Amazing food very authentic Mexican flavor great presentation and delicious. sandía margarita was very refreshing Will highly recommend this place great experience great atmosphere and ambience.

Comida excelente, bien presentada, deliciosa. Toda la comida servida muy elegante, perfecto para un date. Muy limpio, lo recomiendo.

Excellent food and great place .I really like the indoor dining and to make it real special , they had my favorite singer performing at all TV.Thanks to server who really took care of all our needs . Will be back soon.

While in Imperial Beach for another event recently, I made a stop at Santo Placer for a meal before heading back north. I don't know what the previous establishment was, but the standalone building had a large on-site parking lot which is always beneficial. The inside decor was beautiful, highlighted by a faux tree with white flowers in the middle of the dining room. The ambiance was pretty fancy for Mexican cuisine.Brunch was being served during my weekend visit so only half of the menu was available. A Culichi Omelet was what I chose for an entree. The filling was shrimp and mozzarella cheese topped with culichi sauce made up of roasted poblano peppers, jalapeno, and garlic. A green salad and a scoop of Mexican rice came as sides to the dish. The shrimp were concentrated on one side of the omelet with four pieces total. The creamy sauce was the star of the show. Tortillas were also provided but for unknown reasons, the corn variety was complimentary while there was a surcharge if I wanted flour-based wraps.The biggest issue I encountered was the preparation time. The kitchen took at least 20 minutes before the item was brought to my table even though the place was less than half full. The prices were on the high side, however that reflected the more upscale nature of the restaurant. My waitress was very polite and helpful in answering the questions I had about the menu offerings. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my dining experience at Santo Placer.

Beautiful interior, very filling food, live DJ, looking forward to brunch! Staff members are courteous and professional! Definitely going back!

The overall look and decor of this place is really nice, decorated beautifully with several tv screens playing music around the establishment. Came here on a weekend and it was a little busy. Our service was a little slow but it might have been on account of how busy it was. Ordered the chicharron and guacamole, along with the pancakes, eggs Benedict, and chipotle shrimp. The guacamole was delicious! Tried the pancakes and those were really good. My brother ordered the eggs Benedict and said they were some of the best he's ever eaten. My chipotle shrimp dish was ok. Overall I liked everything about this place and the only negative was that the service was a little slow. They've really made this a nice dining restaurant in the Southbay area compared to the Pizza Hut that used to be here.

I don't like writing bad reviews because experiences can vary, but I will say I enjoyed my self here and my reviews are purely based on my own experience. I'll keep it short & sweet.Pros: Great service, good drinks, music? Cons: Ridiculous prices, loud music, terrible sewage odor in the restroom area.

No Fajitas??? Only Mexican restaurant in town that does not serve Fajitas. Will give this place a try when they add Fajita to the menu.From the initial looks, the place is very nice inside, a little on the dark side and they seem to have plenty of workers. Nice soft elevator music playing which was a very nice touch to the ambiance.Had the Veggie Omelette this morning with avocado and bacon on the side, it was excellent. Also had the pork rinds with quac. It was also good.My server was Valeria and she was excellent.Will definitely return to this establishment.

The ambience was very cool and mellow.The TV had a Luis Miguel Concert on and was really nice. The whole restaurant vibe was chill. I really like this place. It has a nice big bar with all the beers and liquor you can think of. Amazing!!!! And the food was delicious. The plate size was perfect for a normal person and very tasty. The drinks were on point and the price was perfect. Around $15 a plate. The waitress was nice and friendly. . We will be coming back again. 5 stars on my books.

Took a chance at 7:55. Sherlyn confirmed with her manager that they would allow us to eat even though they closed in five minutesFood was extremely good. The service was amazing. There's about 20 people in when we got here. I had the chili Riano, which was absolutely amazing, never had it with mango sauce very interesting twist It was nice to see a well oiled crew. I wish there were something bad. I really liked the Mexican with the twist
