Vine Restaurant & Bar

We were taken here by some family friends and I gotta say...I really love the ambiance here! It's giving candlelight, cozy, but upscale. Staff is accommodating. Our server DID speak a bit too quickly when going over the specials for the night, because there are a lot. Feedback would be-- slow it down because I felt like I needed to take notes. The food itself was lovely. You can see my very blurry picture of the warm focaccia artisan rosemary bread. That was super tasty with the butter. The rosemary is not baked in the bread so prepare for those loose rosemary bits to be on your hand or on your face if that is how you eat haha. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli which had sage brown butter and truffle goat cheese and roasted hazelnut. It was supremely delicious. Pasta was al dente. Highly recommend. Steaks here are pretty good as well, good sauce to go with it. Lots of great specials. I suggest don't try to sub in a side. Someone in my party wanted to sub the vegetables for pasta and the pasta sub was ehhhh...left a lot to be desired. But they gave us a cheesecake since that substitution wasn't up to snuff. Really rich and indulgent.Definitely would come back though. This place is awesome.

The best burger in town. The Vine has a lot to offer. There are a lot of great meals and it's on the nicer side. But don't let all the fancier food on the menu have you look past the burger, they make the best hamburger in town. I get the American Kobe wine country burger. The Mexicali is good too, but that Kobe burger is really incredible. Great spot as well. There's a more formal side and then a more fun bar side. Not a big place but offers a lot obviously. One of San Clemente's best restaurants.

The chicken schnitzel was one of the best dishes we've ever had in our lives. The chicken was moist and well seasoned, the combination of textures with the pasta it's served with went SO well. The maitake flavor pairs so well, this could be a Michelin star dish.The brussel sprouts were also delicious. The duck wings were good but I wasn't as into them as the other dishes. Heather was our server and she was so great and knowledgeable on the menu. The restaurant was cozy and upscale with white linen table clothings. A 10/10 experience all around, we will def be returning.

Come to find out this is a sister restaurant to my FAVORITE place in south Orange County, Bloom in SJC. Vine didn't disappoint. It's a great ambiance in each dining section. The service is top notch. The food is just flat out incredible. And the drinks are always good. I have nothing but good things to ever say about this restaurant group. I'm a huge advocate of what they are doing in south Orange County. Cheers!

Been here many times. I love the food. But this review is for the cocktails at Vine. Greeted by Gabe as we walked in And sat at the bar.. Connor was our amazing mixologist. We had a few cocktails but the smoke show is always a fan favorite. Many locals come and they seem to know everyone by first name. Excellent place to have dinner. Or just to stop by for an excellent cocktail

Amazing service and food ! Kaylee was an amazing server and everyone at the restaurant was so kind and welcoming , definitely try the pumpkin ravioli it's not something I'd usually get but we were lucky enough to try it and wow it was amazing the Mac and cheese is a must ! Add the truffle it's worth it , the vibe in the restaurant is romantic and a very good spot for date night we sat outside and it was beautiful next time I'm in San Clemente I'll be coming back you can tell the food is made fresh and they put a lot of care into the food and service here every dish we tried was delicious hands down on of the best restaurants I've been to

This has been on my Bookmark for a while! I will add Alex Hall from Selling the OC recommended too on her insta lol Pros:Making reservations, service, ambiance, location etc were all 10/10. I think there was this big guy who I believed answered my call for reservations, and took me to my table, and played bartender--prob he's the OM he killed it. The Chef's Cocktail of the day and Brussel Sprouts were delicious! Cons:Where the restaurant fell short for me was the rest of the food I ordered. Duck Wings- I was excited to try these but they are a acquired taste. Meet is tough. And I think they changed their sauce over the years b/c it was def not "Lemon and Honey" the sauce was likely from a can of sweet and sour asian sauceMexical Burger- small burger and huge amt of fries. Fries and ranch were great. The Burger was just alright. Burger was not spicy despite jalapeños. Chicken Schnitzel- which had rave reviews was just standard to me. Well cooked with pesto and vegetables but nothing special.

A friend recommended this restaurant. When we arrived we were seated promptly in a nice outside area. They brought a complimentary order of Brussels sprouts that was amazing and my favorite thing on the menu. We tried 4 different entrees and they were all excellent .

A very charming restaurant with delicious food and excellent service, if you're in the San Clemente area, I recommend that you check it out.

Our dinner here was incredible! The absolute star of the show was Heather, our amazing waitress. She was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable about the whole menu. She gave truly the perfect service and I would go back just to see her again! The food and drinks were 10/10 but Heather was truly 11/10
