Yama Sushi on the Lake

Location had good parkingLots if room for bigger parties I sat outside patio had a nice view if the lake and ducks swimming. Tables were clean and chairs as well. Menu had many items.I ordered the edo lunch bentoSalmon katsu was juicy not dry and crispy. Good flavor. Salmon sashimi was buttery and tasty The tuna had no flavor and a little chewy than prefered. Miso was okay but the salad and dressing was very tasty. They had fresh jalepenos But overall good food and will come again. Prices good.

Delicious food, great atmosphere The staff was very nice and helpful.We will definitely come back, probably for lunch to enjoy the view better.

If you want to feel like family, Yama Sushi is the place to dine. We come hear often because the customer service is amazing. Don, the owner, works so hard and always comes over to say hello and ask us about our holidays and our family. Nee is our favorite server. She always know what our regular orders are and she remembers everyone's name. Carlos always greets us with a smile and a pound. He is there whenever we need anything. Kenny is also a wonderful server. We enjoy seeing him every week! We also love Yung. She always makes us feel so special.The sushi is also phenomenal. Fresh fish and great combinations. Good vegetarian options also. There is also a really good chicken curry bowl if you want a non-sushi option.The vibe is great. You can be inside or outside. Outside is beautiful with a view of the lake, moon, and stars. Inside you get the full experience of seeing sushi made by the wonderful chefs. Yama is hands down one my most favorite dining experiences!

Went in for lunch today and had the best service from Yumi! Fast service and amazing personality! She had great recommendations- We will definitely be back to see Yumi soon!

Came in on a Wednesday, and the food and service were amazing!My wife had the Toro Jalapeño roll, my son enjoyed the tuna cut roll and some steamed chicken potstickers, and my daughter loved the avocado roll.We did order the Double Salmon Avocado roll, and my kiddo didn't care for the salmon. (I think she would've enjoyed tuna better.) The staff were great about helping us out to find something else my daughter would like.Finally, I had the beef udon, which was wonderful and filling.I'm very happy we tried this place out finally!

We ordered Rainbow Roll, Kanpachi (Amberjack) sushi, Yellowtail Carpaccio, Amaebi (Sweet Shrimp) and not pictured were two salmon skin hand rolls which were absolutely delicious. Hey, we were hungry & everything we ordered was yummy.

Great location on the lake ! It's beautiful right before sunset when the weather is nice. The parking lot is always stressful since the spots are consistently always taken. They could probably use more staffing; whenever I go the waitresses are running around and there are lines by the door. The food sometimes takes awhile to get to you too. The food is good but the price point is a bit high for but portion sizes are nice. My last visit was just ok-- they ended up messing up one of our orders and had to make the correct dish. But the staff was apologetic and kind about it. The miso sea bass was great! They gave me a large portion too! The tempura was perfectly crispy with fresh shrimp. The rainbow roll was also very fresh. This place is a good option for a sit down Japanese restaurant as there are not many good ones in the area.

Great Food! The sashimi is so good and so fresh. The garlic edamame is great too. Can't wait for our next visit

We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and the food and service was excellent! Will definitely be back since such great service.

The food was really good. The vibes were very welcoming and relaxing. Service was quick fast and consistant.
