your ultimate one stop shop for street style Xôi Mặn (Salted Sticky Rice) which comes with sliced chả lụa, lập xưởng, chà bông, patê, trứng cút, mở hành, and tép! Sorry I'm not sure how to translate all of those ingredients in English, but it all compliments one another so well! sticky rice is sweet and salty, cooked perfectly. complimentary crab soup (súp cua) great service, we called in to order, quick & efficient. Located in the corner of Bánh Mi Chè Cali, yellow sign! a little hidden, but you can't miss it.

Yum! Can be challenging to find. Located on the far side of the strip mall facing the hospital next door, they are operating out of a lounge that is otherwise closed in the mornings and early lunch. This was convenient and a potable option for breakfast/ lunch. Orders are prepared hot and fresh. Flavors are familiar and the sauce is savory and accent the dish. They also serve both southern and northern style for variety.

The place is tucked in the corner between Banh mi Che cali and CIR lounge, facing orange coast memorial hospital across the street. It's a little podium with their menu on it. There wasn't any line, and it was early as well but they were already out of the Xa xiu? Strange, but ok. I tried the Xoi man pate, the small size is small FYI. I grew out eating xoi man on the streets of Vietnam so I know my xoi, and I'm sad to say this place is not up to par. The first note that hit me was sweet, which threw everything off for me. Their pate was decent. To make things worse they only accept cash or Zelle. They also didn't have change for a $20 so good thing I had the exact change.

The ha cao was so bad and soggy. $10 for 4 soggy ha cao that fell apart quickly. The xoi was just bland. The chao suon has like 1 tiny piece of suon, for $10. What a joke. I gave 2 stars because the free soup cua was decent. Will never come back here. Waste of money

I actually heard about this sticky rice place off a Reddit post of all places, and after checking out their Facebook page under "Xoi Xinh" - I was excited to finally be able to check them out this Sunday morning. Since then, it appears they've changed their business name to "Waving Spoon". Anyway, finding this location is tricky if you use GPS, since it directs you to a different part of the plaza. You're looking for the corner of the plaza between CIR Lounge, and Pho Banh Mi/Che Cali. It's a tiny storefront - almost a pop-up type of food spot that's opened just a few hours each day (8:30am to 2pm). See my photos for an idea of where it is in the plaza.I was greeted promptly as I arrived to the little kiosk upfront. Picking up on how weak my Vietnamese is, the friendly gal answered my questions in English and went from there. The menu is mostly variations of Xoi (Vietnamese sticky rice) with different toppings, one chao dish (Vietnamese rice porridge), and a selection of coffee. I ordered 2x Large - Xoi Man Pate (Savory Pate) and 1x PCP Coffee (I'm aware of the otherwise unfortunate abbreviation, but "PCP" stands for Phacaphe LLC - which is what their business name is, at least if you Zelle them). The Xoi Man Pate was out of this world! Easily the best tasting xoi I've ever tasted. I loved the presentation of the dish - in a reusable, microwave-safe bowl. The entire dish is wrapped with banana leaf - with a base of sticky rice. Next, there is a layer of their pate - which is unlike any other pate you might be familiar with - this definitely had the pate flavor behind it, but it was moist and rich, with a bit of sweetness to it. The xoi was topped off with a variety of different toppings - quail eggs, lap xuong (chinese sausage), cha lua (pork meatloaf), fried scallots, onions, and cha bong (pork meat floss). Every bite was wonderful. All the components made for a visual and delicious experience. The PCP Coffee was equally delicious. Thick, strong coffee with a hint of creamy sweetness to it. It reminds me of the Dalgona coffee from Coffee Whipped in Huntington Beach.Note: This is a takeout food spot only. There aren't any tables you can eat at here, but there are some tables in the same shopping plaza just a few steps away. Cash or Zelle accepted only, no cards. Happy to support a small, local, start-up business! It was easy in and out this morning, but I imagine once word gets out, this place will be packing!!

Little difficult to find as they don't have a store front, but they're right in front of CIR in a small white booth. They have one eggplant veggie option and a bunch of meat options, tho I'm sure they can take out the meat. From my broken Viet, they have pate, some type of dried shrimp pork fat thing, spicy meatball, pickled radish, eggplant, braised? pork intestines, for $8-10ish and some party trays for $50+For payment, they currently accept Zelle or cash.Small ga roti $8Upon opening, you're greeted with a smallish chicken leg. If it was slices or chicken pieces, it would be easier to eat. My mom said the meat was a little too soft. The marinade is ok, I've had better. The sticky rice has a lingering taste of coconut milk so that's yummy. There's some pork floss, but wish there was more of it. Overall, I liked the rice more than everything else lolService The girl manning the front speaks English, but the menu is in Vietnamese. I didn't see an English option available. DrinksThey had corn milk and Vietnamese coffee (egg/coconut/salt), but ran out of corn milk when I came by.For sticky rice dishes, I've had tastier variety at food to go places and at home.

Thanks to other reviews about the location, in this case, I just use CIR LOUNGE location and drive straight there so it's easy for me to find the place. I called ahead of time since I live far away ( an hour away) and it took me 4 calls in order to reach the place. But the owner said they were busy with another phone call. I ordered Xoi Man Pate and sastified enough though to me it's still a little bland ( if they have more shredded pork might help the taste a bit better) their Corn Milk is tasty as well!!

This is a little stand in front of CIR lounge. The menu is small and only in Vietnamese, although the employees speak English and answered all my questions with ease. I got the xoi with intestine and another with chicken. Both were delicious and a good size. The xoi is savory and I like all the toppings. Everything is about ten dollars. The viet iced coffee was strong but the cup was smaller than I anticipated.

I'm sorry, but this is SO GOOD. I just need to tell the world So, so savory -- just in the Xoi Man Pate, we've got the pate, the pork sung, the cha lua, the chinese sausage, the little shrimp bits, the quail egg! She's firing on ALL cylinders! Dare I say, it's indeed, *bussin*.No one's really specialized in xoi even on Bolsa/ Little Saigon, so this shop is a major slay. Always happy to see new Viet places thriving and highlighting different parts of Viet cuisine. Also the girl who took my order was a sweetie pie~ Excited to try the other items on the menu!

Tried salty sticky rice several times and was very satisfied. The shop closes early so there is no sticky rice after work in the afternoon. Today I stopped by to try delicious sticky rice. If you want to eat sticky rice, you have to call in advance and then come pick it up, it will be faster. The service is very good.
