TRU Bowl Superfood Bar - Newport Beach

This place is so good! I love the variety of options for the base. The blue is a mix of mango and tropical fruits which I love. Overall", good service, staff was friendly. Ambiance is a typical fast casual make your own açaí bowl. - I love the mix of the blue, ube, and regular açaí base. With the granola, fruit, chia seeds, everything paired so well and was so refreshing!

When we arrived, they were out of açai, but it didn't matter because Blue Majik was the greatest thing I've ever put in my mouth. This picture is a size medium, and it was huge. Filled to the absolute brim. The granola and the berries and the honey omg omg omg. The blue majik legit tasted like cotton candy ice cream. It was the sweetest most delicious thing ever. They do not skimp on portions here. There are 3 tables to sit inside and get a break from the sun. I will be back here next weekend.

FRESH fruit! Sometimes the fruit can be so so at açaí places. But we really enjoyed our bowls. The price for the amount was fair and just tasted really good! Size small bowl you get 2 bases and the medium you get 3 bases. Decent amount of places to sit inside and enjoy your food. The mango base was very good, not too sweet but great flavor. Definitely a good spot to hit up before the beach or after! Parking is just if you can find it... paid or not. But for the most part you should be good.

Absolutely amazing Açaí bowl, super fresh fruit and everything was full of flavor.Service was great, supper nice and friendly.

Hands down the best açaí bowl I've ever had. Fruits, bases, and toppings were amazing and tasted so good. Service was friendly and fast. Cozy, and comfortable ambiance with few tables for seating. Highly recommended! We'll definitely will be back for more soon.

A great menu that unfortunately totally failed in execution - both of our pitaya bowls were complete liquid. Out of hundreds of these bowls we've had over the years, I don't think we've ever had a worse bowl. It was literally pink sugar water. The fruit and toppings looked great, but within minutes of receiving our bowls they had sunken into the pink liquid. I don't understand why staff members wouldn't have told us if something was wrong with the pitaya - we could have easily ordered something else.

I wanted something refreshing before my meal and deciding upon this smoothie place! I ordered the Dragon Slayer (Small) and my friend ordered the medium size. What was confusing though was that our drinks were the same, but were different in color and also had a slight difference in taste. One of the workers recommended this one for those who liked sour because it was a bit sour from one of the ingredient, but it wasn't sour at all. The flavor was very slight, which I didn't mind but I tasted more coconut than anything else that was in the drink. Probably might not return unless I was in the area craving a smoothie. In that case, I might have to choose a different drink.

I just have to give the crew at Tru Bowl a shout out for giving me such great service. The Bowls are delicious but the service is amazing!!! Especially the young lady with the blue hair :-)

Super cute aesthetic bowls. They definitely prioritize the look of the bowls. Love the fresh fruit and the different flavors of bowls they have. A good amount of açaí in the bowl and if you make your own you get unlimited toppings. The service was great too the girl serving us was very friendly and quick. The premade açaí is always too sweet for me and I like places better when they blend it on the spot. Unfortunately the premade scoops just taste like sugar. Worth a try though!

Ordered the OG and it was awful!!! It didn't look at all like the picture and it was so runny! The consistency of milk. I do not recommend this place. It used to be AMAZING
