We came right as they opened so everything was so hot & fresh! Servers were so nice and fun and the space was clean and inviting! We got the signature Kare Kare, Shanghai Lumpia, and Tortang Talong. Soooo good! I don't usually eat Kare Kare but this was so delicious and came with hige chunks of meat and plenty of vegetables.

3.5 stars. Was invited to come here with some friends; since the restaurant's portions are humongous, the friends wanted a larger group to be able to order/eat more. We found parking easily in the plaza's parking lot.We had a reservation since it was a group of 9, so no wait to be seated. Service was mediocre, they seemed very busy so we had to frequently flag someone down to order, to ask for bowls, refill waters, to ask for to-go containers, etc. The interior is spacious and clean though, and there was Filipino music playing. We ordered several dishes to share family style. As mentioned, portions are very large. Everthing was tasty and flavorful, though I will admit I have also had better Filipino food elsewhere. Their two house specialties crispy pata (super crispy) and kare kare were excellent, though the oxtail in the kare kare has to be added for an additional cost. There was a slight mishap when we were paying the bill. We asked for the check and asked if the gratuity was included, since the menu said 15% gratuity would automatically be added for groups of 8 or more. They also would only take a single credit card (we were only planning to split amongst two cards). After running the card, they then said actually, the tip was NOT included and instead of re-running the additional amount on the card, insisted that we tip in cash. I think this was poorly handled on the restaurant's part given that we explicitly asked if the tip was included, plus not everyone in our group carried enough cash for tip on such a large bill.Overall, food and portions are good though.

Came here for dinner after my son's dr appt. We ordered the lechon kawali and sinigang with rice. Both dishes came out promptly. The lechon was delicious, juicy, and crispy. The sinigang was a bit sour for me but I still enjoyed it with rice. The service was quick and our server was attentive. We'll be back!

A little bit on the pricier side for Filipino food but taste wise, not bad at all. We ordered the whole savory chicken and sisig with rice. The restaurant is not too large but a rectangular shaped dining room. Service is mediocre but they got everything accurate.

Decent spot for authentic Filipino food in Anaheim! Lechon kawali was seasoned well and extra crispy, served with their version of Mang Tomas. Beef sinigang had the perfect balance of sour and savory, and their use of tender beef chuck compliments the dish well. Service was quick and friendly as well. They're known for their crispy pata and kare kare so might have to try those next time!

It's my first time eating at Barrio Fiesta in Anaheim and eating Barrio Fiesta's dishes in decades. My aunt and uncle came here for lunch on a cloudy Saturday afternoon for lunch. There's plenty of parking within the plaza at the corner of Euclid and Romneya. We arrived before the lunch rush, so thankfully we were immediately seated. The ambiance is very spacious, bright with tall windows and plenty of seating that matches Barrio Fiesta's theme of "lutong bahay" or homecooked Filipino dishes. We ordered Pancit Canton, Beef Bulalo soup, Kare Kare (without oxtail, because oxtail is $10.00 extra) and steamed rice. Our orders were ready within 10 minutes and all were still piping warm. The pancit was packed with ingredients ranging from shrimp, pieces of fishballs, pork and chopped vegetables. The bulalo soup had generous portions of cabbage, corn and beef chunks, while the Kare Kare had a perfect creamy texture with tender beef chunks, tripe, green beans, bok choy, sliced cabbage and eggplant. All the dishes had an umami that it matches their signature recipes from the Philippines. As expected, we were unable to finish all our orders so we took the rest to go. I would love to take my friends and other relatives here for the full experience of authentic Filipino cuisine. At Barrio Fiesta, it truly feels like a fiesta when you eat here!

Food: This place definitely serves family style so keep that in mind when you order. We come here for their sinigang, which is hands down one of the best! Their kare kare is also very good as well as their lumpia! We definitely ordered too much for two people but were able to take it home and enjoy!Service and Ambiance: Service is ok. They tend to be busy on weekends because a lot of families go here so prepare for a bit of a wait if you're coming during times like after church or something. This place is super casual, a great place for authentic pinoy food!

This place is my parents favorite Filipino food when they visit me in the area. Busy Sunday mornings and they don't take reservations.

TAKE: Crispy pata, Kare-Kare, Pinakbet, Pork Binagoongan, Pansit Bihon, Halo-Halo, Shrimp and Vegetable in coconut milk, Lumpia sariwa, Pansit PalabokHAVE: Barrio Fiesta serves up some authentic Filipino food with a great variety to choose from. While the food is generally good, I found that consistency in some dishes can be a bit hit or miss. I once had the binagoongan, which was way too watery. Their pancit bihon that I ordered a couple of times hasn't tasted consistent, either. But on a brighter note, their kare kare is a standout - it's among the best I've had. Their to-go orders are also reliable. I've ordered many times for takeout, and they always get my order right, which is a big plus.SERVICE: Their service is pretty good! The two guys who usually serve quickly respond whenever we need something.AMBIANCE: Simple decor with a mix of Filipino feel. Overall, solid service, simple ambiance, good food despite of some inconsistencies. Id say this place is still worth checking out.

Mom, do you work here? All I wanted to eat was the Kare-Kare, and ended up coming out with leftovers for Crispy Pusit, Tortang Talong, Kare-Kare, Garlic Rice, and Gulaman At Sago. Kare-Kare was as amazing as I expected it to be. The meat was soft enough to cut through with just my utensils and the sauce was perfect when eaten with the rice. I feel like I could just eat the sauce with rice and bagoong and I'm set. But the beef and oxtail just brings it to a whole new level. Crispy Pusit is the restaurant's answer to Calamari because well...it's literally fried squid. Haha. The vinegar was a nice compliment and the crunch was immaculate. A highly recommended appetizer.Tortang talong (eggplant omelette) is a solid breakfast plate (also sold outside of breakfast hours) and the banana ketchup they pair it with on the side is so good! Best believe it was the first thing I ate for breakfast the next day. Sago at Gulaman is an incredibly sweet refreshment comprised of brown sugar syrup, gelatin, and tapioca seeds with crushed ice. This is how people who are addicted to sugar relapse! A worthwhile one, at least. Coming back again with the rest of my family!
