I love this place so much The ancient grain bowl is fantastic I also love the waiter Cameron we had today. He was professional, funny, friendly, and just fresh air. Folks are so rude today. I appreciate hearts like Cameron's. I highly recommend this location

Hit or miss. My friend chose the ancient grain bowl with shrimp and it was the bomb! Very flavorful but too spicy for her taste. I can't remember the complicated name of the weak cocktail that she had and liked it. 4 Stars I had the Trio: Salad, Lemon Oregano chicken wrap and a Pineapple spritzer. The wrap was dry and bland. That trifecta gave me bubble guts and the Hershey squirts! Big fat zero stars!The chocolate peanut butter tart was good but I didn't care for the flakes of coconut mixed with the filling, It threw the whole texture off. The coconut should've be on the top and toasted like a Macaroon cookie or coconut flour used in the crust.Busy parking lot. A heads up finding a space is very challenging.

We love this place!Food is consistently good and the staff is great! A must if you are shopping or driving by! Great for drink too!

We ordered 2 turkey burgers and they very dry basically were buns an a piece of a dry turkey meat.Also the cheesy mash potato did not have any cheese in it

True Food kitchen is always delicious and they offer such a good healthy variety of food.The interior is open and they have a patio as well as a private room for parties. I have been ordering it to go recently and it is super easy to order online, pick up and go. They have a separate counter where you can go and bypass the crowd. I recently tried their house made vegan burger and it is super delicious. I like to try their seasonal sides. The sides are nice and small to share and order multiple.Always a good experience, nice staff and bright and clean environment. I highly recommend.

True Food Kitchen in Newport is a great spot, especially after going to Fashion Island! We've been to the Pasadena location and this one did not disappoint. Their happy hour is excellent, with delicious food and drinks that never miss. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus, and the service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back!

Ambiance is great. Service was kind and courteous however they had a miscommunication between the servers and subsequently my friend and i waited 20 minutes after being seated just to be greeted and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Food took a bit longer too. Then when we got our food--which we both had the same side dish---my friend's portion was significantly smaller than mine. Thankfully after notifying the sever, they brought more of the side dish since her portion was so small. They took care of each problem that was presented but i don't think I'll be returning.

Had been wanting to try this healthy chain and recently was able to enjoy a pretty good causal bite the Newport Fashion Island location. They accommodated me by substituting a grain to make the ancient grain bowl gluten free. We really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and cauliflower sides. Super tasty. And the special butternut squash soup was so yummy. Herbs like sage made it really flavorful. The food here is not fancy but if you're looking for a quick fix that is pretty healthy, TFK should do nicely.

Friendly service and a pretty spot to have lunch.They have plenty of vegan, vegetarian and meat options, which is always nice. Most of the options are healthy and light, and they also have quite a few juices on the menu. My harvest bowl was spicy and flavorful. So even though it's healthy/nutritious, the food is also tasty A little pricey ($$) but great for a quick and light meal.

Spinach and Mushroom Pizza - (5/5): Baked perfectly with a crispy bottom, flavorful with the mushrooms. The lemon almond ricotta helped the pizza feel more light and less rich. Loved it! Vegan too.Edamame dumplings - (4/5): Apparently one of the most popular starters and the touch of truffle oil was nice but otherwise not outstanding but still yummy. It was kind of salad-y but also kind of soup-y. I wished the dish committed to one or the other.Loaded fingerling potatoes - (3/5) - The ranch dressing and chili garlic crunch on the potatoes were delicious but the potatoes themselves tasted like they were only boiled. Would have been nice if they were roasted and had more of a crunch or flavor.Iced oat shakerato (5/5) - This was sooo tasty with the perfect amount of sugar.Really nice outdoor seating and also dog and kid friendly. Service was really great!
