WTF Events

Absolutely terrible place. I went here a few weeks ago with some friends for the first time and as we walk up we see a large line,we go to stand in it only to be greeted by an unnecessarily grumpy bouncer who,all of a sudden,hurries us out of the line telling us we need to buy tickets at the desks first. There was nothing telling us this and nothing to indicate the procedure for new customers/guests,and the desk itself was far to the right of the line,out of sight to anyone who isn't looking for it.Once we got through the line,with tickets,they padded us down worse than the airports,and with about as much tact. We entered the theatre to find a small cramped space,I have been to biker bars that where bigger, this space had a bar,a flat area in front of the bar where you could stand with your drinks,a dipped seating area in front of a raised stage,a skyloft,and a few booths on the side. Me and my friends went to the side with the booths to sit down,a young gay couple sat in the booth across from us. This area had no signs,gates,ropes,or bouncers but low and behold another grumpy bouncer hurries us out of that as if we where some cheaters or cheapskates rather than treating us as customers and guests. In summery this bar? Event? Dive? Has a slew of grumpy bouncers with its main problem simply being terrible customer service,the type that makes you feel unwanted. I have never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable in an establishment before. This establishment needs to work on how they treat guests and maybe teach Their staff some basic manners.For the record I am a young gay man and was actually looking forward to coming here. An utter disappointment.

A fun time here on WTF Fridays! Was just here for the first time. Music's not bad. Plenty of top 40 remixes, electronic dance, and hip hop.I think this is one of my better OC club experiences so far; but I am biased towards gay clubs because I feel like everyone dances more!Anyway, overall good time, but drinks are kind of weak here..and there's only one bar! Keep that in mind and have fun!

This place is located at Shark Club on Friday nights. If you go straight to the entrance, they will charge you valet parking which I believe is $5. If you drive a little bit past shark club there is a little street there where you can usually find parking if you're early enough.Admission is usually free if you come before 10PM and sign up for the guest list, either on their website or Facebook or one of their other avenues. When you're on the texting or email list, they will usually text or email you an offer for free admission before 10PM.At around 9-9:30PM, they usually have a drag show, and on the times I went it was hosted by Adore Delano, the drag persona of the American Idol contestant and the guy that's going to be on/is on RuPaul's drag race. During the show you will see plenty of guys dressed in drag, I believe lip syncing to various songs, and you will hear Adore's jokes and entertainment. I found the show to actually be pretty good and entertaining, and my friends and I sometimes just come to see the show and not really dance.Afterwards, there is an area to relax and talk in and then there is the dance floor. The relaxing room has a mini bar/stand and people tend to smoke there.The dance floor itself is pretty spacious considering it is in OC and is offering a pretty crowded gay night. The people there are a mixed bag, I felt there were a lot more girls there than at other gay nights/clubs and it seemed there were some straight guys there too... I'm guessing trying to hit on the girls.The dance floor usually has a few go-go dancers and on themed nights there are sometimes drag performances and other dancers there. The stage has various lighting effects from the screen and I believe there was some sort of fogging device.The bar I felt was lacking, especially on their drink specials. I had one of their $5 drink specials before and it tasted super watered down and weak to me. I felt the pricing on the other drinks were also pretty high, especially considering the drink specials VLVT has (though I didn't do a side by side comparison or anything).Overall the drag show is pretty awesome, the crowd is okay and the dance floor is nice for being in OC.

This place is only good when you're super fucked up because at that point you don't care about the music or anything. You just want to dance. Other than that, the music is not good. They always play stuff that's on the radio. Like cmon. They play sad slow songs like, hello! This is a CLUB! Not a funeral!I would mostly go just because Danny Noriega would be there AKA Adore Delano AKA Angel Baby. But I ain't going back anytime soon. Thanks

This Club is so Much fun. EDM is Everything. AYEEEEEEIf they had more Trance music that would be a dream but i know that won't happen because big room house/ Dance is soo mainstream AKA "martin garrix, "showtek" tiesto" etc...., but overall good freaking music, and Fun AF when you're Turnt. Drink Before you get like the undderaged kids we used to be lol, Drinks in general can always be pricy at any club. But It's LIT AF.

I wish I knew about this place much sooner! Free cover until 10:30pm and well drinks were $5 until 11:00pm when I came here last week. They play good music here, top 40s. Not that I don't like techno or house music but I much prefer music I can sing along with when I'm dancing. There's a lot places to sit and lounge. There's also a covered outdoor area with a huge fireplace where you can smoke. Bartenders were courteous and fast to get drinks, and that's always a plus. The crowd here is very diverse, from 18+ high school students to older gentlemen but mostly people in there twenties. Young straight couples like to come here too, I guess. It's also racially diverse, which is a nice change. If I'm clubbing, I'm usually at Rage in West Hollywood on Gameboi night where it's 95% Asians. I love it there but this place also gets high marks.

Why are you playing ODB at a gay club? Bitch, give me MDNA or give me death. They did spin some Brittany, Beyonce, and some Kylie, but enough with the hop-hop. Wrong audience. Everyone just stood there on the dance floor and the DJ didn't care one bit.Their strippers suck and don't even know how to take a dollar bill. They dance, yeah, but they don't interact with anyone. Still, I love this place. Vlvt is so dull and this place just has the energy I'm looking for. Their drinks don't cost a fortune either, so getting drunk is a slight bit less regretful.Gay, straight, abstract sexual identity... everyone should come and try this place out. Not the best club ever, but for Orange County, it's one of the best around.

My boyfriend and I went here last night and we had so much fun together. The dancers were so great! The vibe was a wild one and everyone seemed liked they were having a good time. Even the waitresses and waiters seemed to be dressed up! Honestly, the best part truly was the music, I love good music and this was awesome. It was definitely a night to remember.Just a tip! For anyone who doesn't see the title wtf Friday it is a gay night. So no haters allowed!

Been here many times and they keep things fresh and trendy. Several djs playing different genres. Slew of bartenders so wait time is low. A packed patio to socialize and vape my ass off. Have done vip bottle service several times and the bouncers make sure no one sneaks in to the bottle.Dancers. Lights. Booming sound and large dancefloor
