Thai Basil serves up a solid Pad See Ew that hits all the right notes. I ordered it with chicken, and the flavors were well-balanced, with a good mix of savory, slightly sweet, and smoky from the wok. The noodles had the perfect texture--soft but still with a bit of chew--and they absorbed the sauce really well. The chicken was tender and cooked just right, blending nicely with the fresh vegetables.Service was friendly and efficient. My order came out in a reasonable time, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. They checked in to make sure everything was good and refilled drinks without having to ask.The ambience is warm and inviting, with a casual yet cozy atmosphere. It's a great spot for a relaxed meal, whether dining solo or with a group. The space is well-kept, and even during busy hours, it doesn't feel overly crowded.Overall, Thai Basil delivered a flavorful and satisfying meal with great service. I'll be back to try more from the menu.

$19 (incl tax)...ordered the Crying Tiger for dinner takeout but found out you have to pay extra for Rice Egg Roll Soup and Wonton like what you see in the other pictures. This only included a handful of cabbage cucumber and tomato. Overpriced compared to the lunch specials

This is officially my new go-to spot for Thai food in OC.Their menu offers a wide variety of options, but that doesn't mean they compromise on quality--every dish we tried was so flavorful and well-made.My favorites were the classic Pad See Ew, the Shrimp Spring Roll, and the Tom Yum Gai soup. Each dish had bold, authentic flavors and was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect sweet ending to balance out the savory meal. The service was also great! The staff was friendly and attentive. Another plus is the ample parking--they're located in a spacious plaza, making it really easy to find a spot.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the area, we are yet to try something we do not like. We came for a late lunch around 3pm and were able to just walk in with no wait. We noticed that they have a new item on the menu, the crab rangoons, and we decided to start with that. They are really good and would highly recommend them. They come with a sweet and sour sauce to dip. For entrees we had: chop suey, duck curry, crispy chow mein and a side of small egg fried rice. Everything was delicious! This was my first time trying crispy chow mein and I really liked it. The staff was very nice and quick service as usual.

It's been awhile since I've eaten here, but I've always enjoyed Thai Basil. The service is generally good and the food is always great. I don't think I've ever eaten anything that I didn't like here. I enjoyed the ambience. They have Time music playing in the background and a really nice decor featuring Thai decorations.I ordered the tom yum gung soup with white rice and some papaya salad. Both the soup and salad were created at the mils level. I can't handle Thai heat. It gets too spicy for me. But if you can handle the heat, go for it. I have eaten food at the medium level before. The food was still delicious but I couldn't feel my mouth during and after. Lol. I'm coming back again if I'm in the area.

This is seriously a hidden gem Thai food! They have some special menu that are extremely good and I wouldn't have known it if not for the recommendations from my server. The beef panang curry was slow cooked for 6-8 hours and I could totally feel that because the beef was so tender. The curry was thick and really yummy. The fish cake starter was also made in house. The paste texture was just like what I had in Thailand. Other dishes we had were great too, the fried rice, tom kha, etc. This is like a local, homemade place that made me feel cozy. Totally recommend!

This restaurant is probably the closest and best place near CSUF to stretch that Thai food itch that you occasionally get. It's not the greatest but when you craving Thai food it definitely hits what you want. If I could give it a 3.5/5 I would. The place is relatively large so there's no wait usually, and the servers are very nice to us. Usually always ready to take our orders and attend to the table quite often.

This is our local Thai place. Super close to UC-Fulerton and anytime we have been in, there are Thai folks eatings as well- a good sign for any restaurant. I mostly get take-out for the house, be do occasionally dine-in.The staff are all smiles, whether you are eating in or getting it to go. We have never had a bad interaction or experience. The bathroom, kitchen, and dining area is always clean - it is nice that you can peer into the kitchen.Parking can be hectic, but not impossible.

Definitely not what it once was. Noodle dishes are still decentBut the yellow curry has a soapy, almost bilious aftertaste now. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, because it was always before .. but after two chances I can confirm, yellow curry is terrible here now. .

Today seems like a little bit of a lazy day and I wasn't starving but I needed something to just eat and try that was healthy and that I've never tried before and Thai basil is nine minutes away from me so not too far for me to drive. Which is really nice since I'm not feeling great, but I really have been meaning to try these Pad Sew Ew noodles for quite some time I've seen all my Yelp friends try it and I've been meaning to so I thought why not today is the day I didn't get it spicy just in case for my stomach, but I did get a little spice on the side. I ordered over the phone and picked it up and took it home to eat very delicious noodles. They were chewy. There was a lot of flavor. They put vegetables in it. I chose the chicken one since it's safe. Oovi was the one who brought my order when I arrived and paid she was really sweet. She had a smile on her face. Thank you so much. They seem to be a little bit busy today for a nice little cold gloomy day, I didn't feel like cooking so this was easy for me. Very much enjoyed the noodles. I definitely want to try those again. Thank you for getting my order to me quickly and for the friendly happy service.Have a beautiful day :)Aloha
