This place is an absolute (plant-based) treasure and you must protect it at all costs. We've driven past this place hundreds of times, curious but never quite taking the bait. Yesterday morning, there was parking right out front (score!, because 10th Street parking can be gnarly at times) so we just went for it. This shop is SO beautiful. Like just the aesthetic made me want to stay. Everything seemed super clean and chill, and the barista behind the counter was super low-key and friendly. I ordered the Kermie, which was a special matcha on menu served with vanilla and pistachio milk. It was delicately sweet, with the grassy, slightly bitter edge from the matcha smoothed out by the vanilla and pistachio milk. Milder than I had anticipated but delicious nonetheless. It took a lot of willpower to not bat my eyelashes and use my best Miss Piggy voice when talking about it later. I got a pumpkin choco chip muffin for my toddler. It was delicious, slightly dense (true form for a vegan muffin) and very moist. The child gobbled it all up, with minimal crumbs in his wake. Price wise, slightly expensive. However, you're paying for quality and the experience of just existing in this beautiful space. Is it worth it? I believe so.

I'm out to find the best cookie butter latte out there and this one is not that bad but missing a bit more of the cookie butter flavor. Street parking.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly! Cute place to study, get some work done, or catch up with the friend. Got my matcha sweetened with vanilla syrup, they were heavy handed so if you like sweet matcha get it sweetened! The iced cookie butter latte was perfect! Overall would come back!

An all vegan coffee shop? Yes please! The service? Great. The coffee? Yum! Pastries? Yummmm! The ambiance? So chill. Over all else, this is a business that cares for its community, offering a safe space for patrons and bringing people together.

Wood Coffee Co. is such a cute little gem in Long Beach! The cozy aesthetic, warm lighting, and minimalist decor make it the perfect place to relax or get some work done. The coffee is smooth and well-crafted, and I love how they have a great selection of drinks. The welcoming service makes the experience even better. My favorite part? The tabletop window seating...there's just something about sipping coffee while people-watching that makes a café feel extra special. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

On a slow mission to try all coffee spots in LB! I'mnot a big coffee snob so I don't know a lot about coffee. Usually my bf and I will judge based on the strength of the coffee and just the overall sweetness/flavor. We tend to pick something new every time and it's usually something off a seasonal menu. I loved the drinks at Wood Coffee. Just the perfect amount of sweet and not too strong. I will be back. The staff was friendly and inviting. There is a lot of counter space to work from if you're looking to do that. Just a good vibe here!

Great atmosphere, clean and inviting. It was nice and quiet in there. Love that everything is Vegan. First time in and coffee was great. They have lots of different options of seasonal drinks and vegan pastries. I'll be back again to try something new.

Really cute coffee shop located in the heart of Long Beach. The ambiance inside is welcoming and bright with plenty of seating. The employee was very friendly and helpful, patiently waiting for me to make up my mind. I ordered the iced rose latte and vanilla iced latte. I like how the drinks come with standard oat milk. It's a very vegan friendly coffee shop. I also tried the vegan danish and it was flaky and good without the usual overly oily flavor. There is street parking right outside the shop and it is easily accessible. Overall, I would return when and if I am in the area!

I take my coffee very seriously and have fairly high standards as it relates to caffeinated beverages. With that said, Wood coffee is my absolute favorite coffee shop in all of Long Beach. I heard about it because it is entirely plant-based, from their milks to their snack/sweet food offerings. I love supporting vegan businesses and I am so glad I tried Wood because their drinks are delicious! I love the oat milk lattes, iced Kermie matcha (it uses pistachio milk and it is DIVINE), and their seasonal drinks. My go-to orders are the Kermie if I'm in the mood for a Matcha or the Ps Chai with decreased sweetness (pumpkin spice chai espresso latte) if I'm in the mood for coffee. Both are so so delicious! The employees are also very friendly and helpful in providing more information and suggestions. The space is also really cute and there are several different types of seating to enjoy your drink at. My only note is that parking is tough at this location so give yourself extra time for street parking if you're meeting up with someone.
