Our Thai spot when I visit the in-laws. It's owned by the same company as "Sushi on Fire" and while we've been here several times we've never tried either of their sushi locations.Duck Noodle: Noodles with roasted duck (Skin on), bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and garlic sauce. My favorite, very nice soy sauce based broth, overall noodle soup tasted clean and not heavy.Potak: (Hot & sour seafood soup) Thai spicy soup with seafood in a spicy broth of lemongrass (Shrimp, fish, calamari, and mussel). Delicious and a good option for seafood lovers, my wife uses their version as the bar for tiwhr places. Pad Thai: pan-fried noodles with egg, bean sprouts, cooked in sweet and tangy sauce garnished with crushed peanuts. Noodle were perfectly cooked and not falling apart, consistent for takeout or in-person dining.Shrimp Blanket: Marinated shrimp rolls with wonton skin served with sweet and sour sauce. Nice and crunchy, tasted great with the sweet and sour sauce.

It's been awhile since I've been wowed by Thai food and omg did this place deliver. I have been on a mission to find the best drunken noodles and I think I just found the spot. My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday evening and were seated almost immediately. We ordered the rotee for our appetizer and got the pad Thai level spicy and drunken noodles medium spicy as our entrees. Both dishes were super flavorful and delicious. I was surprised how yummy the drunken noodles were considering how I've been to other Thai restaurants and felt it was bland more often than not. Definitely didn't happen here. My boyfriend's pad Thai was phenomenal, it's tied for our favorite spot in LA.The food came out in 10-15 min. The servers were great and kept refilling our waters without asking. Vibes were chill, will come back for sure.

Likes:+ Scrumptious variety of Thai culinary options. The curry entrées go well with rice. The soup entrées go well with noodles. All can be enjoyed family style.+ Polite, helpful staff. They check in on you often.+ Good amount of parking.+ Two restrooms.+ Aesthetic interior layout.Non-likes:- Very expensive. A side order of just noodles is small yet costs a whopping $4. The actual value of this portion is maybe 50-75 cents.- For the price, not a lot of edible fish parts in the Yellowtail soup. Also not a lot of vegetables.

This unassuming, hole-in-the-wall restaurant offers some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Despite its modest exterior, the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere.I ordered the boat noodle, and it was one of the best I've had in the area - rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Penang curry and pineapple fried rice were also good, though pretty comparable to other Thai places around the area. What really sets Thai on Fire apart is the exceptional service. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. They were more than happy to accommodate special requests and provided excellent recommendations.Overall, Thai on Fire is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine in a cozy, unpretentious setting. It's definitely worth a visit, and I can't wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes as their menu is pretty extensive. Overall: 8/10

It's been a while since we have been here. ( We moved) They have pretty new menus with lunch specials. We usually order their simple salad and woh won ton. So this time we ordered one lunch special which came with a small salad and egg roll and rice. Choose the broccoli with pork and had our woh won ton. Left stuffed and very happy with our choices. Great flavors and freshness.

LOCATION: Brookhurst/SlaterPARKING: Relatively small-medium sized lot, not difficult at allWHAT WE ORDERED:* Thai sausages ($11.95)* Pad Thai w/ chicken ($13.95)* Drunken noodles w/ pork, medium spicy ($13.95)Super delicious Thai food at such an affordable price point! The restaurant may look small, but the inside is surprisingly spacious, clean, and sleek. The staff were all lovely, beginning from the moment we walked in, all the way to us paying the bill.We started with the Thai sausages. It was the perfect appetizer size. Regarding taste, it was nothing extraordinary, but I'm glad I had something to chew on before receiving our entrees. The Pad Thai was modestly sweet but still savory. No complaints there. The real star of the night was the drunken noodles. When ordering, they ask what spice level you want your dish. As a spice lover, I usually opt for a medium spice as a good starting point. Let me tell you -- they do NOT play around with their spice! The medium spice had my nose constantly running and desperately sipping and savoring my water because I was scared I wouldn't have enough. Safe to say, my boyfriend has never seen me struggle with spice so badly, lol. There's also a little basket with vinegar, chili oil, and other spices (which I did add to my dish because I loveeee the extra flavor). I am looking forward to my next visit to Thai on Fire because I had such an exceptional experience with their delectable dishes.

There's lot of Thai restaurants in OC but why we chose to come here. First of the taste, aroma and portions really perfect. Secondly the servers were nice and attentive always checking in to see if we need anything else. Tonight we're ordering Thai sausages, large Tom Yum soup and Num Tok beef salad and all three so tasty. The food came out really quick. It's a nice ambiance to enjoy a little dinner.

Recently tried Thai on Fire for the first time and it was a major letdown. We ordered: crab rangoons, pad see ew with chicken + extra black soy sauce, spicy thai basil with ground chicken extra hot, side of peanut sauceThe peanut sauce felt like a rip-off at $4.50. It was a small portion, overly sweet and lacked flavor.Ordered the spicy thai basil, extra hot, and it arrived with relatively no spice at all. They did accommodate my request for ground chicken, but it didn't help the lack of flavor. It's also a bit smaller than the other entree dish we got. I had high hopes - this dish is supposed to be spicy and delicious! The pad see ew was equally disappointing. They did give a good portion of chicken, but the right flavors weren't there. Overall, underwhelming, not worth the price and will be sticking to Hungry Boy Thai down the street.

Work trip and visiting family and for dinner my family brought me to Thai on Fire! I loved their food. The roast portal with Chinese Broccoli was so good. The veggies were cooked and cut perfectly. The sauce was amazing, light and flavorful. The whole fish, which really was a full filleted fish. I prefer a whole fish with the head and tail. Anyway the fried whole fish with apple salad!! Amazing!! The salad with the fried fish was soooo delicious. Who knew green apples, red onions, green onion and Cilantro would be so good together. With a fish sauce type of dressing. So good!! We also had their shrimp Pad H the ai and the Pumpkin Curry with chicken. Both delicious as well!! I love trying new dishes and eating Thai food with my family was a new experience with the roasted pork Chinese broccoli and the fried whole fish with apple salad was like a party of flavors. The service was great.
