Best pizza in Orange County in my opinion!The restaurant has a nice outside ambiance and is great on a beautiful California dayTheir circle and square pizza are the best in OC! We arrived for our 4pm reservation excited to try this place that we heard about. Even though there was no one waiting, plenty of empty tables and us having a reservation, the host made us wait about 10 minutes. Then proceeded to take us upstairs which was a huge flight of stairs. Most people do not want to do a stair master workout just to eat. The upstairs was definitely not as cute as the vibe as downstairs. In fact, there was no vibe. It was cold and no heaters were on. Not sure why we had to be seated up here when there were plenty of tables downstairs. If you are here for the first time or on date, I would ask to wait to be seated downstairs. Once we sat down, I immediately wanted to order the garlic pull apart bread to which I was told they ran out. Great. Now I'm officially annoyed. We ordered the French Fries and the Potato Bianca pizza and then began our miserable time of no waitress, no service. I had to flag down 2 people and wait 10 minutes for someone to turn the heater on. The French Fries looked and tasted like shoestring fries from a frozen Ore Ida bag that they placed on a plate but forgot to salt them. Do not order these. The Potato Bianca pizza had fresh ingredients and looked appealing but was also under salted. Our waitress was MIA & no where to be found the whole time. Not once did she come by to check on us. I needed a napkin the entire meal, but could not find anyone. I finally flagged someone at the end of the meal. Someone who was not our waitress. I had hoped the order the ice cream with olive oil and pistachios but the thought of trying to flag down a waitress to wait for a spoon was more than I could bear so I had to bounce as fast as I could. I was so irritated by this point. It appears that because this place has so much hype about it's food, that they feel they can slack on service. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST SERVICE. And the food was MEH at best. Truly Pizza, you Truly SUCKED. #Truth

Walked in without a reservation and sat at the bar which is first come first serve and also dog friendly!Hostess gave menus to three other parties next to me that walked in after but got skipped for some reason so after a few minutes I had to ask for a menu.Linda was my server and she was very personable. Went with the champions cheese since it won 1st in a world pizza competition last year. Truly might've been the best pizza I've had in my entire life and I've eat my fair share of pizza. Dough was elite.Was going to go on a pizza crawl and try B+C after but this pizza was so good...ended up getting something to go from here instead. Went with Linda's recommendation the vodka square with pepperoni, her personal favorite. She knows her stuff and glad she didn't steer me in the wrong direction

Found this place through TikTok and happened to be in the area. Highly recommend making a reservation as you will probably end up having to wait around 40 mins since it seems they batch their seating. Service was really great though. They had free dog treats for my pup (dog friendly) and they also gave out blankets since they only have outdoor seating and it can get pretty chilly. Outside is BEAUTIFUL and they decorate their patio well. Parking was pretty easy to find also. Only minor complaint I had was how pricey the menu was but it is to be expected of the area and quality of food. We got 2 pizzas and the garlic rolls and ended up paying just about $100 in total.Smoky vodka w/ pepperoni: 5/5 honestly this was very flavorful and recommended by the waitressSuprema: 4/5 pretty good but nothing specialGarlic pull apart bread: 5/5 I recommend this!

Came here for girls night on Monday and had an amazing experience! Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and attentive - asked for our names and interacted with us quite a bit. The ambiance was great as well with a very cute patio setting. They offered us blankets and had heaters to keep us warm. We started the garlic pull apart bread which was insane. We devoured it so I couldn't even get a pic lol. Then we shared the smoky vodka and champion cheese pizzas. Loveddd the vodka one - probably because of the ricotta and the fluffy crust. The cheese was good and won #1 in the world last year at some convention in Vegas however I thought the other two things we ordered were actually better. The girls and I agreed we loved it and that it would be our new spot. Can't wait for next time!

Wow! One of my new favorite spots for pizza!The ambience here was very cute! They have a downstairs area that's mostly al fresco and an upstairs area that's a little more covered. We were seated upstairs and Linda was our server. She was amazing! Extremely friendly and helpful.We wanted to go for one square pizza and one round. We ended up with the umami mushroom for the round, and the smoky vodka (plus pepperoni) for our square. We also got the spagnola salad and buffalo wings. Starters were very yummy and a good portion size! The pizzas though - incredible. The crusts were fantastic. The square pizza was fluffy, almost focaccia-like, and the round pizza had a nice, crispy crust. The flavors were amazing! The umami mushroom was unique with the addition of sesame oil and sesame seeds, and the smoky vodka was great with the flavorful sauce and creamy cheese! I'm also a huge fan of cup and char pepperoni, so I was glad for that add-on, but just wished there were more!We had dessert at home so skipped it this time, but the vanilla soft serve with a drizzle of olive oil sounded nice!Would definitely return!

This restaurant has a beautiful concept that the seating is all outdoors and the kitchen is inside the building. It is super gorgeous and the location is fantastic. I recommend making reservations ahead of time to avoid a long wait that can be 1-2 hours depending on how busy it gets. I can tell Truly cares about every detail of their dishes when served, like the salad has shaved hard boiled eggs and it adds a great texture and flavor. Truly Bougie.Checked in at 3 pm on an overcast day. Hostess said "oh we won't have any tables open until 8 pm tonight." So we sat at the bar facing a wall. 15 minutes later the place was half empty for the remainder of our meal. Hype.The Spagnola salad was good. Unique flavors mixed well. The Crispy Pepperoni was crispy for the first few bites. Of course as it cooled it became hard. So hard that my subsequent slices were hard as rocks. The roof of my mouth and gums got sore and irritated. The other thick slice pizza joints in DP and SC are much better.It's a great place to hang out and be seen. The patio reminds me of being in Sorrento with the lemons hanging from above. But the pizza...nah.. overpriced. One of the owners has a place in Vegas that is much less bougie and better tasting pies.

Amazingly refreshing ambiance with outdoor seating makes it a great spot near lantern district. Delicious artisanal pizza I must say. We had the Dante and Umami Mushrooms pizza and both were exceptional. Two thumbs up for the friendly staff from the hostess who was welcoming to our server Kendall who was very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend it and will come back again. Tip: reserve in advance or seat yourself along the front tables on the right, first come first serve basis.. we were able to seat ourselves in 10 minutes when the wait time for reserved seating was 2 hours

Truly has become our family staple for pizza night. We absolutely love this spot and you cannot go wrong with any pizza you order. Our favorites so far have been the spicy pepperoni with ricotta and the kids love the cheese pizza. Their dough is nothing short of perfection, garlic knots are heaven and their blue cheese salad with dates and bacon complement each other so well. Each server is so attentive and makes sure we are enjoying our meal without hovering. And the best seats in the house is upstairs, it's lush and green and you feel like you've walked into an Italian paradise.
