My first review of the year goes to Thai Smile, and they sure did make me smile! I got a to-go order from their lunch special which includes a soup or salad. The price was decent. The interior has tons of seating and pretty wall decorations. The lady at the front was sweet and helpful, and when the food arrived a couple of minutes later, it was piping hot! The container size may look misleadingly small, but I was SO full afterward and happy! I ordered the Panang curry with soup. I love Thai food, but I rarely try any of their soups so I'm not sure how other places compare, but wow this free soup was so interesting I have never tasted anything like it before. It's sweet and sour, similar to Vietnamese fish sweet and sour soup (Canh Chua) but sweeter and less sour, and comes with vermicelli noodles, some chicken strips, and bean sprout veggies. The soup was a banger and I'm glad I chose it instead of a salad. I like it so much I might even order just the soup next time.The panang curry was also great; creamy, and coconutty, with a tiny kick. The rice was fluffy, not too dry, and complimented the curry well.All in all, I was super satisfied with this order and will be visiting again.

Good place for Thai food in the RSM area. My mom, sister, and I like to get Thai massages across the street, and Thai Smile is our post-massage dinner place. I usually get their Tom Kha Gai soup with brown rice, which is creamy from the coconut milk but still light and tangy. My sister really enjoys their yellow curry.For dessert, the mango sticky rice is so delicious and I highly recommend it. While I can't comment on the authenticity, I've enjoyed all the dishes I have had so far and would recommend it to anyone craving Thai food.

Our waitress (Tobi) was as amazing as the food was. She was very friendly and attractive, and food was fresh and flavorful. We got the Poh Tack Seafood soup, OMG was so good. We also order the Pad Kara Phoa, if you like spicy highly recommend.

Visited a nearby place and wanted Thai food. Stopped here and had a delicious lunch. The crying tiger was so good! The steak was marinated very well and the extra dipping sauces were perfect! Reminded me of the sauces we had in Thailand to go with our bbq. We live in SF and have access to great Asian food but will be craving this!

Normally this place is pretty good. Their yellow and red curry are delicious and I usually get the crying tiger.Unfortunately, today my wife and I ordered about $120 worth of food and received some food which was rancid smelling and spoiling. The curry's were good but the Mongolian beef was extremely rancid. You can smell the rancid meat even through the sauce and I tried eating one and had to spit it out because it was rotten meat.Again, this is the first time this has happened and I have eaten here several times prior. I tried calling but there was no one to answer the phone. Just wanted to warn them about the bad meat in their Mongolian beef today. Picture is attached of the beef.

This place has really gone downhill recently. The quality and care of the food especially. I ordered the house Thai salad, my absolute favorite, and half the salad was inedible due to it being the ends of the lettuce pieces. For $13 I'd expect a salad to have the best pieces of the lettuce... not the left over pieces. In addition to that, the price has gone up (same as everywhere, I understand)- but if they're going to raise their prices, they should also consider making their food the same quality as it used to be or better.
