This is probably my favorite place to go when I need a day off from life!I love the iced coffee they make weather it's Martin or the owner Samone! It's just good Iced Coffee!Today I asked about the soup of the day-what a selection! I chose Butter Nut Squash a healthy option, along with a Chicken Cordon Bleu Panini Sandwich; my mouth is already watering just writing this post ! I can't wait!If you are in the neighborhood make it a point to stop by the Gathering Cafe! You'll love the food and atmosphere! They are open until 3pm so just allow yourself time to enjoy the experience!

What a cozy little cafe in Long Beach. The Gathering Cafe is located on the corner of E Village Road and Montair Ave. There is no lot to park in, so you'll need to street park in the neighborhood. The space is very open with its purple painted walls on the coffee bar side, and pictures hung up on the white walls across the room. There were a out 6 tables or so, the staff was kind enough to add another table to sit our party of 6. There is a singular restroom near the back which also leads out to patio seating. We ordered crepes which were a good portion of the menu, but they have sandwiches and soups. As a part of a food crawl with friends we split the Chicken Marsala, Burrito, and Creme Brulee crepes. The Chicken Marsala crepe was delicious, the sauce was creamy. Nice cheese pull too, chunks of chicken throughout. The Crepe Burrito was a nice take on a breakfast burrito using a crepe instead of a tortilla. I really liked how light it made it. Eggs were fluffy, with bits of bacon throughout and the spicy salsa was perfect. The creme Brulee crepe was a nice ending. It wasn't totally creme brulee but it wasn't bad by any means. Custard in with bananas and strawberries, simple but still light and just the right amount of sweet. I also ordered a Salty Caramel Latte. It was a little on the sweeter side but not overly sweet. Nice foam and smooth going down. This place is a perfect brunch spot if you're looking for one. Would come back to try more crepes!

I'm so happy we have a new breakfast spot that serves excellent crepes! I've been craving it so much since La Creperie closed. This place makes really good Chicken Marsala. It was filling and good for sharing. I can't wait to go back and try the rest on the menu. Street parking is easy to find. Come early because they get pretty busy. There's more seatings outdoor in the back if you have a bigger group. I love that this place is kid-friendly.

This is a nice quaint cafe with a small patio out back. The menu costs it of mostly Crepes and Sandwiches along with Coffee and Smoothies.I'm always a sucker for a good Panini so I ordered the Italian. It was good but not great, so as I'm expected I suppose. The service was good, but the kitchen was slow, so I would recommend this place if you about to starve, but it's nice to meet with some old friends and break bread with some good conversation. They offer a free Regular Crepe for Yelpers, and we opted to add Bananas and Strawberries for $2.25. It made for a really nice desert.

Located near Heartwell Park and Village Rd in Long Beach, this creperie is hidden and it's interesting! I came on a weekday for breakfast and it was quiet. Ambiance feels like you're in a home patio in Lakewood and service was friendly, but not doting. Talked to chef and they've been around for 7 years locally and 17 years in LB. This was previously known as "delightful crepes". I've lived here for a while, but didn't know this place was here as it's hidden from the busy traffic. Was only able to hear about this through yelp and their huevos rancheros crepe is what caught my eye. Their huevos rancheros was nice. It gave me bean and cheese burrito vibes, but their runny egg and homemade salsa were nice. I mean that in the best way possible. I did want a boost of spice/heat, so I added some habanero hot sauce. I didn't miss a tortilla as their freshly made crepe was a fun substitute; however a crispy texture (crispy onion/crisped tortilla strips, crisped potato strings) could have elevated it further. Apparently, you could order "house potatoes" as a side dish and I think I should have done that.Their most popular crepe is apparently their chicken marsala crepe, but their chili relleno crepe special caught my eye. I Checked in and they had a "yelp check in deal" for a complementary classic crepe, which was a simple crepe with brown butter and brown sugar. It was the perfect dessert and palate cleanser. Next time I come back, I'd like to try their custard filled, "creme brulee crepe". I did order a salted caramel latte and they use the torani syrups to flavor the coffee. Their hours are limited, but they're open for brunch hours daily. Support small business!Important Note: CASH/VENMO/ZELLE ONLY

Quaint and homey cafe that seems to be able to transport customers to an exotic neighborhood, The Gathering Cafe offers plenty of interesting brews, but it's the large selection of crepes that really steals the show.It was my first visit, and the chicken marsala crepe opened my mind on what's possible with a well prepared crepe. It's not only delicious and flavorful, but it's a substantial crepe filled with high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a blessing.Perhaps because it's tucked away in the back of a shopping center, it was not crowded during lunch time. The clientele tends to be older too. I was the youngest customer, and I am already in my fifties. They serve breakfast and lunch, and close early at 3:00 pm. Soak in the nostalgic vibe of the restaurant and be ready to be transported to a different dining experience.

Had a pleasant brunch! Owner/Manager was super friendly and had a few nice chats! First time here and we ordered the "meatless" meatball soup, Caesar salad, and basic breakfast. Drinks: Thai Iced Tea & Pumpkin Spice Latte. Everything was good! Looking forward to trying different items on their menu!

Great food, really good service. Got the pizza crepe and the crème brûlée one, portion sizes are great and the pizza crepe was better than actual pizza. The staff are very friendly and we had a good chat with them. Overall 5 star restaurant

The service was attentive but the food was awful. Not sure where all of the good reviews came from. I ordered the veggie panino and it was very disappointing and lacking good flavor. The eggplant wasn't prepared properly and there were just a few pieces of veggies on it. $17 and it didn't come with a side. Blah

Cozy space, very cute and generally quiet. The crepes were pretty good! My child enjoyed the ham and cheese crepe, and my sister's chicken and spinach crepe was delicious! I didn't care much for the chorizo crepe, I didn't think it was flavorful, but I'm sure others probably really like it. My vanilla latte was DELICIOUS, I wish I could order another one. -1 star because of the payment process (Venmo, Zelle, or cash only!) -- that's kind of odd to me, but more importantly, it takes more time to complete than intended. Trying to figure out whose phone number or email address to send the payment to was not as smooth, the owner (?) had to help 3 parties (including mine) figure out the payment process. Another -1 star because they either were: 1) busier than usual for a Friday morning, or 2) as busy as usual and need to hire more employees who can actually help.I could tell the woman in the kitchen and the gentleman serving the tables were working as fast as they could to service everyone. The food did come out slower than I'd like, but everything came out perfect, and mostly delicious (see my thoughts about the chorizo crepe above)! Clearly, they need more help! Eventually the owner (?) came in to assist -- mostly assist with payments and chat with customers. The real -1 star is how the owner was speaking to the male waiter once one party left. She had a verbally accusatory tone and was criticizing the gentleman for not getting plates out on time, and was asking about payments that her Venmo account received while he was still trying to do his serving job. She really put him in an embarrassing situation that was not tasteful for customers to witness, and truly, was unfair to him. I hope she considers treating this gentleman better and more kindly... and using her hands to be more helpful. While chatting with guests is nice, it doesn't help the rest of the staff.
