nobody behind the counter, but once my husband opened the door a girl came out and greeted us. The shop itself is really cute! We sampled a couple of flavors (all amazing!) before i settled for a scoop of their chocolate hazelnut on a sugar cone. This gelato is so good I will literally be thinking about it until I go back again for more! Husband had a massive waffle cone with this flavor and the toasted coconut macaron and goodness that flavor was so good too. We will definitely be returning!

This place was disappointing. We had 2 vans full of kids. Their hours said they closed at 9 and We arrived at 8:40. They said that since they were slow they closed early. We asked nicely if there was anyway they could please just serve up a few scoops for the kids, since we drove quite a distance. The ladies response was "we don't have any scoopers right now." Really?!!! As we were walking out we also talked to other customers that had just Bought gelato and they said they "were rudely asked to leave as soon as they bought the gelato. So disappointing!! Think twice before you go give this place your business. Won't be going here ever and will be spreading the word to friends and family.

This is a great gelato shop right up against Evergreen Park. The gelato is good but a bit pricey. This is more of a treat than a regular thing. I do wish the service were a bit faster but other than that I have no complaints. The Strawberry and Mojito flavors are both great and dairy free!

Not bad. 3.5 starts. I've had gelato made by Italians that are graduates of the Gelato University in Italy. This gelato is not as good, but it is passable. The flavors are good, the consistency and texture is just a bit too airy, but not much. I think it is worthy to eat.5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The shop itself is under a pizza place and close to the park, depending on how busy the park is, finding street parking is difficult. Generally, they have odd flavors and small portions for the price. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't super exciting. I wish they just had simple chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, they only carry crazy flavors. Not my must go place

This was my first experience trying Gelato, and I went with a friend of mine who has had gelato before. The selection was a bit odd as they didn't have normal flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), but nonetheless, we tried it, and it seemed a bit dry. It left me feeling like I had cotton mouth after eating it. I had gotten the mint chocolate chip which was full of flavor, only the gelato was a bit on the dry side. They have a patio you can sit at once you get your gelato as there's not much room inside to sit down. Seeing that it is right below a pizza place and next to Evergreen Park, we definitely anticipated it being much busier than they were. Although the location is nice, I don't see myself going back unless I am in the area.

After watching the Italy episode of "Somebody Feed Phil" and his reaction to enjoying gelato I was curious about this thing. Could it be as wonderful is Phil said? Was it just an act? Was my 8 year old grandson just playing grandma to get an ice cream after eyeing Sapling Gelato after playing in the nearby park? No! No! A thousand times no! I don't know about highly trained Gelato Uni grads who have obtained Jedi-like quality skills (re: a prior reviewer's comment) but I know what I like. And I love gelato thanks to Sapling. The next day we had to meet my daughter @ the Bremerton airport to drop off our grandson for his return home. On the way back to Kingston the wife asked if we needed to stop in Bremerton for anything? The answer: gelato of course!

Was on my way to get groceries, wanted some ice cream so I pulled over. At 1 pm on a Wednesday, approaching the business, I couldn't tell if it was open. Partially lit, no closed sign anywhere. Door unlocked. After entering and saying "Hello?," a lady with a clipboard came out and said they were closed, I apologized twice and turned to leave, informing her that the door was unlocked. She said the lights are off (only the spherical lights on the ceiling, and also the store is lit by natural lighting.) and the hours are on the door. I said she doesn't have to be rude, and she said that I don't have to be rude either when I had not been rude whatsoever. I won't be coming here again due to her rude behavior. This location is right by a park, the manager or whoever that was might want to lock their door if the store is closed, and also use a 'Closed' sign.
