The Wanted Taco

Andy and Victoria were terrific and provided excellent service. They were awesome and worked hard to make the food for our guests. The food itself was fine; the chicken is shredded chicken (wish it was grilled pieces) and the carne asada seemed like low quality red meat; we got the shrimp upgrade and also veggies which were both good. The rice and beans were good and the salsa bar was well-presented. We paid for the upgrade of having meat quesadillas but what was actually served was pre-made cheese quesadilla with your choice of meat placed on top. It wasn't actually a meat quesadillas that you'd expect (like a chicken quesadillas would have chicken and cheese between the tortillas--this was just cheese quesadilla between the tortillas). A few things could have been handled better: (1) ordering process was difficult with long delays in getting responses from the coordinator; there were also mistakes in the quote provided and unnecessary follow-ups as a result but the coordinator was very nice and honored their original quote. (2) the Guacamole is "free" but they don't bring enough. We ran out early in the process (like 30-45 minutes into the 2-hour service). What's crazy is that we only had 50 guests show up due to last minute cancellations and no-shows but had ordered for 63. I wish they had told me that they typically run out of guac (as the servers told me which indicates they don't bring enough) so I could have paid more for the guac and not run out. They actually charged extra for the sour cream believe it or not which was odd but fine because we didn't run out. I didn't mind paying for something as long as we actually get it and it's enough for our guest count. (3) there was no menu at all so most people had no idea that they could order different items (in our case, tacos, mulitas, and quesadillas). I asked many guests whether they tried the mulita and they either said what's that or said they didn't know they could order that because no one told them. A simple menu to put up on the ledge of the taco stand would be very professional and let people know what they can order. (4) A few hours after they left, I found a box full of tortillas (taco, mulita, and quesadillas sized tortillas) by the wall in our backyard near where they had been serving. By the time I saw it, ants were going everywhere in the box and it was a mess. I think they forgot to put it in our house like the rest of the left-over food. Anyways, this was a decent experience but not the 5-star experience we were hoping to get.

Food was fresh and flavorful. The servers were friendly and cordial. The jamaica was a hit for me! I could have put a straw in the 5-gallon container and drank it all myself!

The Wanted Taco was amazing at our event. Very great price, outstanding quality food, professional staff, and top notch communication. We will definitely be using them again

Had The Wanted Taco for our baby shower of 80 people and they were so wonderful to work with! Tacos were delicious, staff were extremely friendly and professional and were punctual with set up and clean up time. Our guests said the tacos were so delicious and wanted their info to hire for future events. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for catering for our event :) we had extra food at the end of the event, and they kindly boxed up everything for us to take home.

It's been a while since we used The Wanted Taco but every time anyone asks for a taco catering option I send them to The Wanted Taco. Logistics were easy to take care of. They've got the contract and everything set up well. The food was very good. Everyone was happy. We had some leftovers. They packed it up nicely and we were able to use the next day for a second gathering. They made it super easy by bringing everything that we needed. It was a low maintenance party for us because of it.

Just had a party over the weekend and booked the wanted taco! Nate and Andrew arrived promptly and was friendly from beginning til the end. We all enjoyed the service and food tasted great! They even packed us whatever was left over. We received many compliments on the food we chose and were asked who we used. Thank you for the positive experience!!

Received a free quote through their website & able to book my date/time easily. Friendly, professional staff (Bladamir & Nicole) arrived, set up & served. Food was delicious & appreciated they boxed up any leftovers! Would definitely use again!
