Santana's Mexican Food

I made an order over the phone and we got red sauce chilaquiles, vegan cali burrito, cali burrito with adobada and machaka breakfast burrito. The order was ready in 10 mins so that was great. Everything was good but I would say the burritos are in the smaller size compared to other places. It hit the spot!

Surprisingly large parking lot. A little tricky getting to it off of the freeway because you can't turn onto Moreno, you have to go down a side street.Inside smelled pretty bad. Service: took a minute to get someone to come from the back to help us place the order. It was ready fairly quickly, they weren't busy.Ordered California burrito. A little shocked at the $11 price tag. Fries were under cooked. Burrito had pico. Meat and tortilla was okay. Salsa, watered down, but still ok/spicy/flavorful. Cheese wasn't melty at all.Definitely not the Santanas I remember.

Stopped in here to take a burrito to go after golfing. Service was pretty quick and the burritos were pretty good. Wasn't too expensive and I'm super full with a little bit left over. A pretty good option for a nice messy burrito.

food is usually pretty good, but I have come a couple of time the last two weeks and the young lady working behind the register is extremely rude. I asked for napkins and she walked off without acknowledging, so I politely asked again and she barked "I heard you." to be fair she did give me some napkins. The first time I came I asked if there was hominy in the medudo and she literally started shaking with frustration. I said she seemed to be getting really frustrated and I wasn't clear as to why, to which she responded, "I only know the Mexican works for what's in the medudo." She spoke what seemed to be fluent English to me, so I was confused. I let it go. Today when my order was ready, I was served with my back to the register and I happened to turn and she says to me, "that's your order " after it had been sitting there fir awhile. I am pushing 50 and I guess I am just used to people saying " sir " how can I help you?" etc. I really hope she is not going through some kind of personal trauma, but this is the second time in a row. If she is going through some stuff, please everyone pray for her!

Good food but bad customer service. Didn't want to give us red sauce. Terrible attitudes

I lived in Sandiego for five years and I've missed this place more than any other. There's nothing that compares to it on the east coast

This place use to give good portions. Now the burritos are half the size. Definitely won't be coming back anymore

Absolute insult to food anywhere. I've been ordering from this place since 2013, before it completely went to... well.... It's the closest to my house, so I've been putting up with the tiny portions and subpar quality for that reason. Today I decided to mix things up and add diced onion to my burrito. Well I sure got me some onion! 50% of the burrito worth of Anika raw onion. I tried to complain, but they did not care at all. Bye bye 10 years of business.

The food is great one of my favorite favorites, I ve been going to this for over 20 years, usually customer service is great except yesterday July 1st around 8pm, the rudest girl ever by the window, rolling her eyes, not nice at all, asked her if she could keep the drink tray , she told me that I could put in the trash myself in my house, it was not trash.... So rude so rude, employees like that are the ones who sometimes finish long time customers wish to go to their location, such a shame to this lady, maybe you could look for another job is customer service is not you fortee.Even my kids inside the car, was.... Wow, she is very rude...

Took some out of town family members to enjoy the food. The food was delicious, but this lady was rude from the very beginning. I think she had a problem with our party of 15. Such a bad attitude with her tone and the way she rolled her eyes. She needs training.
