Tres Compas Mexican Grill

So good!They made me trust food trucks again. I had the Al pastor mulitas and mahi mahi tacos. Food came out very quickly before we got our beers. The tortilla are next level. I would eat here again. Wish they had an option to leave a tip with credit card as they deserve it.

Avoid this food truck if you have a dairy allergy. Unlike other Mexican restaurants, they are not willing to do orders without contaminating the food with cheese. I waited in the line for 30 minutes at Peralta Park just to hear that the chef was not willing to accomodate my allergy to dairy and cheese. He also did not seem very nice and it looked like he shouted at me for my allergy. Next time, please put a sign warning customers who have allergies. Allergies are common here in America! What a disappointment. Why eat here when there are many other Mexican restaurants and establishments to choose from? I will never get in line at this establishment ever again!

Had food here yesterday at the Los Alamitos military training base firework event(July 3rd)! Wish we would of ate before we got here, I understand there was a lot of people but waited almost 2 hours to get our food! & was so disappointed when we got our burrito and tacos. The Al pastor meat was terrible and my husbands tacos didn't even have cilantro, onions or a lime. Wasted our time here instead of enjoying the events!

A two star review means "could've been better."I think their vegetarian tacos could certainly be way better. Big ol' hunks of unseasoned zucchini in a soggy corn tortilla. Overall pretty gross and unappetizing.It's funny, a veteran chef can season and cook meat at an expert level, but given the task to cook a vegetable dish and all culinary finesse goes out the window. Slap together some plain vegetables, and there you go. Seems like an afterthought.I'd recommend more savory ingredients like mushrooms, avocado, etc., but I'm going to avoid eating here in the future, when possible.

Amazing!!!!My job hosted Christmas lunch and brought Tres Compas Food Truck. First time trying out their food and I order chicken burrito it came with chips and salsa. The burrito is big size, it includes rice, beans, chicken and pico de gallo salsa. Overall great seasoning. The side hot salsa is spicy but so good real style Mexican salsa. I do recommend this food truck for anyone that likes a taste of authentic Mexican food.

Amazing food. Usually when i order tacos, I feel the need to reintroduce back some moisture via salsa. Not here. Their carnitas were so juicy and flavorful that I was afraid of possibly messing it with salsa. And i dont know how they do it but their pickled carrots and onions are made different from any other that you've tried. Please do yourself a favor and make your next mexican food run wherever this truck happens to be.

I was introduced to the Tres Compas food truck on a Gigabit fiber optic promotion in my neighborhood. They were giving out free tacos and they were delicious. I had a carnitas taco and an al pastor taco with mile sauce. The al pastor taco was so good. I had to let the owner Shelly know how delicious her food was. She informed me that she was trying to get a brickCarnitas TacosCarnitas Tacos and mortar site in the near future. Glad these guys made it through COVID and I wish the best for them in the near future

I went to go walk my dogs and saw the food truck at the apartment complex and so I decided to give it try. The menu had a lot of different options I give it that. I first ordered chicken taquitos, they didn't have oil so no fried food for the night. No problem! I decided on a chicken torta with NO cheese and NO aïoli sauce. Excited to get home only to find a lot of aïoli sauce and some cheese. Super disappointedI was the third person to order because I couldnt make up mind so I was standing there for a little while. I even gave them a tip. Pay attention to your customers more. Not like you guys had a rush. Like I said I was at the park with my dogs. Saw you guys resting before your shift

Looking for best gourmet Mexican food truck bang for your buck? This truck has you covered! Got the Steak Fajitas Salad and was NOT disappointed. Don't want steak? The employees are perfectly happy to substitute whatever meat you prefer -- but I highly recommend the steak! Juicy and tender, and a HUGE take-away box of it in case you want to save some for later. Wait was moderate and the red salsa was SPICY! Watch out before you go pouring it all over your food!
