Located in an unassuming strip mall one will find this Bao bakery. There are a variety of choices, pork, chicken, taro and veggie which are sold individually or in a box. One can mix varieties to complete a box or purchase them individually. The chicken and egg was very tasty, ample filling to bun ratio. The veggie bun was also well filled and flavorful. They're served warm and ready to be eaten. The lady behind the counter was friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!

I was excited to discover a shop that sells only banh bao. I picked up a few boxes while I was in SoCal and brought them to a potluck, where everyone thought the baos were tasty. However, I did wish there was Chinese sausage in them. I definitely will be stopping by again!

I have been a regular at a local spot for many years and I always recommend it to my friends who visit from out of town. Whenever I go there, I cannot resist buying a box of their steam buns. I often end up buying a few more boxes for my family. After so many visits, I finally decided to write a review and give them the recognition they deserve. What sets these steam buns apart is their perfect balance of meat-to-bun ratio. Instead of focusing on too much bun, they put all their effort into creating a delicious filling. The combination of pork, sausage, and egg in these little wonders is absolutely amazing. The meat filling has a delicious savory richness that is balanced by a subtle sweetness, and the bun has the right texture and flavor. The service at this place reminds me of Vietnamese to-go culture - simple, yet sincere. The pace might feel fast, and the interactions might seem short, but there is a genuine connection beneath the surface.

Lots of people come here and I see why. Might be a line but it moves fast. These banb baos are delicious. Much smaller than at the food to go places but the quality is amazing. The filling is super super flavorful and many different types of fillings to pick from Also love how they have the deep fried banh baos which I haven't seen anywhere else and it's delicious also!Just get one of each or even a box!

Picked up some steamed buns last Saturday... #1 and as previously mentioned there is plenty of meat-to-bread ratio in these buns! 9 Buns for $13.00 and yes they charge tax if you use a card... but HEY they accept credit cards that is usually not the case in these places. Also, they had a wide variety of buns to choose from - both savory and sweet. Counter service was fine, though I detected a wee bit of a language barrier, which didn't affect the transaction, when she wasn't sure of something the Guy in the back would come up and answer or clarify for us.Mama Sassy Pat (my neighbor's Mother is visiting) LOVED the fried buns she said they were capital D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S Delicious ((smile)).Located in a strip mall on the corner of Euclid and Garden Grove Blvd. on the West side of Euclid, parking is available here as well as other Asian restaurants and Dalat Market. Respectfully Reviewed.

[I only write real reviews based on my experience]The lady at the counter was so RUDE! I was in OC with my family and we happened to be in the area so we were searching on yelp to find a place that sells buns. So this place popped up in the search and we saw high rating so we decided to stop by at this place to get some buns. My sister and I were walking to this place, the moment we stepped our feet into their place, the lady at the counter immediately asked us to order. It was less than 5 SECONDs that we just got there. We told her that we were not ready to order yet because we needed to look at their menu first. That lady who was helping us looked so pissed for some reason and she talked to the other lady who walked from the back and spoke something in Vietnamese after we told her that. I think she was talking bitchy about us. I believe she was the owner, but what kind of OWNER behaves like this? They are supposed to be friendly with customers. Anyway, back to where I was. So we ordered a few boxes of their buns, and 1 minutes later, the lady walked back from their kitchen and gave us the frozen ones. We were shocked because we expected buns to be steamy and warm. So we ask the lady to microwave them for us so we can eat in the car. The moment we asked her to do that, she gave us another pissed look. In my mind, I was like "What the hell?". I was there to buy their buns not to beg for their FREE food. While they were microwaving our buns, there was a white lady walking into their store. Guess what they did, that lady at the counter spoke to the customer very nicely and in a lovely tone. AT THAT MOMENT, I swear I will NEVER ever go back to their place because they only greeted well to Americans but when they saw medium tone like us, they were being bitchy. I do not understand whoever gave them high rating. The owner/lady needs to learn how to fix her attitude. Customer service: 0 out of 5Buns: 3 out of 5

This is my favorite place to get bánh bào. It's the perfect harmony between the sweet Bao and savory pork/egg filling, yum. They just have the ratios right. More affordable than many other places and it tastes better! I've purchased "higher quality" bao that was $5+ and they don't taste as good as the baos here. The bao is not too small and not too big. It's always a big hit at every pot luck and party. My sister lives out of town and she was so happy when I got her bánh bào from here. There are staff that speak English. I know it's intimidating for non-Vietnamese speaking customers sometimes but no need to worry at this location. Staff are really friendly. They also take credit card.

*bring cash if you can, they charge additional tax for card* Boxes of 9 are also more worth it.Yummy Vietnamese buns/baos! I love that they have fried options here. These baos have a pretty ideal ratio of breading to meat & the breading is more soft & crumbly vs. thick & chewy like many other places. It's a little on the sticky side though. I ordered a few of #2 - pork with quail egg, & a ready-made fried version of #1 - pork, sausage, egg that was sitting in a heated display case. Otherwise I believe you'll need to order the fried buns separately with a 3 order minimum & additional cost. Both were delicious & I personally liked the fried bao a little more. Service was quick since they had a lot of steamed buns that were premade already. I parked in the lot next to theirs (by office depot) since parking looked a bit tricky on their side. Will be back to order more next time since they make a great lunch or snack!
