Easy review. Food is to die for. Hahaha. Who doesn't like authentic, delicious, and quickly prepared (but hot and toasty) thai food? Plenty of parking and the plac is huge inside. You're in for a real treat. Enjoy!

This place is a hidden gem that has authentic Thai food with affordable price. And ever since I found this place, it has been my and my family's go-to spot for the past few years. I have taken many of my friend groups here and now this has become their favorite Thai place as well.Their price has always been super reasonable and food has always been really amazing. Staff have been always incredibly fast and kind. This restaurant feels very homey and family-friendly. They recently made a new menu with (inflation) adjusted prices. My favorite dish- pompano fish- has gone up by $10!!! And we ordered mango with sticky rice, which was $15- more expensive than Pad Thai.... It's just a little sad how inflation has forced this place to increase the price this much... and now I don't know if I can proudly bring my friends to this place. I am surprised how I never posted a review for this place. It would have been a five star review easily and obviously, but now with the adjusted prices...... I feel grief that this place is no longer the same place anymore

I gave this Thai spot a shot as I saw on Reddit that this place was frequently nominated as the best Thai restaurant in OC area. I was suspicious, so I ordered their yellow curry on Ubereats and waited for almost 50 mins to test it out.Chicken yellow curry--7/10Once I bit into the chicken in their curry, I immediately know they're onto something. It MELTED in my mouth. I never had a piece of chicken this tender in curry. However, the curry soup itself was lacking some coconut flavor which I'm disgustingly obsessed with, and curry spice aroma. Don't really wanna say this but it was pretty mid. Potato chunks were huge and pretty bland. And ----rice is not included. A side of rice is $5. For real?Overall, only the chicken was remarkable, the curry wasn't bad but without that coconut kick and spices I'm not a big fan of it. Would I ever come back to this? Probably not.

Delicious Thai food, ginormous portion sizes -- you'll def get two meals out of these -- and a cozy sit down restaurant (or you can do take out if you'd like). I found the spice levels to be perfect, and they have chili you can add on your own if you need more. They have tons of yummy items on their menu but I'm a creature of comfort and always get pad see yew. It was delish!

Food: 4/5 Pad kee mao was spicy and great, slightly more sweet than I had hope but overall tasty. The raw shrimp salad was delicious and perfect thai level spicy. Thai tea was way too sweet for my liking. Service: 3/5 Servers was ok, a bit of confusion but also the restaurant was packed! The servers were nice.Ambiance: 3/5 Tight area, many large parties, large tables. Decoration was mediocre.

BEST THAT PLACE EVER We came in with a party of 8 and I was very impressed with the quick service provided at Tha Nakorn. I've visited multiple thai places in OC but none compares to Thai Nakorn.1. Meat sticks (5/5): I forgot what this is called but it was SOOOO good. It has an interesting flavor almost like peanuts but it tastes so good we ordered 3 orders! 2. Clams with basil (3/5): it was great also! I wish it was a bit spicier. Still great and good portion regardless! 3. Thai Tom yum 4/5): SOOO good and fillling! It has a lot of mushrooms which I really like and the spice was great! 4. Basil fried rice (5/5): my MUST have everytime I come here. Just try it Would come back 1000x times!

Spacious place for gathering, not too crowded on a Sunday lunch time. The restaurant was clean and bright. The food is on point with minimal wait time. We like the papaya salad, fresh and delicious. The crying tiger could have used more spice, but it is okay when dipping in the sauce. We ordered mango sticky rice. I wish the mango was riper to enhance the sweetness of the dessert. Although the sticky rice was yummy with coconut milk, this dessert still missed the sweetness from mangos. Overall, nice place to hang out for Thai dishes in the area.

Food: This Thai restaurant received an award from the Thai Government for their authentic thai foods. Their street style Pad Thai was so flavorful with notes of savory and tangy flavors. It was cooked perfectly and complemented well with strong curry flavors. Don't forget to leave room for dessert like their Mango Sticky Rice and Coconut Pudding. I usually don't get dessert at restaurants, but I loved the Coconut pudding! It comes out in an actual coconut and you get to carve out the pudding from inside the coconut. I loved trying so many different authentic Thai foods! I was familiar only with the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew when I thought about Thai food, but I was happy to be able to expand my horizons on Thai food. Service: Every staff member I interacted with were so friendly! There were foods I have not tried before, and they were great at explaining the flavors of each dish.Ambiance: Indoor Seating only. The space was pretty huge, with tables for big families too! Plenty of Parking.

Thai Nakorn is always in rotation for me and this is my official review. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! (was on a Thai food kick for a few weeks) However, my top faves has to be the fried fish with mango salad, the pad see ew and the crispy rice. The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. We never had to ask anything twice! Cant wait to come back and try other dishes!Honorable Mentions:-Plenty of parking-Accepts credit card-Great for groups/sharing

Here's another place that brings back home memories. As a kid, when my family is too tired to cook dinner, we go to Thai Nakorn. Family gatherings were around the kitchen table filled with authentic northern Thai dishes freshly made by my entire extended family. Typical Thai dishes include sai oua, tom kha noom, larb moo kua, nam prik noom, nam prik ong, som tom boo, pat boong, tom makhua and lots of sticky rice. Coming home over Christmas break, it was a no-brainer that my family all gathered here.
